    Fried Haddock

Our first stop on our roadtrip to Rhode Island for a Costal Weekend. This is a local watering hole, where you can slow down and have a drink while enjoying the sea breeze. A great place to relax after being in the car a few hours. But it gets busy after 7:00 pm and the parking lot was full. The fried haddock tasted fresh with a light breading. The focus was on the fish. I prefer a crispier beer battered breading. The clam chowder left me disappointed, I prefer a prefer a thicker chowder with more savory flavors. This felt like more of a soup. This was my first time ordering clam cakes. They were very similar to hush puppies. The service was an average experience. Overall felt ok, not super impressed but not bad either.

Awesome place, wonderful service, fantastic food, huge serving at great prices. Great casual dining, we go a couple times a month. The best stop for lunch, dinner also the dessert is amazing.

    Lobster roll and Cole slaw.

Amazing food and service. Oysters were great and only $1 a shuck (before 4:00). Hard to find that nowadays. Steamers and lobster rolls were on point as well. Love this place!

*Cap'n Jack has two locations next to each other* This place - The Salt Marsh Pub & Raw Bar - was so underrated. Went there last minute based off their decent google reviews and couldn't be happier. Sat outside with a beautiful view, staff was attentive and friendly, beer was great, and food was delicious! We'd go back when we're in town again. Highly recommend:)

Came here at 11 am on a Saturday right at opening. Staff were ready to welcome us in. We opted to sit outdoors which was a patio overlooking a salt marsh. The server was friendly and made sure that we were doing well, she even came to talk to us about the bunnies and the birds that hang out in the area. Got the chowder and clam cakes. Chowder definitely had a lot of seafood and potatoes in it. Clam cakes are like big pieces of fried bread with clam in it. I've never had it before and was pleasantly surprised by the crispy exterior and soft chewy interior. It was a little too heavy for me so I only finished one cake. Overall, I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Fresh perfectly cooked seafood, delicious cocktails and wonderful attentive friendly servers! Nancy, our server, was the best! She helped with our menu selection and was great. The Seafood Cioppino was tasty and had generous portions of shrimp, mussels, clams and scallops in a light tomato broth over pasta. The fish and chips special was so good, as was the plump clam cakes and the chowder was great. The view of the salt marsh at sunset was so pretty. We absolutely can't wait to visit soon!

Reasonably priced despite being near the water. Food isn't bad but I've also had better.

The chowder was warm at best, and filled with giant chunks of potato. Removed the potato and there was no chowder left in the cup. For dinner I had the fish and chips, the fish completely dried out. Same with my sister in laws fish sandwich, dry and chewy. I could go on about the rest of the guest's food but let's just say it was sub par. Not worth the 300 + dollar bill at the end.

Inside is large space with lots of table, seatings, and bar along with outside seating as well. We sat down on the 2nd floor. We ordered some applewood bacon mussels to start and ordered whole local baked fish. Applewood bacon mussels were delicious. Great flavor of mussels and aromatics. The best part is the broth that has the essence of mussels and bacon. You dip garlic bread to eat them. We had to order more garlic bread because we couldn't have enough and didn't want to waste the broth. Our main fish was whole baked sea bass. Came in huge plate with potatoes, garnish and 2 whole baked sea bass and side of salad. Salad and potatoes were ok but the fish was fresh and delicious. Only down side is that fish had to be dissected to be eaten and has a-lot of bones and scales. Its definitely as task not for everyone but luckily i was used to eating grilled fish so with some help of chopstick i was able to separate the meat from the rest. Season them in lemon, salt , pepper with some hot sauce to eat them. Service was good overall and our waitress was attentive. Overall it's a solid seafood restaurant at a nice location. Food was good and service was excellent. Price was on the higher side though. Still not a bad place to visit for seafood. Mussels are must try.

The location is hard to beat, especially when we can grab a table outside and bring the dogs along. My boyfriend loves the lobster bisque so much that I've genuinely seen him lick the bowl. His lobster roll looked perfect on our most recent visit, served on a buttery toasted bun and overflowing with large chunks of lobster. As someone who eats gluten free, I especially appreciate that Jimmy's has separate fryers. It's such a treat to be able to enjoy fried seafood without worry. From the fried scallops to the fish and chips, everything has been delicious. The generous portions, friendly atmosphere and dog-friendly outdoor seating keep us coming back. Thank you to Jimmy and the entire team for creating such a special place. We absolutely love it and can't wait for our next visit!

It is self serve, order at the window and get paged when it's ready. We decided to try a few different items. The clear chowder was delicious with a great clam to potato ratio. To be fair the clam cakes weren't my favorite I don't care for seasoning in them, but my spouse enjoyed them. Fish without the "chips" was a generous portion of flounder cooked to perfection. The cold lobster roll was delicious and plentiful with a perfectly grilled roll. All in all a good option when in the area !
