Worst mortgage broker ever! Do NOT deal with these falsely…read moremarketed & shady people. I was directed to them as I work in public education for the state of CA. They are the "Teacher Next Door" program lender. DO NOT be fooled - they are amazingly archaic, oblivious to the current real estate market, and offer very high interest rates! We applied for a pre-approval (not full underwriting) with a hard pull on our credit, submitted documents, proof of income and pay stubs. A week later, they reply and said they are sending out written letter of verification of employment. I said WHAT ? We are not at that stage of underwriting so I was confused. So we then get a call from their network "realtor" asking if we wanted to look for a home. I asked realtor "um where do you suggest we look for a home in Los Angeles County for under $400,000 ?". The realtor said nothing - I said, how about a vacant lot in the Mojave desert ? The realtor said she knows something about Southern California realty so tried to apologize. I could not believe the gall of this mortgage company to offer such a low amount to a state of California employee! Very disappointed with this company. Don't waste your time!

The claim number with my personal home owners insurance is Travelers Claim# INV4433. James Caskey did not like an honest google review I posted in 2019 about his business practices. He recently had someone contact me to remove the review. I stated I was open to removing it if the lender took accountability and apologized for the lies he told me and delays for 7 months and headache with wrong credit reports and funding that was the wrong amount and high interest. He did not apologize but sent another email indicating he was going to possibly "report" me somewhere. The following day I received a call from my homeowners insurance that James Caskey has filed a claim for money.
