Their buy back program has completely changed, charging nearly triple interest rates, they used to empathize with people about buying back forfeited items and now it's only about filling the companies pockets. Do yourself a favor and go to the one near 185th, the gentlemen in there are extremely nice and will offer you double whatever this store does. This location just needs to close because it's clearly cursed.

He walked away 10-15feet and I didn't notice until last night he dug a tool into both of the emblems. He handed me the emblems and said don't ever fxxx return I said I won't ever don't u worry. He then began verbally assaulting me and making gang signs. I was walking to my car and he followed me to my car yelling and cussing to fight him and he had a gun and would shoot me he lifted up his shirt and showed me a black gun. My car wouldn't start and he's yelling at me to get off his property. I didn't have my cel phone it was home. I went to the Mexican restaurant and called AAA. I am 55 years old and recently became disabled. I am very respectful and I was discriminated against and he was trying to rip me off saying that the majority of the weight was in the nail. Then followed to my car and threatened to be shot. I called the Seattle police department and I was told that they couldn't get the video evidence without a warrant. I figured the bad reviews are just from people who have received loans for or have sold their products. However, I entered as a paying customer to buy goods and I had a very shady experience with a dodgy owner. I came to this place today (29 Mar, 2023) to look for something for my mother-in-law's 50th anniversary. The blond woman behind the counter was charming and helped me look through the jewelry she had available. She told me that she just took over ownership of the place and said she had really good deals. We searched as I explained what I was looking for, and finally settled on two little heart pendants at $199 each. The owner said that the hearts had a 10karats stamp on them but she suspected they may be a higher karat, possibly 18k (or more). I told her that I would take them because I could just take them to a jeweler to solder them together and mount birthstones on them. I was even going to pay the asking price and not haggle for lower just because the customer service was worth it. She agreed and asked me to wait a moment while she tested the gold to find out how many karats they actually were. She turned her back to me so she can test on the counter behind her, out of my view. **I am not a person that has a problem with buying jewelry from pawn shops because even though the jewelry is used, it's not worn out. You can clean it professionally and place it in a retail jewelry shop to sell at retail, again and no one would know the difference. Some people just have a misguided belief that it's worth less because it's used. Gold retains the same value whether it's new or used.** The gold testing involves rubbing the gold item on a seemingly smooth rectangular stone which scratches off trace, unnoticeable amounts of gold. You then add a drop of a specific acid that dissolves non-gold metals. Each liquid has a different level of corrosiveness for determining how many gold karats the item is. It only takes a few seconds. After a few minutes, the owner turned around and said, "You know, I don't think these are going to work out for you". I asked why, to which she replied "I just don't... trust me. They're just not going to work out", as she took them to the back. She then came back to the front and asked if I wanted to look through any of the other available jewelry. I just gave her a dead stare, said "No... thank you..." and walked out. For whatever reason, she refused to tell me why she didn't want to sell them, all of a sudden. There could be many reasons. If they were not real, she could have said so. It doesn't affect me if they forgot to test the gold at the time they purchased it, only to find out now. However, If they were not gold, she wouldn't have taken them to the back. She could have just left the "fake" gold on a shelf behind the counter since it's worthless. It seemed more like her suspicions of the pendants being a higher amount of karats were confirmed and she decided she could sell them for much higher. The worst part for me is that she refused to tell me why she changed her mind about selling those items to me but had no problem with selling me anything else. This was my first time going to a pawn shop to make a purchase in over 20 years and unfortunately went to a shady one, even with "new ownership". I am never coming to this place again and caution everyone from purchasing anything from here...

This is the best jewelry store I have ever seen! The merchandise is stunning and high quality. I generally walk into jewelry stores and see a few pieces I would love to own. Not in this store-I love every single thing they have displayed. They feature the rarest of bracelets and rings that are totally statement pieces. Best of all the prices for their pieces are at least 1/2 lower than what you would find anywhere else...if it is even possible you could find even 1/3 of this amazing one -of -a-kind-merchandise in one place. Parking is plentiful and the employees couldn't be more honest, straightforward and knowledgeable. I went in looking to sell a few very high quality pieces and they offered me great prices. If you are in the market to buy any piece of jewelry you have to come here first or you will end up kicking yourself for getting ripped off somewhere else. Their website doesn't do their inventory justice, you have to go in and check it out. They are completely no pressure/ no stress and happy to give u honest advice. If you are anywhere in the greater Seattle area looking to buy or sell jewelry, you have to come here first. There are several other stores who always run adds and radio commercials and that I was familiar with, however, after reading several horrible yelp reviews and negative feedback from my friends, I decided not to go to those two chain stores.
