Mr. Heinmiller came, communicated every single step of the way, was polite and congenial, and made sure the job was done RIGHT. The tale continues - if you're still with me, hold on to your butts, as Samuel L Jackson's character from *Jurassic Park* says. Picture it - Ohio, 2025. A crisp winter morning. Mr Heinmiller texts to say he's here and ready. He wheels in this absolute monster of a toilet auger/snake. Before I can blink, he's got the toilet off and is ready to go! Whoot! He pours 5 gallons of water down the pipe, expecting backflow. The pipe drinks it down like a man lost in the desert. Whelp, that's not great. Ever thorough, he snakes the pipe to make sure, for which I am immensely glad for peace of mind. This, however, means the issue is the toilet! Ugh. Again, Mr Heinmiller assuages me, goes and gets a toilet, is back within 20 minutes, and bada bing, bada boom - new, beautiful, FLUSHING toilet. ‍‍ Mr Heinmiller took the bidet off the old toilet and installed it on the new one (and OMG, I did not realize how gross bidets got - totally cleaned it before it went on the new one, but he was ever the professional and totally judgement free!). I wanted/needed specific HOA approved terms, I didn't want to attach to the neighbors fence and I wanted the gate facing in. I'm sure if I'd said it was urgent they'd have tried to come sooner. They came out a week or so after I called to check things out and give me a quote. That guy, Matt, and the later handyman were friendly and efficient. Then another few weeks till they came out. I got the disposal and they installed it, plus added a plug under the sink and fixed the wall switch. Took an hour or so. This is the only handyman our dogs haven't barked at when they got here, and never did. He said he has dogs, but sometimes ours go nuts no matter what, on just hearing or smelling a stranger. The roof took maybe half an hour. Again, professional and efficient. Prices seem a little high to me, but it's been awhile since I hired anyone so this may be the new normal. And I used to be able to do some of this stuff but can't now, so, I have to pay someone sometimes. Worth it to have it taken care of.
