Line X bed liner clean lines nothing on paint
    Ryan F.

I got a Line X bed liner installed in my new vehicle today. Arrived for my appointment a few minutes early and as soon as I walked in I was greeted and the process was started. I waited in a lounge which had comfortable seating and there was free WIFI. The process was completed within an hour and thirty minutes (30 minutes sooner then originally told). The bed liner was flawless. Clean lines, smooth and even coating. Staff took the time to make sure clean lines were where the bed liner stopped and the paint began. Also made sure the bed lights were taken care of perfectly and the hooks were coated all the way around. Very happy with the service I received.

    Mirror peeling first try
    Suzanne A.

DON'T put yourself thru the struggle. I write this in fear knowing the owners will attack like they have to others but don't want others to go thru what I did. My Tesla model y was done wrong after showing them what I wanted and mirrors peeled off days later. They didn't have time for tint. Had my car too long. Attempt number two I couldn't show them what they did wrong because son/co owner has too many pictures on his phone so they made me print a photo to show them what they did wrong. Again kept my car too long. Left outside in the elements. Now my wrap is peeling again in a different spot. I called and the owner yelled at me. Told me all about her trouble of a broken machine. Never apologized. I asked for a refund. She yelled at me and told me she needed to sleep on it and call me tomorrow. I wished her a better day and stayed friendly. Next day, no call. I had to call her back. Tried to compromise again and she refused. She said she didn't care if I left a bad review. I was forced to accept a refund that won't even cover me fixing the mirrors he couldn't get right twice. I don't trust them again for the third time and I can't be without my car another three days. I wrote this knowing they will come at me. Even if you don't believe me, go somewhere else where you won't fear retaliation from the owners

Most of the shops in the 518 don't give a rat's butt about the customer. This business has an owner…read morethat wants the customer to get what they want not what the business wants. This is what makes a good shop. I started doing business with Jesse about 5 years ago. Now after a couple of installs on my Cars (Mercedes Benzs') and my partners and friends cars, he never stops giving the best advice and work in the area. His knowledge his top of the class. You dont have to own a Mercedes to get a quality install, he treats all his customers with the exact same respect and understanding. His product mix is chosen by him and not the companies that bang on everyone else's doors. He only deals with companies that support the equipment that he features. The best part of his business mantra is if you need it installed it doesn't matter if you bought it from him or not. You will get the same attention to detail. He doesn't just shove it out the door, he takes time and tunes it for the best quality. One of the best part about his shop is he does custom work, wheels, kits, starters , alarms and video what ever you need to make your ride yours. I have been in the sound business almost my entire life. My father and his partner designed the O.G. sound system for SPAC, The Rafters, Sneaky Pete's and even Studio 54. I personally was the first IASCA Head Judge in upstate New York back in the early 90's. I know my stuff and so does Jesse. I have dealt with a lot of the Businesses that are still around and have gone by the waist side, this is my first choice and it should be yours.

We still had hundreds of miles to go, what else can you do on a motorcycle ride other than drive and listen to music?? Stopped by the local Harley dealership and they quickly referred me to this place and once I arrived I see why. Upon arriving and letting the technician know my issue fully expecting them to say they were swamped and wouldn't be able to look at my bike they instead said no problem let's take a look! The guys were incredibly knowledgeable about what we wanted (something extra loud of course) and hooked me up right then and there! If this were in Indianapolis we would have had to wait for weeks just to get an appointment to LOOK at the speakers! We are incredibly thankful that they recognized that this was a need and got us taken care of! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! You may hear us coming down the road soon!

    Ziebart - Bumper Before

Ziebart - Albany, NY were supposed to replace defective paint protective film (PPF), applied to…read morefront bumper that was peeling and lifting. The replacement was authorized and approved by Ziebart corporate. After replacement and before I left Ziebart's lot, I inspected their PPF replacement job. I noticed in the lower right corner of the front bumper, what looked like shapes of geometric fragments, some with vertical and horizontal lines. These were actual PPF fragments that were underneath the new PPF that was applied. The PPF could be actually be seen and felt rising over the top of the fragments underneath. I took pictures. I've included pictures and descriptions below. I pointed this out to the General Manager. He told me that those were "stone chips" that had "penetrated" the PPF. Again, I pointed out to him, showing that the new PPF actually RISES OVER the fragments. His statement was not only ridiculous, it was preposterous. In addition to physically seeing and feeling the raised areas, "stone chip" damage: 1) does not manifest in precise horizontal lines, vertical lines and geometric shapes and then in a small, localized specific area. 2) would create a wider impact and a random pattern. After arguing with him, he said he would fix it and told me TO MY FACE that he needed two estimates from TWO body shops. Not only did I get two estimates from the body shops, I also went to a reputable PPF and detailing shop. They confirmed my findings in a written statement from their technician. Additionally, I had a licensed auto insurance adjuster and body repair estimator look at Ziebart's "handiwork". He also provided a notarized statement attesting to the same findings, essentially there were left over PPF fragments that were covered over with new PPF and that there was no "stone chip" damage. The conclusion is during the removal of the old PPF, the Ziebart workers pulled some of the clearcoat off in that area. They put the fragments back and put new PPF over the top to cover it up. To repair the damage they caused, requires a complete sanding and repaint of the color base and clearcoat, as stated in the body shop estimate. The least of repair estimates was $1,200. I had the PPF removed by a reputable (not Ziebart) dealer, I again took pictures. It showed the the geometric areas and lines I mentioned. There was no stone damage. Again, in addition to that facts, if stones could have penetrated the PPF, they would also have created a wider and random damage pattern, not actual shapes with exact horizontal and vertical lines. Additionally, if stones could penetrate the PPF, then it is a waste of $900 for a defective product. The general manager later refused to honor the estimates provided to him and pay for the incompetence and negligence of his employees. Instead, he sent me an email stating the damage was due to stone chips. In his letter he contradicted himself. I could go on about flaws and contradictions in his statements, but I will just mention this. If he wasn't going to take responsibility, then why did he insist that I obtain two repair estimates from two separate body shops? I contacted Ziebart Corporate and spoke with the "Senior Customer Service and Training Administrator", also sending her all the complete documentation, which also included pictures. Her email response was that there was nothing she could do, as each franchise is individually run. I then filed a complaint with the NY State Attorney General's office. They tried to reach Ziebart's Albany, NY location but told me they did not get any response. What does that say about Ziebart? What do they have to hide? Bottom line, avoid this business and their unscrupulous tactics. The other auto detailing place also pointed out many flaws in Ziebart's application of the PPF, which I didn't know about and that I also documented. I've heard of other complaints from other people, but never really thought much about it, perhaps a random event. Now I know. With that said, find a reputable company that will 100% stand by their work. The old saying is right, Caveat Emptor!
