They were set up and ready to go before the event. Do they have those gigantic cream puffs that I remember fondly from many years ago? Yes. Hubby and I each ordered the Bahama Mama platter. We are light eaters (saving calories for that cream puff which we split). Ooh that Bahama Mama was as good as I remembered with a tasty slightly sweet bun. Usually at least part of buns get tossed. Not this one, i ate the whole thing. The Bahama Mama was topped with sauerkraut and onions at my request. And big thumbs up for the ample serving of the sides of German potato Salad and red cabbage. Their were 2 choices for the cream puff, peach and the traditional vanilla. I chose vanilla. Not quite as good as I remember, a little soggy, but maybe because we took it home on a mid 80's day. All in all I was extremely pleased with this food truck, it's employees and their attention to detail. They were up and running before their appointed time. Food was nicely packed up in a container that did not leak. And because hubby and I split our meal, I have a duplicate to enjoy tonight.

After my initial review, the manager reached out immediately to apologize, explaining that the service I experienced was not up to their usual standards, and offered a gift card for my troubles. A few days later, he checked back in. I truly appreciate the management team's prompt outreach and excellent customer care. While online ordering was still down for the Gateway location, ordering in person was smooth. Evan, who took my order during my last visit, assisted me again tonight and was once again polite, friendly, and extremely accommodating. As for the main attraction--the wings were amazing! Each wing was tossed in plenty of sauce and cooked well-done with a great char, exactly as requested. They barely made it home! I think he may of have the right idea but they were both delicious! I love how they even cut up the chicken so they are already in nice bite size pieces as there is no way I would have been able to cut that up easily with a flimsy plastic fork. We opted to try an Eiffel wrap with falafel and a chicken shawarma. Both came with fries on the side (even the Eiffel wrap that also had them inside), and were nice sized portions. We did not realize that the Eiffel wrap also came with pickles (it had been listed under the shawarma but not the wraps, so FYI for anyone else who has an opinion on pickles, ha). Pickle issue aside, everything else was quite tasty and much enjoyed. It smelled delicious when it came out too. The service side of the truck is nicely decorated with fake flowers/leaves and the menu. Staff was friendly and efficient.

My first bite into the sandwich or roll as they label them was literally a shock to my memory, it took me back to being in Maine many years ago and getting a lobster roll at a restaurant. Now I know my memory is not what it used to be, but I can honestly say this was a freaking delicious lobster roll. I ate the entire roll, wiped my face with a napkin at the table. And went up and told the server behind the counter how good the food was and that I can't wait to literally find them close by again.
