Once inside this down-to-earth shop, the space is open to where each item for purchase can be easily seen. I was greeted with a kind smile of Chad. Although he was handling other duties when I arrived, he did not hesitate to give great customer service with a touch of humor while answering all my questions about pricing for the items that I was interested in. I also experience the kindness in calm communications and hospitality of two other workers; one named James who seemed very professionally motivated. The other young man whose name I do not know (my apologies please), he was very attentive in his assistance to Chad, and the small rush of customers. I paused my own shopping, and began to watch the communications between the workers, and the other customers who were looking to sell and or pawn items. I believe that Top Dollar was flexible and honest with the customers about the values of their goods. Furthermore, I was quite pleasantly surprised to see workers assisting less fortunate individuals with their own funds, wits, and will. It's my opinion that if any establishment helps it's community in anyway, the company is positively on the path for success. Overall, I honestly believe that Top Dollar has some great deals that would make avid shoppers, and or bargain thrifty person eager to purchase goods here. I did not wear it right off but when I wore it the bracelet just fell off of my arm while I was at home thankfully with the link that broke. I took it back to the Woodrow Wilson location and was told to take it to the main location on I-55 frontage road Jackson. They agreed to fix it for free since it hasn't been over 30 days so I left it and picked it up in two weeks. I wore it a week later and it broke again I took it back the guy was telling me it was rough up and wasn't nothing they could do because at this point I don't even want it because I can't enjoy it without thinking I will loose it in public. I can sell it back but want even get half of my money back and I'm very upset because I really wanted me some gold jewelry. The employees that waited on me the past three times were not competent and overcharged me. I went back and showed my research and receipts to show three times being over charged. They made me return the next day. Total confusion on part of owner who could not understand the over charge. Two employees finally figured it out and refunded $61 and change. Limp apology given and not offered better service in the future. This experience has destroyed the confidence and trust I had there, will not be returning.
