Got the strawberry matcha latte. It was pretty good but definitely very very sweet. The service was friendly and fast. The security guard was a little off putting though. He kept following me around when I was trying to take a picture of my matcha. Kinda weird and I was not filming others just wanted a good pic of my drink. Who knew?!!!? I hadn't been to Lenox Mall in over a decade ... maybe. So I had no idea that Capital One Cafes was/is even a thing! Saw the swanky location and decided to stop in. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Cute menu. Great vibes. There is a private lounge that may only be available to Capital One customers - I didn't try to access it - but I had a pleasant time talking with one of the agents. They staff the cafe during operating hours and answer any + all of your banking questions! She also informed me that they offer workshops at the cafes and they are open to anyone. Great coffee and service! I visited here before my movie at AMC and my experience was great. It is a little tricky to find for a first timer but just look for the capital one signs and you'll head in the right direction. I went on earth day and they were giving away the cutest free ceramic cups! Both of the employees were so polite and made my experience all the more better. Staff were friendly enough and nice, but service was slow and not too forward-thinking. Ordered a cold brew, and only after waiting for a bit was I told that they either did not have it or they needed to do something to the machine so it'd be a longer wait. They offered to swap it for an iced americao. I was already in somewhat of a rush, so I said that's fine. You'd think that, if the price of an americano is about half of the cold brew, they would take a little courtesy and at least upsize the order to be more in line with what I had paid. At first glance it looks like a seamless café in the Lenox mall with an open concept. The ambassadors are amazing, kudos for bringing bright and positive energy to the café. The barista however was least pleased to have customers, she gave me the total of my order even before I finished ordering. When I ordered the Vanilla shakerato, I was told it isn't coffee and a mixed drink, did I actually want it? which could be understood from the menu and the numerous flyers on each table. For context this was a hot day in Atlanta with 95 degrees. The coffee is alright and not served hot, the shakerato had minimal ice. Would I come back just for coffee probably not. It is a great spot with high stools and tables. Each one of them has charging ports which makes it easy to take meetings on the go or just get some work done on the move. I am a capital one client and have been for a few years. I was first introduced to the cafe while living in Santa Monica, CA. I love the concept of banking and having a community cafe all in one. I like the private rooms, and the open tables as well. The customer service at Lenox is usually pretty good. The ambassadors are attentive whenever I come there. Today, however, was disappointing. I have always found the cafe experience to be a positive place to go to get my work done. Entering the quieter community room, there was one other person in the space that was playing music through his computer and watching a movie on his phone, all while singing and speaking the lines of the movie out loud. It seemed that he became more obnoxious with it the longer I was in there and the room's odor was of fried chicken which he was eating. Needless to say, I felt very uncomfortable using the lounge. As the ambassadors saw me leaving so quickly, they asked if I was ok (I do appreciate the attentiveness). I told them what was happening, and they told me to not leave and that they would have security take care of it. I opted to leave anyway. My point of this review is to suggest to Capital One execs to have some kind of signage that says anyone using their electronic devices for music or otherwise is required to have a headset or they could be asked to leave. This was going to be one of my work spots as I appreciate the rooms. Not so sure now. Please Capital One execs open more cafes in Atlanta. read more

Doing a little shopping at Lenox Mall and discovered Capital One Cafe. So happy that I stopped in because today was "National Plan for Vacation Day" and all Capital One members are able to receive a free drink (coffee, tea, latte etc.) any size today only. I chose the Chai Latte and it was Yummy ! The cafe staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cafe selections as well as the Capital One product/services. I was able to chat with the store Ambassador to see if they had any plans to open in North Carolina. As of today, they only plan to open in Charlotte in 2021 hopefully they will consider the Raleigh-Durham area. In addition, to the Cafe you have the option to open a FREE Checking/Savings account with no monthly fees or minimum. You have the option to open the account via their app if the Cafe is not in your are. While visiting the Cafe all beverages are 50% when you use your Capital One card and Free if they happen to have a promotion like today. Capital One Café offers a generous selection of Peet's Coffee, ranging from lattes to iced matchas to frozen drinks (similar to frappuccinos). It gets better...if you're a Capital One cardholder, everything you purchase is 50% off every day. They do happy hours on Sundays and Wednesdays, and your drink is free from 1pm-3pm. My go-to is an iced matcha latte with almond milk and a little honey. I've also tried the iced chai and their signature Havana Cappuccino. I enjoyed all of them.
