I saw many new people working at the window and in the side offices, and they were very friendly and went out of their way to help me and other patrons. The extremely unpleasant teller was not there making everyone miserable, and customers were moving swiftly through the line. The building has been renovated and was attractive and clean. It was a complete 180 from all previous experiences. I was stunned. The new staff, and possibly new management behind improvements, have drastically upgraded the place. Kudos to all who revamped it into this new, customer-service oriented, attractive, and responsive credit union. I'm amazed.

Do not use Pinnacle CU, if you want to be treated fairly. I opened an account with pinnacle cu to establish relationships with them, knowing I would be buying a home within a year or two. I waited 6 months before applying for a used car loan. With a credit score over 700. I was declined. When I asked why, he said I have too many inquiries with a 700 score, he didn't know about the trade in. When the bill of sales was sent to him listing the full deal.....really? The loan officer was very condescending. Shannon was the only professional that I talked to at Pinnacle during this process. And by the way I was easily approved by Ally bank and Delta community CU within 10 mins.(I went with Ally Bank. Better rate then the CU...crazy...lol). Pinnacle you should do better when hiring unprofessional people that deals with your customers. I hear he's been there for awhile. There's no telling who else he made feel less than about a 700 score which is considered good...right? It really seemed more personal to me. He never called me back even after talking to Shannon on the matter a number of times. He finally called today, with an attitude. When I ask him why he didn't approve me, he cut me off and said, "we not worrying about that. Shannon told me you already got finance somewhere else. What else can I help you with NOW". He shouldn't be dealing with customers with that attitude. Credit Union supposed to be a better choice for customers. Less stress, happy professional employees, great service. This is not the case with your loan officer(that never gave his name) please do better. You have great employees there. Get rid of the unprofessional. There are way to many other great options as you see. Thanks, for listening.

Piedmont bank recently merged with westside bank, and I went to this location to make a deposit since they are closer to my home. I wasn't greeted when, I first walked in, and as I was filling out my deposit slip. The banker Kelly McMillan asked me " what am I doing on this side of town"? I had already told her that I was with westside bank, and she never once welcomed me, thanked me for coming to their branch location, or nothing. She looked at me as if I shouldn't have even been banking there and her question was intrusive ass hell. For a employee to ask why a customer is even at their branch clearly show a lack of professionalism, and discrimination especially being that I'm African American. Then the employee Lauren Poole jumped in the conversation stating she felt offended behind me stating that, I felt like they where discriminating towards me. I was the only African American in the bank, and they both where looking down upon me as if, I didn't belong there. Even after, I asked for a manager they where still arguing with me regarding me complaining about their behavior. The manager kept telling them to stop arguing with me, and they both continued to argue. Just unprofessional, ill mannered, and disrespectful. They have horrible customer, and obviously take pride in mistreating customers. I've never had to experience anything like this at a bank, and I will never patronize this location again.

The hold is now 3 days old. I've been to the bank twice and they can give me no reason for the hold but said "it looked like it will be deposited in another week". The funds have been taken out of the bank I had written the check from. The check was for more than $2,000.00 and was needed for some upcoming expenses. So much for a so called financial institution. I do not blame the Dunwoody Branch as this must have come from some incompetency higher up. If it happens again I will have to close this account with Truist even though I've been with this institution through several change of hands for 50 years with no problem until now

The customer service was excellent. The relationship banker, Li'yonna Battle, deserves a full 5 out of 5 rating. She went above and beyond -- clearly explaining every detail, taking time to understand my business, and making sure everything was accurate and in order. Her attention to detail truly stood out. While she was helping me, I also noticed her giving great service to others. I loved seeing how the team supported one another and genuinely seemed to enjoy working together. The atmosphere was busy but peaceful at the same time. Although it took about an hour to open the account (which is standard), it didn't feel like an hour because of the quality of service. Thank you, Li'yonna Battle, for your excellent care.
