However, further into the process and working with the lender, the agent we used was very incompetent. He was unresponsive and did not have the answers that we needed. Jimmy was recommended and friends have said he had lots of experience, so I decided to go to him for help. Once I explained to Jimmy what our situation was, he immediately knew what to do. He explained to us what we should do, and what options would be presented to us. We did exactly what he said, and we were able to get our loan finalized and everything played out exactly the way he said. We only wished that we went with Jimmy to begin with. We knew areas of Atlanta metro fairly well, but Georgia was able to quickly share valuable insight into which neighborhoods that would meet our needs better than others. We did our homework ahead of even meeting her and kind of knew what we were looking for (if you haven't bought before, go to open houses!). Before we met, we sent her a list of properties we were interested in and she set aside 2 days for us. At the end of the first day we had already seen 5 homes and decided to cancel the second day because we already knew which one we wanted - we moved forward with the offer the next day. We were somewhat aggressive with the offer and were able to get almost exactly what we asked for in the negotiations due to Georgia's ability to justify our offer with the seller's agent. We absolutely feel comfortable recommending her to friends and family.
