My appointment slot was originally 30 minutes but I left after 5. The whole interaction was rather bizarre and entirely unhelpful. I had to hang up and ring another day to speak to someone else. Most of these girls are very young and really don't know what they're doing along with hardly speaking any English. After booking my appointment I kept getting text messages from them asking to change my appointment but they didn't seem to know they were texting me, but still kept on changing my appointments around. I eventually had my first treatment where I was made to feel really uncomfortable with another lady sitting in on the appointment. For some reason they completely covered up my eyes so I couldn't see anything throughout the whole service, lying there in silence. My next appointment was booked in for 6 weeks later but their Diode machine had broken and no one even let me know. They were meant to call me on numerous occasions to let me know when it was fixed but each time I had to call them to find out what was going on. So I waited about 3 months for it to be fixed, by which time I turned up for my appointment and the lady told me the machine was broken again, and again no one even let me know. The manager was actually there that day and I said that I wanted my money back if they can't fix the machine b/cos clearly they can't provide me with the service that I have paid for. He initially agreed to this and he was going to call me when the engineer's had been in to let me know. I never received a call. I rang them to see what was going on with the machine and a girl on the phone confirmed that they no longer provide the Diode Laser treatment, so she put me on the phone with the manager which at this point outright refused to give me a refund. He kept trying to offer me other products and I argued with him over the phone for several minutes where I threatened to get legal involved and I even told him that I would leave a bad review but he didn't seem to care as he kept saying "We offer excellent service" and he just wasn't backing down. So I got in contact with groupon who eventually refunded me the full amount in groupon credit. Please avoid this place if you don't want an awful experience and be ripped off at the same time. I am also very dubious about all these 5* reviews... If you've been in there you'll know what I mean.

I had the best experience with my surgery with Dr Gupta. At consultation he made me feel very at…read moreease and didn't make me feel at all pressured to make a decision straight away which I found very helpful as i felt it was a big thing to consider. After thinking about my options I decided to book in for my procedure. I had my inner thighs done as these were the areas I hated the most. I didn't feel confident to wear shorts or skirts above the kneend as I hated my legs. Dr Gupta and the nursing team on the day of my surgery were all very lovely and encouraging. They made my experience a less nervous and anxious one. The procedure didn't take very long and the instruments used meant that there was less trauma to the skin and underlying tissue etc. The initial stages were a bit uncomfortable but once the areas were numb the rest of the procedure was a breeze. Thank you Dr Gupta for your handy work, I can now walk around wearing clothes I never thought I'd wear again and feel confident in myself again! You have changed my life.

I'm going to hold off taking them for a couple of days to see if I really need them but nice to have I guess. My dr this time was Mike. Friendly and chatty like my last one. I think he had quite a tricky patient before me so he was a few minutes (like 5) late for my appointment but I guess that's fine. I'm still a fan of doctap - does anyone out there know of there's anything similar in London?
