Claire is very intuitive and after a massage with Claire I feel as though I've had a weeks holiday somewhere lovely and warm. Recently I found out that Claire has also now trained in reflexology. I booked a session of reflexology with Claire and it was an exceptional experience. It was as good as a body massage and really relaxed me which lasted for many, many days after. You have to chase them down for it. My visit was with a young woman who was more salesperson than clinician. Right out of the gate, she started talking about peels and microneedling packages in excess of £1200. With £200+ products to boot. When I told her I like my products, she said theirs were just better ("more peptides" and "more plant extracts" and "they're just better"). When I asked her where the products were made, and if they were UK-based, she at first said "yes" but then after reading the packaging more closely, saw that they were actually from Texas, USA. In response to questions about issues I have with the skin on my nose where my eyeglasses make contact, she said my skin must just be sensitive but a chemical peel would help. She wanted to sell a weirdly aggressive package of alternating weeks with chemical peel and microneedling. It seemed more oriented to a high cost package - not about what a good -or even safe- treatment offering might be. What a scam. I'm waiting now for my deposit back. Don't be a fool like I was. AVOID.

On exiting the clinic I was chased down the escalator by a staff member saying I still had another £100.00 to pay for the pleasure. Had I known a simple 15 minute consultation would cost that much I wouldn't have booked it in the first place. It's not clear from the site that you will be required to pay an additional £100.00 for the appointment, nor did any of the staff ever mention it over the phone when taking the booking. 'Shocking' is the word. I had to reschedule my appointment three times and at no point was there any mention that I would be charged an additional £100.00 on top of the £50.00 fee Private or not, that is an insane amount for a 15 minute chat. I understand businesses have high overheads in London and salaries to pay but really?!? £150.00 for 15 minutes?!? I went for the exact same treatment whilst living in Barcelona. The consultation was €70 or free since I went ahead with the treatment which came to €140.00. Sk:n want to charge me over £300 for the exact same procedure. I'd be cheaper flying to Spain for the day to get it done. Disappointed to say the least. Sorry but severely over priced and misleading.

Setting up a consultation was quick and easy, and they have so many locations that it is simple finding a time and place that works around work. The clinic itself is located in the David Lloyd Health Centre at Fulham Broadway and is always clean and welcoming. The staff get 5 stars from me, but I'll have to update my review once I've had more treatments so that I can report back on the results.

I found a serious lack of ethical care, especially around informed consent and communication. Procedures were done without clear explanation or discussion of options, and I was not involved in decisions about my treatment. The billing was confusing and non-transparent, with unexpected double charges (one for the doctor, one for the clinic - both, overpriced). When I raised concerns, the response was slow, dismissive and disrespectful towards the patient, including repeatedly mischaracterising reasons for concern. This isn't about my diagnosis or outcome--it's about respecting patients' rights to clear, honest information and involvement in their care. Unacceptable.
