It's doesn't feel like a stuffy doctors surgery or even that clinical as you walk in. There's a lovely seating area with fresh flowers and magazines whilst you wait. Each person I've met at reception has always greeted me with a warm smile and have kept me updated on my appointment time if they are running late (which only happened when I went to the London clinic, once) I can't say anything bad about Harley Medical and so far I'm very confident in my choice.

The day of my second laser treatment i received a phone call from the so called manager of the firm Deborah Mulbah-Cummings, this lady is rude , unprofessional and her attitude stinks , although when i first met her she masked it all over with a fake smile and really bad coffee. I tried to complain about them changing my treatment day. i had waited for 4 weeks for this treatment and i have a really tight schedule due to running my own brokerage firm and on the day of my treatment , literately an hour before i received a call from this Deborah lady who undermined me, insulted my intelligence, robed me of my money when i ask for a refund and clicked me every time i called in to get my money back, due to them not having a nurse available on the day they promised i would get treated. this has escalated to me taking further action now and i'm in the process of speaking to my lawyer to take this lady to court .

Truly Horrific Experience…read more I first contacted Prodental in May 2017. I booked an appointment and was sent emails with two different appointments - one of the many examples of their shockingly poor administration, which unfortunately is putting patients at risk. I had my first appoint and was told I was suitable for treatment. I was booked in for a scan and another appointment with the dentist for the following week. I had the scan and returned to dentist expecting treatment to start. Instead he took a look at my scan, said I was suitable for treatment based on my results, that I did not need a further CT scan and that I could be booked in for an implant. I was in and out of the treatment room in about a minute. I was then booked in the extraction and implant six weeks later. 3 days before my implant I received a voicemail saying I needed a CT scan - despite previously being told that it wasn't necessary. I had to take time off at short notice for the scan - and was also charged more than I was quoted for the scan. 4 hours before my appointment I received a call from Prodental telling me that I couldn't have the implant at the appointment because I now needed a bone graft. I spoke to the practice manager Nicola Burgess to try and understand what was going on. Like other reviewers of this surgery have experienced, she started shouting at me down the phone, saying it was my fault for not having had a CT scan insisting that all implant patients have one. When I asked her why the dentist said I didn't need one and why, if all patients have one, did they not book me in for one, she kept shouting over me. She was extremely aggressive. I was given no pre-information prior to the surgery telling me if, for example, I should avoid any medication or whether or not I should eat. The extraction of my tooth was, in the words of the dentist 'traumatic'. Now, I love going to the dentist - and I have a great dentist. I typically don't bother with injections (although they don't bother me). The bone graft surgery was brutal. I could feel and see thick thread pulling hard against my lips as I was stitched up and at the same time the dental nurse kept pushing the suction tube so far back I kept gagging. Four times I had to push her hand back. After the surgery I was given no post-treatment guidance to take away. I was given a prescription for 4 items including anti-biotics and steroids. I asked where there was an open pharmacy (it was almost 7pm) and was told 'round the corner'. I had further appointments for check-ups that took me into the following year. I would book 9am appointments but no-one would be at the surgery including during the snow. My gum was opened up a further three times and not once was I given information before the appointment. In November 2017 I was given a document with pre-surgery information 4 minutes before I went in. It contained information I should have had in advance and information I needed afterwards. After signing the form (which I annotated to show I had only just received it 4 minutes before) they took it away from me so I still didn't get the post-surgery care information. That form stated that I should have been accompanied and I was not. I had the impressions taken for the crown in on February 7th. It takes two weeks for the crown to be made but they made an appointment for 3 weeks later due to the snow. The appointment was postponed repeatedly . On 16th March I received the following email (copied directly): "Unfortuatly we will need to cancel your next appointment on Saturday 3rd Febuary 2018 @ 11.30 , We have avalibility on Friday 2nd January 2018 6pm where we can move your appointment." I had to continually chase them to find out what was happening. Finally I was given an appointment on 25th April. At the appointment they twice tried to get me to sign a form saying I was happy with the final results - even though the implant wasn't finished and I had yet to go into the treatment room. I notice in responses to poor reviews they claim that other patients who have had poor experiences have signed that form - no wonder if they are that duplicitous. Further, I understood all medical information to be confidential so I don't know why they publish statements about which forms patients have signed. At the appointment my gum had to be opened up again. The receptionist, who had been typing on her computer, came into the treatment room to act as the dental nurse. She did not wash her hands or put on gloves before handling the injection or the scalpel and for some unknown reason kept giggling whilst leaning over my face. The dentist had to keep repeating instructions, as she did not know what she was doing. Again I got no post-treatment information. My gum was painful and so I went to my regular dentist who showed me how to clean the area and what to buy. Avoid.

It looks pretty new, and I was pleased that when they said 11am for my appointment that it actually was my appointment and not just one of two slots in the day with 30 people booked into each one (seriously, Hillingdon Hospital used to do this for these types of appointments... I used to hate all the waiting there when my Mum was getting the same appointments done). The waiting area is nice enough, tidy seats. Rather large Quentin Blake mural on the wall (I just Googled it, and it's actually a commissioned piece - http://www.quentinblake.com/index.php/john-moreton-books/punky-mouse-for-a-day-1962/item/318-2007zog3 - for that alone, I'm giving an extra star) in the Children's play area. Staff were polite enough and the person who did the eye test was good. I didn't have to wait around too long and I was in and out in about half an hour, which was far less than I expected based on my previous experience at Hillingdon Hospital. Hopefully I'll get to come back here for my next appointment in 2017.

I was a bit apprehensive as Dermaroller (or microneedling) involves minuscule pin pricks on the skin to stimulate the production of collagen. In other words, this technique creates a response from your own body from microscopic needles lightly rolled over the skin. This will speed the body's own rejuvenation process and although you may experience redness and tightness for one day it soon calms down and new skin appears a few days later. Friends, colleagues and clients haven't stop complimenting me on how good my skin looks ever since! A special mention goes to the super professional and helpful team at Clinica Fiore who patiently explained the procedure to me and made me feel at ease.

Of the 8 ceiling lights only 3 were working, a mains socket had been installed upside down & a lamp shade in the hallway full of dust. In the surgery itself on the ceiling you notice a random electrical connector hanging redundantly from the ceiling, a ceiling which is stained by some water damage. lying there on my first visit wondering what the connector could have been for and what aquatic emergency befell the attic I could not help worrying that the dental work would have the same lack of refinement. As I was in pain I felt I would throw caution to the wind and not do an about turn. Much to my relief the Dentist & staff at this practice are all very pleasant. It's good that he takes time to explain what he's going to do and the options you have. All the work I have had done here has been good, if somewhat costly, but aren't all Dentists. The office sends you an SMS or calls a day before an appointment as a reminder. I have always arrived about 5 minutes early for every appointment but have always been made to wait 5 to 15 minutes after my appointment should have started. On days when I am not in a hurry then fine, but some appointments have been early morning before work and being kept waiting for quarter of an hour is really annoying. Perhaps I should SMS them from reception saying 'Still waiting', or I could swap out some of those bulbs, which after 3 months of visits are in the same state.

The surroundings were elegant, smart and clean, not cold and clinical like some places. There were plenty of magazines and a TV to help me take my mind off the appointment but I needn't have worried as the Dentist was, again, friendly and so knowledgeable. He took a great deal of time to explain my treatment to me - I learned much more about my teeth than I was aware. I felt completely relaxed and in control. He also had a gentle manner and I really felt like a person, not a number. I can honestly say I have no worries about my next dental appointment!
