Yesterday I ordered a Quattro pizza and a salad. It wasn't cheap. The pizza arrived stone cold. I spoke to the driver he just shrugged his shoulders and left. When I opened the box, the pizza was burnt on half of the top. It was more than disappointing. While I try to support local businesses, I'm not ordering anything from Capi's again. read more

Good crust, thin and crispy. But the pizza left a little bitterness in my mouth. Sparse amount of mozzarella. Extra toppings cost me 4.50 for about 5 tiny cremini mushrooms and a few small pieces of sausage. Final verdict? 3 out of 10. Will not reorder from Capi's. NEW OWNERS so disregard all old reviews here. The owner said he doesn't have a YELP profile yet. I saw good reviews on google and other sites so if you are considering maybe check out those. My review: Gourmet pizza (like Terroni where the owner worked) is missing in Etobicoke. My expectations were high and he far exceeded them. The quality of the ingredients comes through in the sauce, the dough, the salad and more and I will return again and again. The arugula was way better than anything I can buy at the grocery store. Best pizza in Toronto, if you like Neapolitan style pizza it's very similar but much better. Great flavour in the dough and was cooked to perfection. The very centre of the pie is a little bit wet like a traditional Neapolitan but the rest of the slice was very crispy. High quality ingredients make each bite super flavourful. Love the atmosphere of the place too, very welcoming and quaint. I also had their square slice which was amazing as well, nice crunch on the crust and the dough is very light and bouncy. I've been to places like north of Brooklyn, maker pizza, and queen margarita, Capi's blows them all out of the water in my opinion. if you love pizza you will not be disappointed. the people who work there are very friendly and my pizza came out in about ten minutes (maybe less) could not recommend this place more. read more

This place has been my favourite since I was a kid. Even though the owners have changed, the quality of food is absolutely outstanding for an Italian take out ristorante. Crispy, thin pizza! Ps. The current owners are very friendly and welcoming, makes you feel at home. They make outstanding PHO soup, secrete family recipe, as well as delicious wonton soup. Best pie in Etobicoke, hands down. Thin and crispy crust, not soggy like Neapolitan pizza. We got the "custom" with the kids option which had no herbs, and my daughter loved it. We had the Tartuffa (white pizza/w mushrooms) unreal. Simple but the flavour was awesome. Looking forward to the next visit. read more

Capi's is a small restaurant ( I dont think a lot of people actually EAT here, it's more of a takeout place) so don't expect too much when you walk in. It's kinda dingy. BUT....to redeem itself, it had a downhome italian woman running it who had no problem explaining her opinions to us. AND the pizza was good. Really really good. I can't remember what we had (I think the name had something to do with an autumn harvest, but it was in italian so I can't really be sure). Capers, olives, cheese, sausage.....very yummy. So, if i lived closer I'd probably be doing their takeout, but too far to drive back to. Good pizza though. read more

This is a neighborhood icon. It is miles better than nearby places like Vesuvios, Lenny's or the chains like Mama's or Pizza Nova. The owners may be new, but the pies have not changed. The ingredients are high quality and liberally added. We order from here about once a week. The new Vietnamese additions to the menu are great and authentic - try the banh mi or the Pho. These additions are a solid plus to the food offerings in our area. I cannot recommend this place enough - this is a small family run business that serves up great food on a consistent basis. I tried this place for the first time tonight. I thought this pizza was great! My boyfriend hates a lot of the generic pizza places(pizza pizza, Pizza Hut etc..) he barely eats more than a slice or two. Tonight he had a lot! I was happy he finally enjoyed pizza as much as me. After a recent ownership change the name has been changed to CIAO SAIGON. The name gives it away - pizza and pho on the same menu. The pizza is really good but the Pho is phenomenal! My son is a Pho-natical about the broth and accompaniments. He rates the broth as 9/10 and the noodles/meat an 8/10 - the latter only because there wasn't enough noodles! Next time we'll ask for more. No more long drives to Chinatown or Mississauga - this is at Royal York and Dundas. For great Pho and for those who like Pizza you won't be disappointed either. We are going to be regulars... for both! read more

That is not an Italian sandwich! Used to love Capi's Veal on a Kaiser - no more. Not on fresh bread, not a kaiser. The meat used to hang out of the sandwich - not this time, tiny little bite size pieces of veal barely covered in sauce. And a couple raw onion and green pepper slices. Nothing like it used to be, nothing like a good Italian Sandwich should be. We also ordered a pasta dish, again not the flavours it should have been. Won't order again. Wouldn't recommend it either. If you want a thin crust pizza it is good, not the best but good. I wouldn't put more than a couple of toppings or it won't hold them when you pick it up. DELIVERY TIME WAS HORRIBLE!! One hr twenty minutes for a 16" pepperoni pizza with extra cheese ($22.50 + tip) and we were a 12 min drive from there location. read more

Anna runs the restaurant and she serves great food. Me and my family have been going to Capi's for over 10 years and the food is always great. They usually have slices for take-out with a thin crust. They also have a number of other items on the menu. Their veal sandwich is great, I enjoy the Caesar salad and they have a variety of pasta dishes to choice from. It is a nice cozy atmosphere. Although it is geared towards take-out there is a an area to sit and eat that holds at least a dozen people. I must add that they make gourmet pizza, they have a variety of drinks including the traditional Italian ones and liquour. You can even get an espresso. They prefer cash but they will also take credit cards if you ask. read more

NEW OWNERS!! The lady who used to own the place wasn't always in a great mood but I liked her, and her food was great for the money. For the money, she used good ingredients and wasn't stingy. The new owners were very sweet but my veal sandwich had no flavour, basically no sauce, no cheese or peppers, and was on a grocery store bun. The feta cheese on my Greek salad was rank, so I threw the whole thing out. I also paid 10.15 where I used to pay 16, and was exponentially happier. The biggest let down of all, is that the incredible, amazing, impossible to recreate salad dressing is gone. I guess the old owner took it with her :( read more

Ordered delivery pizza from here, a large bacon, pepperoni with extra cheese. It was incredibly greasy and soggy, so much so that the toppings were sliding off the crust. I will not order from here ever again. read more
