We can tell our kids are going to learn quick with the way both Nicole and Minh are coaching; just the right tone in gaining new skills each day. It's not overwhelming for our kids whatsoever. We're so happy we chose this facility and team to guide our kids in learning how to swim. I highly recommend families coming here to enroll their young ones for a nice swimming session/plan. He's incredibly patient, encouraging, and knows exactly how to build a child's confidence in the water. Every lesson is structured, engaging, and tailored to my daughter's pace, which has helped her make noticeable progress while actually enjoying swim class. As a parent, I really appreciate how clearly he communicates and how much he genuinely cares about each child's success. If you're looking for a swim instructor who is skilled, supportive, and great with young kids, I highly recommend asking for Jacob at Star Aquatics!

IMO to compare with Citisport about cleanliness: CTS 9/10 - VLS 10/10, equipment: CTS 10/10 - VLS 8/10. Price 5x time difference. Imagine paying $175/month ($6/day) seem not too much for an individual to breakdown and think about, slowly more people will sign up mainly for working out purposes than other relaxing activities, the GYM sooner or later will be busy. I've visited Villasport and Citisport in both the same hours during different times of the day, and the crowds are not much different. But for the price it is. Paying $175 monthly and must wait for machines to break the workout momentum is pretty sad and upsetting, innit? Then 10pm its already closed... weekends are 2pm... Overall I'd personally think $75/month is fair. For $175/month, hours should be extended, and equipment should be more balanced. The way I see this fitness is built was to target older wealthy people 45+ years old. However, as I come here I see more of the younger ones than the older ones.

Aqua Blue Pools re-plastered (NPT StoneScapes "Tropics Blue" - Collection: Small Puerto Rico Blend)…read moreand re-tiled our pool recently, and did a fabulous job. They worked efficiently and minimized the mess associated with such extensive concrete/plaster removal, cleaning up the deck area and existing hardscape daily. Pool rust issues, which proved to be more extensive than appeared when the job was bid, were mitigated thoroughly with no additional charges. It initially appeared that there were two rust areas but four were uncovered as plaster removal proceeded. Ernesto Vega, project manager, was really great to work with and quickly responded to our concerns as they arose (phone or text to him works fastest!). Aqua Blue Pools were very competitive with the other four bids we received, although a big factor in selecting them was that they had just completed our neighbor's pool and they are really happy with the results (pool looks beautiful). The whole job took only 2 1/2 weeks even though work stopped 4 days for the Thanksgiving holiday. We are only three days into the startup process to establish the correct water chemistry and the pool, which looked great once Aqua Blue finished the job, is looking even better each day as the water color becomes more correct. BTW, be aware that the water out of the tap looks really odd when first added to the pool, like green swamp water in our location, until the chemical startup is complete (about one or two weeks) and the water chemistry is correct.

For other swim teams at the meets, their coaches were there watching each kid and giving them improvement advice and cheering them on right there after their swim. No wonder swimmers from other teams all have very similar swim style while SUNN swimmers pretty much have to pick it up or figure it out on their own. I watched very closely each time as I had to be the volunteer timer at these meets. I pulled my kids out after 1+ year as I don't see much stroke or time improvement. Very disappointed that it didn't turn out to be what we heard.

During school weekdays hours and schedule can vary based on visits. This is why I'm at 4 stars vs 5 as normally closes early in sept vs later in October. Swim lessons available thru summer in 2 week intervals with 1 week off during summer. Mini playground, grass area for games and netting for volleyball. Great for parties and gatherings and you can reserve in advance.

What I really appreciate about Ariel is how well he adjusts each session based on how I'm feeling and performing that day, while still keeping my long-term progress in mind. Every workout feels challenging and satisfying, but never so overwhelming that I can't finish it. Sometimes I feel like he knows what I'm capable of better than I do myself! Since I started training with Ariel, I've increased my deadlift from less than my body weight to 1.25x my body weight. That's something I probably would never have attempted on my own because I wouldn't have felt comfortable taking the risk without proper guidance. With Ariel's coaching, I feel much more confident challenging myself, lifting heavier, and pushing my limits while still feeling safe. Looking back over the past six months, I can clearly see that I've been making steady progress, and that's exactly what I wanted from personal training. When I first walked into the center, it didn't feel especially welcoming, just pretty standard. It was around 9am and a bit noisy, almost like a street market. I noticed a pile of dirty towels sitting out. The women's locker room was okay, nothing dirty, but it felt a little dated and could use a refresh. A lot of the ladies were chatting, and it reminded me of a middle school locker room. The MixxedFit class itself, though, was amazing. The energy in the room was great and everyone seemed genuinely excited to be there. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. I'll definitely come back for another MixxedFit class with Javier.
