    Pickleball court

Pickleball courts. That's enough for 5 stars. Both courts gated, next to clean bball hoops. Grassy area. Sandy playground. Enough for everyone. I love it. Bathrooms are above average when I say clean, it's got toilet paper and seat covers!

Peter T. Gill Memorial Park is a small neighborhood park in Milpitas. it's a small grass area surrounded by many amendities: children's playground, basketball court, picnic tables with bbq pits, softball field, grass, and a traiways leading elsewhere. small parking area where the basketball court is.

We've been to the tennis courts twice now on Saturday afternoons and most of the courts have been free both days which is rare for tennis courts! This park is extremely out of the way from where we live, but I love that they're always empty and clean. It's nice that there are 3 courts at this park since most parks usually only have 2 courts. The only thing that would make these courts better is if there was a fence separating the individual courts so tennis balls wouldn't roll onto other courts.

Restrooms are above average as far as public restrooms in community parks go. Men and women each have a single stall, open-ish ceiling with fully stocked toilet paper, seat liners, and hand soap. What more could you ask for?! Park (& restroom) Hours = Dawn to 10:00pm daily

The most beautiful park I have seen in Milpitas so far. Yesterday I went for a picnic during my lunch break and my colleague and I adored every minute of our visit, especially because we were NOT the only ones carrying one of those cute wicker baskets but also because the walking path was so long we could not finish. So we ate and exercise in a very nice surrounding. What a great combo, totally recommendable. The park is super clean, it was picture perfect. Manicured grass, well cut plants and trees, combination of shade areas and pure down the sun spots with lots of trash cans and also a very decent bathroom. Covered and uncovered BBQ areas as well as tennis courts and areas to practice other sports. This is the ideal park and the houses nearby are so lucky to be in such ideal location.

It's a great place for some outdoor activities. Great trail nearby for walking. The play structure is decent and have sand as well for some sand play.

This park is GREAT! It has everything! Large baseball field where you can close all the gates and dugouts and let your dogs run around (it's like an unofficial dog park depending what time of day you go) and I haven't stepped on any poop so I'm assuming dog owners are pretty responsible around here. POOP bags, THICK poop bags are available at certain spots around the park and they refill them Water fountains! Basketball courts, tennis courts, walking paths, picnic tables, shade, wall for hand ball, benches, bleachers, play ground areas with sand, parking lot and street parking, bathrooms! Vending machines. Overall clean, trash bins are never overflowing with trash like some other parks, and overall not ghetto considering the houses surrounding it are nice.

    Playground next to baseball field.

Great, large park. Tennis courts (always in use, so get here early, very early), tennis walls and basket ball court. Large baseball field, plus tremendous amount of open field for soccer, volleyball, etc. Also has two playgrounds plus covered and uncovered BBQ areas. Next to slightly busy streets, so keep an eye on the kids.

Start line, reciprocal energy 5k/10k races

With an upcoming play date planned between myself and a gf, I was happy that this particular park was picked for our meet up. First things first, this park is MASSIVE! Delano Manongs Park is broken into 10 parts- YES, I SAID 10!! This includes a small and large dog park, multiple gardens, a fitness station, and a number of play structures to keep all your little munchkins happily occupied. The park is very well kept, the restrooms are very doable, and with its large size, there isn't that congested feeling you get with other locations. On top of the many perks, there is a large field to kick or throw around a few balls. The only flaw- and might I add that it is a big one- is the lack of actual shade. Your relief from the sun's powerful rays is limited to the gazebo where the benches are or using the large flower structures as a shield. 5/5 stars all in all. This is lots of fun for kids of all ages.

The signs point toward the hill like you can drive up the unpaved path but don't. The actual entrance actually has the Dragon Mountain sign with a paved parking lot further down the narrow road marked "private property." There's a blue boat in the parking lot. Two ways to get up to the monastery: hike up the long driveway or stairs next to it OR drive up the winding road. There's very limited parking at the top. Stairs have some steep sections. Free incense to light at any of the incense stations in front of the diety statues. They had free water bottles. No food ro purchase so bring snacks if you plan to stay long but don't litter. There were a couple of areas away from the main lot that are great for meditation. You can hike up higher, above the Mother Earth temple. Very clean. They have a public restroom.

The first part is all stairs, after reaching the end of maybe about 200 flights, we arrived at a lawn patch with some big Chinese gods statues and a panel about Jesus. There's one man there burning the incense to pay respect but mostly it was just visitors checking out the place like visiting a museum than worshipping gods. This spot also has a restroom. Then there're more stairs up, and soon transitions to uphill trails with big patches of grass growing along sides. No cows or other animals insight. To our left is the beautiful valley and a dropping sun. When the wind blows, it was beautiful and magical. As we continued the climb and reached the top where there are a lot of smaller porcelain statues displayed on top of poles. It was super windy up there so we didn't linger. Going down was much quicker. There's a portion of the trail where it was slippery with gravel, fortunately, next to it there's a flight of stairs for easier walking and the steps are not that high. By the time we got down to the first gods lawn, there's a security car probably clearing out the place. A car just arrived and was told to turn back because they were closing. We were all very satisfied with this hike.

We wanted to find a park that is relatively new/in good condition and not too crowded to let the little ones safely play. I'm honestly surprised that this isn't a more popular place to bring your kids. I suppose a part of it is because it is a neighborhood park without dedicated parking, although there is plenty of street parking. With that being said, the play area is gated so it is safe to let your children roam with supervision, the play structures are all in very good condition and the padded flooring is intact across the park. Very suitable for toddlers and older children, they even have a baby changing station inside of the bathroom, as well as adequate drinking fountains and drinking fountains for dogs. We were there on a Saturday morning, from 9 to 10am and were the only family there the entire time. This is completely different compared to some of the other parks in Sunnyvale or San Jose, where it can become a zoo by that time. We will definitely be setting up future play dates here.

Definitely meant for the surrounding neighborhoods. There are multiple entrances but are basically towards the end of each street. It seems dog friendly enough with a dog enclosure and easy to stroll around and walk your dog. There's a nice grassy area in the center and I noticed a few instances of owners playing catch with their dogs off-leash. There are picnic tables by the playground and public bathrooms all in the same area. The only water fountain I found was by the picnic/playground/bathroom area and it had a lower fountain for dogs. **Dog park: The dog area was really small, all dirt with one bench. Big dog and small dog are separated but the size is pretty similar to each other with the big dog having just a LITTLE bit more space. It was empty for me except for 1 dog owner but I wonder if there would be more dogs after-work hours for some socialization :-) you would have to walk a little but further down to the main area for water fountain.
