Has a meat section, and a fish section. The produce is better at Sundance, but the wide range of foods keeps me shopping here more often.

Their selection of special diet items is definitely better than market of choice, kiva, and sundance combined.

After a rainy day filled with great brewery visits, we looked for somewhere to eat and an Indian…read morefood truck popped up with great reviews nearby. Our visit ended up being one of the most memorable stops of the whole trip. This neighborhood grocery story store leans into South Asian food, but with all the usual American staples. The food truck is outside, and all done by one chef. That's to say, the food is made fresh and patience is needed. Thankfully, inside that had a great selection of local and international beer so I bought a 6-pack for us to enjoy while we waited. There were also colorful characters enjoying food and drinks outside who talked with us at length. It was really pleasant to be able to wait comfortably. If you're nearby and looking for light groceries or amazing Indian food, it's worth your time to visit!

The staff is so nice and the food was incredible. I got the butter chicken and naan. It was a huge portion, made fresh, and had such good flavor. The chicken was tender, the rice was fluffy, and there was a nice crunchy cucumber, carrot and onion salad that was fresh and tasty. I got it on the mild side of medium, but next time I'll get it a bit spicier. Check out the market while you wait for your food too! A great find in the neighborhood, and I'll be back for sure!

Parking is a little janky if you're not used to the area, but this grocery store is otherwise a hidden gem! It might be run of the mill for locals; I'm not sure if this is a large chain that's all over the place or if it's less common, but the produce, meat, and cheese departments blew me away. I just want to rave a bit about this particular section of the store - most everything else was similar to what your expect. I've never seen such a large selection of items in a grocery store deli before... it was honestly slightly overwhelming to pick just a few items to try. There are individually wrapped chunks of tons of different types of cheeses, dried meats and prepackaged ones, accoutrements like breadsticks, olives, mini jelly and jam jars, and more. It was amazing. The bakery case was a whole other story... I have the biggest sweet tooth and can't get enough of baked goods, and their displays were absolutely gorgeous. I unfortunately didn't purchase anything from this section, but I can only imagine it's delicious lol. Checking out was easy as it usually is when grocery shopping and the lady that helped me out was friendly, so I really had absolutely nothing to complain about during my extremely brief visit to this super cool store.

Over priced. Poor baked goods. They need some training. I usually shop at another market (wf) if…read moreI buy something there and like it and see it at MOC it's never good.

There are at least half the amount of product as previously stocked, and the staff is way less knowledgeable. I loved the previous staff as they were happy to spend time and make quality recommendations regarding the issue that I was experiencing . They truly seemed well informed, and I trusted them with their recommendations. The current staff person I worked with, while friendly, was not knowledgeable, and I did not have confidence in their recommendation. I will most likely not be frequent this location further due to this. I am sad that a Eugene staple is gone.

It's my sister's favorite butcher shop though, and when I'm going to make a pot roast I want to use the best meat, so we stopped by here. It was larger and more spacious than a lot of butchers which I appreciated--often they're super crowded. The area where you enter has a nice selection of cheese and wines as well as some other foods. The staff was friendly and helpful. ETA: Today when I started to make my pot roast, imagine my surprise when I found that I had two chuck steaks... not really super conducive to pot roast, and a little annoying since I asked for chuck roast. I've been to other butchers and asked for chuck roast and never been given bone-in chuck steak. This isn't something I could use because it wouldn't fit into the pot and I couldn't cut it with the bone in, so I had to go buy another $40 of meat at Albertson's. Not sure that I'll be returning to Long's. Hope my sister can use the meat so it won't be a total waste of the $30 I spent here.
