I was prescribed a minoxidil topical solution from this office, and it caused a significant…read moreallergic reaction on my scalp. Despite this, both the dermatologist and the medical assistants insisted that the reaction could not have been caused by the product and advised me to resume using it once the irritation cleared. I followed their instructions, and as soon as I reapplied the solution, my scalp broke out in the exact same reaction the very next day. Even after experiencing two identical reactions within four weeks--each occurring immediately after using the topical--everyone I spoke with continued to dismiss the obvious connection and suggested the cause was something else I was doing. It is extremely clear that the reaction was caused by the product they prescribed, yet throughout every conversation, the staff didn't to acknowledge this possibility. The unwillingness to take my concerns seriously was very frustrating.

Didn't call with a reminder and then automatically charged me $75 without warning for missing an appointment. Sent me a rudely worded letter informing me of the charge and on the letter they stated they called me twice. I was talking to my husband and he figured it out that they called his cell but his phone flagged as potential spam so he never listened to the message. I called and they wouldn't wave the fee. Just said they have a service that makes the calls and they don't know what to say. Clearly it's a silly mix up and there were mistakes on both sides so I would expect some understanding. But nope so I won't be back.

My 3rd or 4th visit today in I think a span of 5 yrs? …read more I'll start this review with the fact that I spent years as a major sun worshiper, then tanning bed devotee always trying for the perfect -well, what I thought at the time was the perfect tan. More like leather So needless to say a LOT of damage was done. Neverending it seems. With the accumulation as it is I should be seeing a Dermatologist yearly. So that sounds good ... But " Chicken -Me" is an entirely different story! Nervous with raging anxiety, as soon as I got out of my parked car my knees started buckling... Thinking what will they find this time? Entering it's very clear that they are following all mandates during the pandemic. I shared the sparse waiting area with only one other person. . chairs are at opposite sides of the room. I felt completely safe. My actual wait time was at best 10 minutes. I was called in by a friendly assistant and taken to the exam room. Within no more than 5 minutes my exam began. I saw Nelya Christiansen PA-C . She is an absolute delight. She introduced herself and went over any concerns I had. Obviously she could see all the flaws, etc but was completely non- judgemental and took the time to listen to me. There wasnt any condescending attitude from her and I felt like I was in great hands - completely comfortable I won't go into the diagnosis or treatment. But what she did today was painless... Let me state that again - PAINLESS and basically done so quickly, I didn't really have much time to think about it .. Over in no time. How cool is that! Leaving, she again reiterated what was discussed and treatment and gave me the decision on when to return - which I prefer. I will definitely refer people to her! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!
