My 3rd or 4th visit today in I think a span of 5 yrs? . I'll start this review with the fact that I spent years as a major sun worshiper, then tanning bed devotee always trying for the perfect -well, what I thought at the time was the perfect tan. More like leather So needless to say a LOT of damage was done. Neverending it seems. With the accumulation as it is I should be seeing a Dermatologist yearly. So that sounds good ... But " Chicken -Me" is an entirely different story! Nervous with raging anxiety, as soon as I got out of my parked car my knees started buckling... Thinking what will they find this time? Entering it's very clear that they are following all mandates during the pandemic. I shared the sparse waiting area with only one other person. . chairs are at opposite sides of the room. I felt completely safe. My actual wait time was at best 10 minutes. I was called in by a friendly assistant and taken to the exam room. Within no more than 5 minutes my exam began. I saw Nelya Christiansen PA-C . She is an absolute delight. She introduced herself and went over any concerns I had. Obviously she could see all the flaws, etc but was completely non- judgemental and took the time to listen to me. There wasnt any condescending attitude from her and I felt like I was in great hands - completely comfortable I won't go into the diagnosis or treatment. But what she did today was painless... Let me state that again - PAINLESS and basically done so quickly, I didn't really have much time to think about it .. Over in no time. How cool is that! Leaving, she again reiterated what was discussed and treatment and gave me the decision on when to return - which I prefer. I will definitely refer people to her! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! read more

I have been here several times and they are just consistently overbooked and running way behind. There is no communication upon check in that the provider will be running late, in some instances, almost an hour behind your scheduled appointment time (and these have been for 9 am visits!). I understand providers are busy and fall behind scheduled appointment times but, in my opinion, 40 minutes to an hour past your appointment time for at least two consecutive visits is unacceptable. read more

My 6 year old son's pediatrician sent him to this place to check out a lump on his collar bone. The woman (not a doctor) who seen my child, had the nerve to feel around and then ask me, "Do you mean his bone?" As if the pediatrician and I didn't understand basic anatomy. I was still very polite and actually in a great mood because I was happy to possibly finally get this lump checked out. So, I showed her where the lump was and she says, "I know you're frustrated that there is nothing there..." I walked out. This lump is quite noticeable and I didn't go there for her to determine IF a lump is there. I went to find out what it was. She spent a whole 2 minutes in the room and maybe 10 seconds feeling around for the lump. This place really wanted us in and out. Quality of care is horrible. Place is clean and the front desk staff is kind and very polite. read more

I highly recommend anyone that has any skin issues or conditions to see Eileen Cheever PA-C at Dr. Rockoff center. She has been a life changer for my daughter and managing her skin conditions. She is professional, knowledgeable, and up to date on all new medications and skin modalities. She is wonderful at establishing a relationship with her patients where parents and children feel like they always have someone to call for a resource when dealing with issues of the skin. I highly highly recommend Eileen Cheever PA-C. I scheduled an appointment with her to discuss some skin issues I was concerned about regarding little bumps I noticed on my stomach area. Eileen was great in educating me on what they were and made me feel comfortable and confident that they were benign cysts that shouldn't be of concern. I wish my experience was like the other reviewers. Have been to The Rockoff Center a handful of times and I do not find the nurse/PA, Eileen, to be thorough at all. I get the sense that she is the only one seeing patients. She's rushed, doesn't listen, and talks over you. Her course of treatment is also significantly different than our previous dermatologist (who no longer takes our insurance, unfortunately). She switched my child's acne medication and now the breakouts are worse than ever. I've tried getting an appointment with Dr. Rockoff himself, but when we arrived at the office found that we were seeing the nurse/PA again. read more

Absurdly long wait times. The staff was not helpful and I left after waiting over an hour past my scheduled appointment, without even having seen the doctor or his assistant. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I would highly recommend the Physician Assistant Eileen. She was very thorough and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to address my issue. I have also seen Mary in the laser department who is also wonderful and very experienced. Beautiful waiting room, friendly staff, timely appointments. read more

I have been to countless dermatologists over the years, and quite frankly had given up. I decided to give a new one a shot. I was referred to the Rockoff Center from a Facebook referral page and had an appointment with Eileen Cheever. I can't say enough about her. She is warm, kind, extremely thorough and very patient. I never felt rushed...she took the time to fully explain things to me and gave me helpful solutions. I would more than recommend Eileen and their office to anyone in search of a great dermatologist. read more

I have not been happy with the care my daughter has been receiving from the nurse/PA ,Eileen Cheever. She took over after my daughter had first been seen by Dr. Rockoff. He felt her acne just needed topical and no reason to do oral medicine. She was actually doing well but her back was still persistent. The next visit was with Eileen who decides to put my daughter on a "low dose" antibiotic. Her skin got worse so she ups dosage. And this visit, changes prescription, when my daughter just wanted a different cream. Now she upped the dosage again and changed all the creams. She is way too prescription pill happy and doesn't ask any of the right questions. Definitely don't recommend! read more
