NICE WINERY IN CAPE VINCENT ==========================…read more My husband and I popped in on November 15, 2024 and I did a little tasting. See my list. I can't remember the prices for the tasting, but it wasn't bad. I tasted quite a few. The double pressed grapes aren't really my cup of tea, but I am sure someone must like those. I ended up buying about four bottles of wine to go. A couple were given to my son's friends. Definitely check it out if you are in the area to see the Lighthouse. Call ahead to make sure they are open.

As I pulled in I had to do a double take, a winery and Large Garden Center! They had a food truck on site and outdoor patio seating as well! The gentleman working the bar area was very cordial and informative. A tasting of six wines for $7. I was given a couple of extra tastings that were not on my list, bonus! Vidal Blanc , and Bubbly River Rose were two of my favorites. This is definitely a hot spot for locals many coming in with their wine slushy cups that were being dished out like hot cakes! Beer on tap as well. Amazing selection of plants, flowers, trees, and more! I went home with a couple bottles of wine and came back Monday for an enormous and stunning hanging plant! Wine, flowers, and plants all in one location! You had me at Hello!

You can try three samples of what is on the menu for free. We did just that. Due to covid we were required to buy a packet of pretzels for a buck. I selected cherry moonshine, lemonade moonshine and no 99 bourbon mash. I was a fan of all three. I particularly enjoyed the No99 Bourbon mash After you try your samples you can browse around and shop. Since I really enjoyed my tasting of No 99 Bourbon Mash I purchase a small bottle for $10. On this hot summer day, they were offering whisky slushes. It was such a refreshing treat!

Happened by on a weekend when it was surprisingly not busy compared to a prior weekend visit when it was slammed. The owner, Gail, loves dogs and rescues them on her property. We started to think she might want to keep our dog as an add-on! An adjoining patio is perfect to sip your wine on when the weather's nice or the inside is filled. Great selection of dry whites that hold their own. Finding decent dry white wine can be challenging, so this was a most pleasant surprise. Beverages for everyone apart from wines. Accessible by boat or car makes this a unique winery pretty much anywhere.
