The gentleman working the bar area was very cordial and informative. A tasting of six wines for $7. I was given a couple of extra tastings that were not on my list, bonus! Vidal Blanc , and Bubbly River Rose were two of my favorites. This is definitely a hot spot for locals many coming in with their wine slushy cups that were being dished out like hot cakes! Beer on tap as well. Amazing selection of plants, flowers, trees, and more! I went home with a couple bottles of wine and came back Monday for an enormous and stunning hanging plant! Most wines are semi sweet to sweet wines, and offer one dry. The cold climate dictates what grapes are able to be grown in the region. I'm a semi sweet girl so the wines are perfect for me. Staff was friendly and offered generous pores during tasting! Wine slushies are also available and old fashioned sodas they also make, that look so fun! I purchased a bottle of Wooly White and a gift item. There is also a gift shop next door that sells locally made soaps, candles, and other novelties. Negatives? 1) They close at 9 pm. 2) Mosquitos are horrible. Friends stood in line for 45 minutes. 4) No outside lights. Very dark outside once they close at 9 pm. Should have some pole lights or solar lights along the walkway so people can see when they leave. A slip and fall waiting to happen. 5) Only one flavor of non alcoholic slushi......after six years. You can tell they know what they're talking about! Very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection, definitely something for everyone, including a decent selection of dry reds, which is what I prefer, but I'm finding is relatively rare for local wineries in this region of NY. So that was exciting for me! We always see them at local events around the community, which is great! I love seeing businesses supporting their surrounding communities and working hard to share their passion. Also, if you get a chance to stop by in the fall or if you see them at any autumn events, you HAVE to try their mulled wine! They make it using their own wine and they'll give you the recipe so you can make it at home too.
