Then we walked to the counter. Note: we are both 48 years old and clearly not underage. But we understand NYS law. When we both provided ID she asked whose card we were paying with. When I asked what difference it made since we are married, she just laughed and said "I just like to match the card with the ID". Okay. I decided at that point to pay with cash because I honestly didn't want anymore to do with her situation. I handed her $40 and she proceeded to inspect my bills like they're fake. Look, I get it, there is a lot of theft out there. But you should use discretion when running a business. Clearly we don't fit your criminal little profile, so lay off. I have shopped at Arsenal Wine and Liquor for over a decade. Within the last year, I have run into…read moreproblems with deliveries and employees. It isn't bad enough that their deliveries are always a problem but their employees are very unhelpful. If I didn't want one particular spirit that only they sell, I would not shop there. Let me give you the rundown. Everytime I order a delivery, something is always wrong. At -10 degrees, I don't want to go out to shop in store or do a pickup. So, I ordered a delivery. When it was half an hour after it was scheduled to be delivered and still had not shown up, I called. The employee who answered the phone told me that it was ready for pickup. I told him that I had paid for delivery. We went back and forth for a while before he decided to check with another employee. He was told that it was a delivery order. Then, he told me that no one was available to deliver it at that time. By the time I received the order, it was over an hour late. Good thing it was nothing that I needed right away. Prior to this, I had tried to use the free delivery offer that I received in my email. When I started to checkout, it showed that I had to pay for delivery. I called the store to ask about this issue. The employee I spoke with told me that they could not do anything about the delivery charge because it was offered through a different company. That was it. Tough luck. We lied. We don't care. We just collect the money. At this point, I want to reach out to tell others how bad the service at Arsenal Wine and Liquor is. Personally, I will start looking for other stores that might have a different spirit that I don't mind even if I can't buy the one that I really want. So, good luck with deliveries from Arsenal Wine & Liquor. Good luck finding any helpful employees. Don't expect much because you will not get much. Yes, I will be writing reviews about City Hive, the delivery company, at Trustpilot and Sitejabber.

On or around March 9 in the early evening my wife and I go into Liquor City just to buy a bottle of rum; Cashier starts to ring it up, I swipe my credit card, screen says Approved, then the cashier tells me the register computer "froze" and I need to go to a different register :/ but a nice young Lady comes and advises to come her register, and she rings me up. Right after I swipe my credit card and it gets Approved again, the first cashier comes over and says stop, you have to scan this void receipt first or it will mess up the system, so then she voids my order, scans the void receipt then her computer freezes W T H Then the first cashier tells her something like she should have known better, and walks away to get the manager or something- at this point I felt like enough was enough, keep your rum and make sure I dont get charged. I'm intentually leaving out details because its not my job to audit their staff or procedures (so dont tell me to "get my facts straight" because I'm not going for perfect accuracy just telling what happened to me a couple weeks ago when I had the chance to do it i.e. do not ask me their names) I'm giving 2 stars because previous experiences were good, so you all have at least a 1 in 10 chance - however they certainly won't see me again
