There's no front desk -- everything is handled by text -- but the staff was quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay, even though we didn't have any issues. Our room (201) was large, clean, and nicely designed, with a full (albeit abbreviateD) kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of space to hang out. The balcony had a beautiful view of the sunset and was one of our favorite parts of the stay. One parking space is included and it's a very easy walk to either the beach or town for shopping or food. It's probably (definitely) on the higher end price-wise during the summer, but for a fall weekend, it was ideal: quiet, comfortable, and close to everything.

The heated salt water pool even in early May felt so nice. Wonderful relaxing atmosphere. The fire pits were also relaxing and easy to use. Lokal is steps away from the beach which is fantastic. Would love to visit during peak season to use the provided beach tags and service available. It is also close to many bars and restaurants that are walkable. The TV's on the first floor both had DVD player attached. The most fun was out on the porch, comfy furniture, very relaxing. The house was super clean including the bathrooms, so I would stay there again.

For those looking for vintage Victorian charm, you will be pleased with this property. The location cannot be beat, the entire historic district is a very short walk. The beach is not much farther. We stayed in the Renaissance room, a very comfy and roomy king. These were definitely two of the best night's sleep we've had in recent times! The breakfast service here is really excellent with several menu choices. They will also accommodate a range of custom requests (obviously within reason). The staff was great throughout our stay and everything is well thought out. One caveat here is the no parking on premises, there are however parking options close by. We were able to get free on street parking a short walk away. Loading and unloading at the property is also easy. Highly recommend!!

The bedroom balcony was huge and beautiful, affording me a panoramic view of the ocean 24/7. At night I kept the balcony door open and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean roaring across the way. Everything I needed was inside the room - kitchenette, large shower, smart tv, lamps, extra lighting, and lots of towels. The innkeeper Liza is such a beautiful person and extended herself to me beyond what I expected. I wasn't sure how to get there and she offered to pick me up from the station - so sweet. I love her! I ended up driving in but it's the thought that counts. It's not every day that people offer things they don't have to do. The beach is clean and felt really private in October. I'm sure the summer is more packed, but it can't be that bad because Cape May itself is just beautiful. There are restaurants, clothes, souvenirs and so much more to do on that strip. I can't wait to go back there.

As for location, this beach house is exactly where you want to be. There is only one road between you and the beach and it can't get much better than that. You can spend hours just in front of the 931 swimming or looking for shells. As for activities close to the beach house, there are tons. Everything in Cape May is in walking distance or a very short minute or 2 drive away. There's museums, an arcade, tours, shops, and a lot of local restaurants that will fit anyone's needs. Most of these are right down the street from you, so if you feel like it, you can walk the beach on your way to lunch. For 931 it's self we were more than pleased. It's a very cute Victorian style house that has a modern beach theme on the inside. The rooms are a good size, beds are comfy, and every space has a decent kitchen. Everything is decorated very well and doesn't feel tacky or cluttered. The rooms are well separated and you don't feel too close to any other guests. It's a nice relaxing stay for everyone involved. Overall, 931 Beach House is a cute home that has a lot to offer. It's comfortable and in a great location. Also the people that run the house were amazing and fun to talk too. If you are ever in the area and need a place to stay I highly recommend this one. I know we will be back!
