We're in the market for a kitchen backsplash to finish our renovations. We got 5 samples of tile from Home Depot, most arrived chipped and broken. Not to be discouraged, we decided to nix the big box brand and shop local. My parents purchased their kitchen floor here years ago, and the service hasn't wavered a bit. Their showroom is extensive, and you're greeted upon arrival. Betty quickly honed in on what we were looking for, and took us straight to the section that could meet our needs. After showing her the granite we already have, she brought out several samples and a few that varied a bit from what we said we were looking for. Well, we brought a sample home, and the one we fell in love with was actually quite different than what we thought we were looking for! They have a huge array of products at different prices. Our selection just happened to be on the low end, at $11/sq. ft. Some other marble tiles we viewed were as much as $50/sq. ft. You definitely get what you pay for - $11 was a little more than we were looking at from Home Depot but the quality of the product and the service were so much higher at Cloutier, it's worth it!

I found Flanagan's online and told my husband who decided to got to a chain mattress store instead…read more We get to said chain store and tell the guy what we want, the salesman tells us "you should go to Flanagan Mattress just down the street." My husband got the "I told you so" look. We walked in and told the owner we wanted a new futon mattress, just the mattress. "No problem" he tells us and shows us a blue one he had in stock. What are the chances we wanted a blue one. We bought it and tossed it in the back of the truck. The whole time he was chatting with my husband who also owns a business about owning your own business. Super nice guy, fantastic price. Easiest transaction for a piece of furniture or a new mattress we have ever had. I honestly can't come up with a negative. A+ purchase.

Recently, we were helping my daughter with a small custom bath countertop in Milton. The advice on the stone and on going with a narrow backsplash that we got from Dan has really worked out. Even though the company doesn't do that kind of work, Dan was so patient in providing names of contractors whom he felt may take on the project. In addition, he suggested a couple of products to use. If you are an indication of the quality of the company, I'd go with your company any day!

Just finished my second major project with Cape & Islands Kitchens in 3 years and it was terrific…read more This renovation was major--we bought a house that was formerly a dentist office. Needed to add a kitchen and two full baths, as well as closets, move beam and add a laundry area. It came out fantastic. This group--from Tracey Perry's help with design (amazing!) to Mike Heinrich's detailed budget which they stuck to and Bill Schmidt's communication on every detail, it was actually a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this group. In between my two projects with Cape & Islands Kitchens I did another property with a well known, popular Falmouth builder (hint: begins with an "L"). It was a DISASTER. Do not be fooled by the lower initial numbers--you will pay in the end and the quality of work will suffer. I am so glad I was able to do this renovation with Cape & Islands Kitchens!

I was a bit shocked at first however they are doing a lot more work than I even imagined. Example; my home is antique and well over 100 years old. Reinforcing and leveling the floor took about 2 weeks but when the project was done the floor repair was totally necessary and added so much to the finished result. Also if you are hoping the project will be done in a few weeks, it might, however the bigger the project the more chance for delays. Pros: I was communicating with a team of extremely competent people. Each is a specialist in a narrow field. Greg has an incredible sense of design and really digs into the details. Sonja handles the crew that does the prep, construction and heavy lifting. Mylia coordinates all products to be ordered. Special shout out to Bill who handles anything going on with all the crews. He returns your text or call in a minute or less and remembers every detail of your project. No regrets for me.

We saw other similar chairs at the show but were impressed with the quality of Country Teak's products. The Chatham folding chair was just what we wanted. The fit and finish are outstanding. The teak is beautiful and sanded very smoothly. The chairs are very comfortable too. I can't say enough about how great is was to work with William. After our order we had questions and he always answered his phone personally and was very helpful. Shipping was quick and the chairs arrived in perfect condition. They were well packaged and it was obvious that someone at Country Teak had taken the time to open the box and inspect the chairs to make sure they were in great condition before shipping. It's unfortunately unusual today to do business with a company that provides great service, great products and great prices like Country Teak. Thank you William for your wonderful service and products.
