Chris and crew are competent, professional and above all they are very pleasant with costumers. At a time when finances are really stressed, employees are tough to come by and customer service as rare as finding pirate gold buried on the village green, Sia Optical stands out. Stop by Sia Optical and have a look and see for yourself how customers are treated. And yes, I am really a Sia customer. In fact I have 4 pairs of glasses from Sia....sunglasses, glasses glasses and a backup, and reading glasses. Prices are very reasonable. Much better than places in Mashpee Commons and other stores I shopped around in. I called multiple times to check on the status of my glasses and never received a call back. I finally was able to get through when someone answered the phone. Here's the biggest problem, I've been calling since August of this year to see how much it cost for an eye exam if you have no insurance. I left several messages and to this day, I have not received a call back. I have even left messages stating I wanted to schedule an eye exam and still haven't received a call back. I even went to their website and clicked on the link to schedule an appointment and STILL have not heard from them!!!!!

When I opened the last box of contacts, they were not correcting my vision. I had a problem with one or two lens from the other two boxes but those were defective and these just did not work. I figure it is a QA/QC issue with the manufacturer but when I called Advanced Eye Care, I was told by the office that this was not their problem. When I pressed them about it since these cost a lot of money, I was told they would not stand behind a box of contacts I had bought a year ago and then I was put on indefinite hold. The woman was rude and offensive. When I called the company (Coopervision) they said that the practice said I was due for another eye exam so they were not going to replace the defective box. They would give me 10 lens only--90 lens were in the box.
