I truly was ignoring her while waiting for her to complete my purchase. Well, another worker wasn't ignoring her and literally pulled her back with kinder words than I'd use. They're cheap and easy to find and will make the smoothies a lot easier to drink. Other than that minor complaint I like this store a lot and will continue to use them for new ideas. Last July while playing softball, I somehow injured the nerves in left foot. (at 74 years old not surprising). The pain was excruciating, like an electric shock in the back of my leg that radiated into my foot. And it kept me up every night, exhausting me the next day. I tried everything to soothe it, including pain patches, drugs, ibuprofen meloxicam, gabapentin, you name it. I also tried muscle stretching and rolling. deep tissue massage meditation.... nothing worked. But then, just last week while at Growing in Health, and told the proprietor, Dean Kennedy about the problem, asking if he could recommend some kind of CBD gel or cream. Dean is a great guy, a marine who was injured during his service and his using CBD to treat sciatica. He showed me a product called 'Biotech CBD Oil'. It seemed a little pricey, but being kind of desperate and trusting Dean's advice , I bought a jar of the stuff. I rubbed it into my foot that night. The unbelievable happened!. The nightly shocking pains just disappeared! I slept right through the night. and I've used it every night since. It basically transformed my life. Soon, I'll be seeing a neurologist about the injury to diagnose the root of the problem but until then, I can sleep, work out again, and it seems like a miracle. I can't thank Dean enough. I highly urge anyone who is suffering from muscle and or nerve pain to check out this store, talk with Dean about the possibilities for CBD in helping with alleviating pain, and helping to heal injuries. As a vegan, and someone with some health issues, I'm always looking for new health products to try. They had a great assortment of foods, supplements, pet supplies, protein, and body products. This place had a great selection, and the prices weren't too bad. In fact, they were having a sale so a lot of items were cheaper than online or at other health foods stores I've seen! I purchased an assortment of items, including an all natural deodorant. The woman working there was wonderful! I wish I remembered her name, but she was just the best! Anyways, upon checking out she asked if I've tried that deodorant before. I had, but not that particular scent. She asked if there were others I liked and I said yes. She pulled out a box and asked which scent and gave me a sample to take home! How sweet is that?! I know that sometimes scents smell good in the product, but can smell different mixed with our own body scents. So I'm glad i have two new ones to try! Then, my fiancé was talking to this same woman about some health issues he's been having. She offered suggestions on products to try and have him a few free samples as well!
