Full disclosure ... I did not get to use use the cleaning services offered here. This review is based on my experience with the business. I was renting a co-op sort of house where we all get two weeks in the summer and are responsible for arranging our own cleaning before we leave. The people who rent the weeks before us are both cheap ... and slobs. They 'semi' clean the house themselves to save money vs. hiring someone and do a poor job. So, we never trust them to clean well. This year, more than ever, we wanted a top to bottom cleaning of the house to ensure all was good from a pandemic perspective given the slobs that rent the weeks before us, so I did a little research and called Cape Cod Cleaning Collaborative because they seemed to have the most trustworthy reviews. I spoke to the owner who returned my message promptly and asked me several questions about my needs. She mentioned that unfortunately, she isn't taking new clients this season due to a reduced work force and also, they can't clean houses as a one-off. They will do a 'deep clean' of a house at the beginning of the season and then come in for 'touch ups' but don't really do the whole 'I have the house for this week and would like it cleaned when I arrive' type of thing. If you rent a house, the home owner would likely have to have this deep clean done at the beginning of the season and then schedule subsequent cleanings for when guests leave. This wasn't our situation. I see that some reviews get a little pissy about this protocol but I have to respect it because it means they do a great job, are thorough, and don't go through the motions. If I owned a house on Cape Cod, I'd certainly use no other company but this one to clean it based on this interaction. However, the owner was great about passing on the name of the company she uses to sanitize and clean carpets in the homes she deep-cleans when she heard of my concerns about covid. She sent an email to that company's owner referring me to his business and he ended up coming in and doing a fantastic job of sanitizing the house and carpets for a great price. She didn't have to make that referral for me and did not benefit from it financially ... she was just trying to be helpful. Another reason why I would choose this business over any other business on Cape Cod, if I owned a house. Based on our initial conversation, it seems like the business owner really takes into account the needs of the customer and doesn't cut corners. I passed her name along to the person who owns the house we all split weeks at during the summer and I can only hope he will call her to arrange for cleaning going forward vs. everyone doing their own thing. Like I said, even when things didn't work out in terms of doing business together, the owner went out of her way for us and we were grateful for that. If I do end up buying a house on Cape Cod one day, this is the only company I'd call to set up cleaning. read more

Have used them for the past four years, however no longer. They went from hourly billing to fixed billing per cleaning visit - but failed to communicate that - I didn't know it until I got the invoice! And - at the same time - they increased prices by over 30%. They have also become unreliable - the most recent cancellation was last week when they cancelled less than two hours before they were supposed to arrive. Switching to a company that cleans several of our neighbors houses - come highly recommended - and cost less! read more

This is July 2021 on Cape Cod and after last year's Covid shutdown, tourism has roared back and everyone is completely booked. I went on-line and read reviews of various local companies and CCCC had the best reviews by far. So I emailed the company just 3 days before I needed my house cleaned. (I had decided last minute to have a surprise birthday party for my sister and I work full-time). A representative of the company got back to me within 4 hours and carefully explained their services and pricing. Despite how busy they were, she made a sincere attempt to put together a crew, and they scheduled me for two days later! What followed was the most organized email, voice, and text correspondence I could have asked for. The owner conducted an in-depth interview about my needs and sent detailed follow-up emails about the services to be provided. I was called the night before with an anticipated arrival time and then again the morning of the cleaning. The crew arrived to the minute! I cannot tell you what a great job they did. I asked for a deep cleaning and that's what I got, a real "spring clean". My house is all white- walls, trim, cabinets, furniture, everything, and on three levels. Lots of stairs. They cleaned every square inch including the heating baseboards, all the door frames, fingerprints, light switches, blinds, louvered doors, drawer interiors, everything. My house has 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, including 3 refrigerators (one in the pantry), all stainless steel, and lots of open shelving. The crew did a top notch job. Frankly, I am amazed. I have had lots of cleaners over the years but never anyone I could say I have absolutely no complaints about. I am planning on working with them again and I cannot recommend them more highly. And I am a very fussy person. read more

We contacted Cape Cod Cleaning Collaborative for a cleaning service at our parent's home in North Eastham. I received a call back from Melissa (one of the partners) the following day. She answered all my questions without feeling pressure to hire them. Melissa came out to the house the following week to look over the house and I received an estimate that afternoon. I spoke with Jessica (the other partner) since I had a few questions and she answered me promptly. We hired them in the beginning of August and couldn't be happier with their service. My dad is 90 and my mom has Alzheimer's. We were a bit concerned about their reaction to strangers in the house. We are SO HAPPY we made that initial call. Their staff is extremely thorough, respectful and kind. They send an email two days prior to the appointment with arrival time and they ARRIVE ON TIME! Showed up right when they said they would, did an amazing job cleaning the entire house. I used them for an end of season cleaning and asked for a few specific items to be handled. They handled the specific tasks wonderfully and professionally. Because they did such a good job, I will leave my 5 stars but a few things to improve - communication at times is tough, especially over the phone, and the laundry service is expensive! This has been one of the best decisions we made. - From getting estimates, signing contracts and doing the actual house cleaning - every point of contact has been professional, thorough and of the highest quality. It's our first year owning our Cape House and renting it out. We used CCC for the Spring Cleaning, and will be using them for change over service. This company may do very good work, but they have a fundamental misunderstanding of the business-customer relationship. I've been using another cleaning service at my vacation property for 5 years, but decided to look into other options to compare pricing. I sent a list of all the services I required and asked for a quote -- cleaning the unit as well as laundering bed sheets and linens. In order to get a quote, this company requires a site visit, despite the fact that I sent photos of every space in the unit. I've never had a cleaning company require a site visit, but since it was mandatory, I went through the hassle of arranging for a friend to meet them at the place. (I live out of state.) When I received the quote, it was accompanied by a raft of other e-mails -- it felt they were giving me a homework assignment. But the real problem was that the quote did not itemize any services, so it wasn't clear whether laundry service was included. I e-mailed that question, and the response was: "Laundry. wash, dry, fold, delivery and pick up costs are listed in our terms of service, per item. We pay an outside vendor directly and bill you separate from the cleaning." So then I went searching for the "terms of service" within the endless material they bombarded me with and couldn't find it. Finally, after another e-mail to the company, they copied and pasted the "per item" cost of laundry, which when you add them up, made their service far more expensive than the company I've been using. The bottom line is that I wasted a huge amount of time to get a simple price quote that they could have easily estimated on the day I contacted them. They could even include a caveat to allow for adjustments. How about this: "Typically, turnover cleaning and laundry service for a two-bedroom, one bath condo costs $XXX. If your unit presents any exceptional challenges or problems, however, additional charges may apply." How hard is that? Apparently, too hard. read more

Before calling the Cleaning Collaborative, I tried three different cleaning services and had been underwhelmed with the level of service, with the focus seeming to be more on superficial cleaning for rental turnovers. I have been so happy with their thorough level of cleaning as well as their professional communication, billing and scheduling. I signed up for regular cleanings which has worked out great. I recently had some construction done on my house and EVERYTHING got coated in a fine layer of dust. Like angels from above, the women came in a few days earlier than scheduled to make my home livable again, and for that, I'm infinitely grateful, which inspired me to write this review today. Prices are more than double what I have paid to any cleaner over the past 12 years. They never cleaned my house because we got stuck on their strange policies and procedures including but not limited to (1) they insisted I agree to their policy for them to remove from premises and discard any and all dirty bath rugs and bath mats (it was unacceptable to CCCC to place these dirty items if any in a basket or in a particular place; (2) they insist on performing a deep cleaning early in the season (reasonable) but refuse to schedule it - even after phone calls are made to inquire about when they will show up to do the deep cleaning (they didn't return the calls); (3) the have a policy that they will provide a 2 week window for the deep cleaning and the owner had better not be there when they randomly show up - otherwise it's cancelled (this is really dumb and not customer oriented since owners customarily are at the house getting it ready for the season then); (4) for the summer changeover cleanings their staff are instructed to not begin the cleaning but rather leave if any car (even the owner's) is in the driveway. Umm not sure if they understand who is the customer in this relationship. If you question anything they will say "I'm not sure we are the right cleaners for you" read more

I have been working with Cape Cod Cleaning Collaborative for the past 18 months, since we bought a summer place in Harwich. We don't rent out, so don't need the changeover clean weekly, but do have them do a deep clean at the beginning and end of the season and monthly cleans June-September. I am completely happy with their business and the service they provide. The cleans are always very thorough and consistent. The teams are efficient and professional. Jessica and Melissa run an extremely professional and above-board business that is fair to the customer and the employees. I really appreciate their non-toxic cleaning philosophy and am willing to pay a little extra for a reliable, consistent, high quality service like CCCC. While their policies and procedures are a little specific, I can see how it allows them to be efficient with their employees, time and clients, and I appreciate all of that. I completely trust their teams and know my house will be shipshape after each visit. While they are a little more $ than some cleaners, I have had years of working with cleaners at different homes, and so appreciate the reliability, consistency and professionalism of CCCC, at this point I would not use anyone else. read more
