We had already been pre-approved but went unwilling to the Hyannis office for the Coop where we met Matt Berry. Best move we ever made. Matt worked with us on the best plan for our situation, then constantly communicated in a systematic, personable yet professional way throughout the process. Matt and Alissa White made the entire mortgage acquisition easy. Being from Florida was not sure who we would do our banking with on the Cape. Was such a great bank when it was Coop of CC. Now, its a nightmare. I deposited a 15000 check at…read morethe Yarmouthport branch. It registered as a deposit on my statement. Three days later, when I checked my online balance, it stated the check was returned. At the branch, they stated it was because *they* made a mistake and forgot to stamp it. I was told I had to wait for it to come in them mail. When it finally arrived, I brought it to them, and waited while they redeposited it. The closest thing to an apology was "you're all set." Unacceptable. Also, the online portal is a miserable customer experience. Needless to say, I'm in the process of taking my business elsewhere.

I would not advise using this bank. Some employees that work there are very smug and when you are nice, they still remain smug and rude. Never in my life did I have to show an ID to make a cash deposit. I work for a company that has a…read morecorporate account. The only thing I can do with the account is deposit money. This branch makes mistakes on deposits and I never know if it ever gets rectified. I made a deposit a few weeks ago, Dollars and change in cash and a check. When I got the deposit slip back the cashier put in the wrong total amount. When I tried to get it fixed, they said they couldn't do it, the back office would do that. And of course I couldn't speak to them. Went to make a cash deposit today, was told I need an ID to make a cash deposit. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. They open at 10am I open at 8 they close at 4 so do I so I depend on someone to make that deposit for me. I wish we could just change banks. This one is awful.

My nephew went to cash a check from his employer today at CC5. The check was written from CC5 &…read moremade out directly to him. He brought a valid picture ID ( driver's license). The teller was NOT polite. She asked him for another form of ID & gave the following examples ( social security card or a birth certificate). I have specifically instructed him not to give out his social security number to avoid identity theft & nobody caries their birth certificate around with them. They then asked him to open an account which I think is completely inappropriate. I suspect it is because he's a person of color. A valid license should be enough. If you want to be discriminated against, do go to CC5, else avoid this bank!

Disappointing. I…read morehave had a mortgage through them since 2017. They were great to work with then, but when I contacted them recently to speak about a refinance, they routed me to John Wells. It took him 10 days to connect with me only to tell me that their current rate of 3.3 is only a bit lower than my current mortgage rate. He explained that it is because they are so busy that they are trying to discourage more people from refinancing; they want to keep their customer level low in order to focus on good customer service. Then he said I should be talking to my original loan officer about it (though I was given his name to contact by the bank). The whole experience wasted my time and made me feel unwanted. It's ironic that they've increased their rates to provide better customer service. How about you just focus on retaining the customers you have? Wouldn't that be an idea?? I will be transferring my loan elsewhere and will never come back here for any of my banking needs.
