My nephew went to cash a check from his employer today at CC5. The check was written from CC5 &…read moremade out directly to him. He brought a valid picture ID ( driver's license). The teller was NOT polite. She asked him for another form of ID & gave the following examples ( social security card or a birth certificate). I have specifically instructed him not to give out his social security number to avoid identity theft & nobody caries their birth certificate around with them. They then asked him to open an account which I think is completely inappropriate. I suspect it is because he's a person of color. A valid license should be enough. If you want to be discriminated against, do go to CC5, else avoid this bank!

Disappointing. I…read morehave had a mortgage through them since 2017. They were great to work with then, but when I contacted them recently to speak about a refinance, they routed me to John Wells. It took him 10 days to connect with me only to tell me that their current rate of 3.3 is only a bit lower than my current mortgage rate. He explained that it is because they are so busy that they are trying to discourage more people from refinancing; they want to keep their customer level low in order to focus on good customer service. Then he said I should be talking to my original loan officer about it (though I was given his name to contact by the bank). The whole experience wasted my time and made me feel unwanted. It's ironic that they've increased their rates to provide better customer service. How about you just focus on retaining the customers you have? Wouldn't that be an idea?? I will be transferring my loan elsewhere and will never come back here for any of my banking needs.

I would not advise using this bank. Some employees that work there are very smug and when you are nice, they still remain smug and rude.
