I dropped my car off on December 16th, and it was not ready until January 20th. Before I ever dropped it off, we paid in advance specifically so the parts would arrive beforehand and the repair process could be expedited, as the shop knew we were on a tight timeline. Despite this, I was repeatedly told my car would be ready by a certain date, only to arrive and be told it would take another week. This happened three separate times. Each time, I was reassured that my vehicle was a "priority" and that they were "expediting the process," which turned out to be completely untrue. On January 6th, I was told my car was moving to paint. By January 14th, it still had not been painted. When we finally pushed for a real explanation, we were told that the mechanic only works on each car for about an hour at a time before moving on to another vehicle, rather than completing cars in the order they were brought in. This system was never communicated upfront and explains the constant delays and broken promises. While the gentleman at the front desk was kind, everyone else showed no urgency, accountability, or compassion for what was an incredibly frustrating and avoidable situation. The lack of transparency and repeated false timelines were unacceptable and caused major inconveniences. I will never bring my car here again, and I strongly caution others with a deadline to take their business elsewhere.

    UPDATED!! After…read moretaking my car up there three different times to get a back up camera and Bluetooth Apple radio added paying over 1,000 I get a radio under my dash they disconnected all of my features included my volume on the dash and steering wheel. Oh and the "Bluetooth" radio is a cord out of my glove box. I just spent the last 20 minutes crying because this isn't what I paid for and feel totally swindled out of my money. They were not very upfront with what I was getting and pure laziness for not wanting to change the dash with the controls. Hopefully I can take it somewhere else and get it fixed the way it was supposed to be (oh and spend more money) :( Called this morning and talked to the owner he said I got exactly what I wanted. Well sir if you had been upfront with me and told me my steering wheel features wouldn't work I would not have done this. His employee Aaron only showed me the radio on the computer not the dash kits. So basically this is all my fault according to him. Please save your money and go somewhere else to get better work done.

They stuck with it - even calling the advanced Chevy Fleet support hotline (whom couldn't figure it out), but Ponders eventually nailed it. I think they treated us generously on the bill too. My car just over heated and when I opened the hood there was antifreeze all over the engine. It looks worse than when I originally took it in. Now I'm stuck in a hard place because I almost paid them $2,000 and they did not fix my car. I can sum it up to the worse customer service experience I have ever experienced. I can understand if they run into problems that they don't expect and it takes a little longer, but every time I called (everyday) they were short with me and would not tell me why it was taking longer then expected. They went $500 over the quoted price without talking to me for things they did not talk to me about. I was told it would be done by a Wednesday and everyday they said the next day until the following Tuesday so that makes them untrustworthy (without a reason why). I gave a family member my card to pay for it Friday so I can get it after work after they closed and they called her to tell her that they are going to keep it because they are not done at the time they closed. I had to take off work to go up there and talk to them and pay for it again for stuff I we did not agree on, and when I tried to question it the lady at the front just kept giving me the screw off smile and repeated "I can't not release the car to you unless you pay." In summary, because there was more, you will be over charged for they agreed price, not get the vehicle back at an appropriate time, and they will be disrespectful (and blame you for not completely there job). UPDATE: I just talked to them to see if they can help me because it is not drivable. They said it will be 2 weeks until they can look at it, they won't tow the car for me, and they will not give me the owners information because he is the only one that can make those calls (he's on vacation). This place is a nightmare.

    Took my 2026 Honda to Gerber Collision in Temple as the prior experience was excellent. This time…read moredid not go as well as expected. Dropped the SUV off fairly early on a Tuesday morning and was told that updates are sent out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Called on Thursday afternoon and was told that some of the parts were in and that the tentative date for completion was Tuesday. Late Friday, I receive a call that it's completed and ready for pickup. I leave my house a little after 5:00 pm. The traffic on the highway is bumper to bumper. I still need to drop off the rental car and Gerber closes at 5:30 pm. I call them back and let them know it will be Monday. They have already told the insurance company that the car is repaired. If you are local to Temple, you know that the traffic is maddening at 5:00 pm and even worse on a Friday. They also were made aware that this was a claim that I was not responsible for due to being hit. So decided to pick up the car on Monday. On Monday, when we got to Gerber, the car was outside and was very dirty. It felt gritty like there was overspray on the entire vehicle. They took it back and hand washed it and that resolved some of the issue. It was blamed on the sap but it wasn't sap it was dust and overspray as the entire SUV is coated in it. Circumstances being what they are, Gerber definitely could have handled this entire situation better.

Stephen and his team were courteous and helpful and did not charge me to look at my tires while I was worried I had a flat over an hour from my destination. I offered to pay him for his time and he said it was unnecessary and that I was good to go. It has been a few weeks and I finally have time to say THANK YOU to Stephen and his team for helping me (and my pup) while we were quite worried on a road trip and had no where to go. I highly recommend Stephen for his integrity and professionalism. Human to human, thank you!!!
