This company is completely unprofessional. Their communication is horrible. They subcontracted out our reservation without notifying us then we took the subcontracted shuttle, they tried to claim they never did and double charged us. Do NOT use this company, if you do, expect to be double charged. Additionally, they said we no showed for the first ride to air bnb and we got no contact asking why we no showed, hence the reason when we got in the subcontracted van from the number they sent in text we thought we were in the right van. Excellent Service! Reserved round trip to Snowbird through their online system. The reservation was confirmed through email and communicated with our drivers through text prior to pickup when changes were necessary due to a snowstorm that delayed our arrival and departure. When necessary I contacted them through phone and my calls were either answered or returned in a timely manner. I highly recommend this service if you are traveling to Snowbird or Park City. read more

I just read Andrea's review and it is bs. I arrived at the counter at the same time they did and rode in with them. I heard them cancelling their return flight in the car. I had no baggage, so there was room for their bags, and we were lucky to have Kenny's SUV since clearly they were very busy. I sat in front, and Andrea sat with her guy and another slender young man in the seat for 3 people behind. My flight arrived at 4:15, and if you aren't aware, you can (and I did) walk the 2 miles from your gate to transportation. I didn't check the clock, but it had to be well after 4:30 when I arrived at Canyon's desk - and I had no baggage to pick up. Maybe she didn't realize there was a time change. Yes we waited inside a good 30-45 minutes and then outside another 10 or so - big deal. This was rush hour Friday, and a holiday weekend. The bumper to bumper traffic started on the off ramp to Park City and was bumper to bumper thereafter. I have had much longer waits with this company. I am in and out of Park City all the time. But to their credit, they have never gotten me back to the airport late. read more

Very easy to arrange, very professional. We had to wait a bit (~45min) at SLC airport to leave for resort, but not a big deal, we were not in a time pressure. Drivers great, van roomy for us and for luggage. Could charge phone in the van. Upon return, a big storm was coming and we pushed up our return to night before to an airport hotel...they were able to do this for us easily amidst a power outage at our hotel, my dying cell phone, etc. I would use them again any time! read more

Eric was driving the Peruvian shuttle at Alta in a crazy snowstorm with even crazier traffic (like an hour to get from Alta base area to the Peruvian). What a nice, calm, capable guy! Waited an hour to be picked up at the airport. Never was given any indication of an ETA. I contacted the customer service line and got a recorded message. I asked at the desk, and Shannon (the attendant) said she would contact the driver. I suggested it would be good if they gave an ETA. She responded that it's a shared ride. It was unclear that she understood the suggestion. She suggested I book another service. I would recommend you follow her advice. read more

I used Canyon shared rides to and from SLC Airport - Park City. Both drivers were friendly and competent. The return pickup arrived about 1/2 late, but I was the last pick up, and it might not have been his fault. Vehicle to PC was a minivan and luggage was crowded. Canyon seems to be a professionally run operation. I recommended them as a cheaper alternative to a private pick up. read more

basically an expensive reservation system where they outsource your prepaid pretipped booking to a rideshare app and don't tell you until a random driver text you on your required for reservation phone number CT gave to them on my final trip with Canyon Transportaion, our return trip driver was too busy on the phone to help us load our bags. thats because he was making a new reservation for later in the day. which he confirmed with the same trip price but at $80 less than our booking directly with Canyon for a "private shuttle". all the time driving down the middle of big cottonwood canyon utah with oncoming traffic and switch backs. what a poor product and scam. shame on me for booking not only 1 but 3 shuttle trips with CT over 3 weeks and not learning the first time it happened. save the worst for last. buyer beware. read more

I do not recommend this service. They tell you at the airport that it will be a 20 minute wait. Every time we've waited more than 20 minutes and one time we waited at least an hour and a half. This past experience, we were already on our way up the mountain and they called our driver and said we had to come back to the airport and pick up more people and delayed our ride up to the mountain at least an hour. We tried to cancel our reservation back to the airport more than 24 hrs in advance, and they won't refund us any part of the trip! Not even half with our experience on the way up being so terrible. Lyft and uber are cheaper and if you're at least 2 people, it DEFINITELY makes way more sense than paying per person on canyon shuttle. We are so disappointed. We won't be taking canyon transportation Again and advise you not to as well! read more

I can say without a doubt that canyon transportation is the most POORLY run transportation organization I have ever dealt with. We originally had a 5am shuttle, due to the LCC road closing we had to take a credit for our flight, then pay more money out of pocket for a different ticket. This is when I lost faith in canyon: Finally, when the road opened, People were getting picked up before us even though they had later flights. On top of that, we were promised and lied to, and I will never recommend canyon to any of my family or friends, especially on the way back to the airport. read more

I tried many times to reach a customer service representative in order to cancel my transportation once I found out how much more expensive they were than taking an Uber or regular taxi, and only reached a voicemail. One time I was able to get through to someone, and I was told to call back during the daytime operating hours. When I called back, again, voicemail. Finally, they called me back... to berate me for not showing up to my scheduled transport to the airport. I tried to explain what had happened, only to be aggressively quoted that they have a 48-hour cancelation policy and that was that. What a rip off, what a rude group of people. read more

Promises of only 5 minutes more, 10 minutes more. Still waiting. The transport was redirected. Couldn't seem to get a direct answer as to when a driver would actually show up. We finally left the airport 1 hour and 20 minutes after we arrived. On the plus side, The driver we had was great, hence 2 stars. He was courteous, kind and a safe driver. We tipped him well! The vans need overhauling, fully loaded Semi's were easily passing us on the way to the Summit. Looking for service? Uber/Lyft to Park City is only $45. No refund policy on the return with advanced round trip purchase. I understand why... We will save ourselves the time/frustration and order a car. Cheaper and better service. read more

Nice drivers but what a waste of time. Just take an uber. It's the same cost and saves you about 2 HOURS of travel time. I landed at 10:20 and didn't get dropped off until after 1am. First of all, I filled out the form online with my flight number and time it landed. I got a call while I was still on the plane asking if I would be ready soon, otherwise the driver was going to leave. Well, the driver left (even though I put the time of flight?) so I waited AN HOUR at the airport for the next shuttle. There were 4 people on board and even though i had by far waited the longest at the airport I was the last to be dropped off. So it took me 3 hours to get to my destination (which is normally a 45 minute drive from the airport). I cannot stress this enough - TAKE AN UBER. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I don't even know how these guys are still in business given I checked the uber prices while I was waiting at the airport and it was $48 to get to Deer Valley from the airport... read more

Every time I call them it says I'm caller #2 in line. Then a few minutes go by and it says I'm next in line. Then 15-20 min go by and it tells me I'm now caller #3 or 4. This has happened three times in a row now. I've also tried calling dispatch or the quote offices instead of reservations. Both of these have ended in permanent holding patterns as well. In 5 separate phone call attempts totaling over an hour and a half, I am still yet to speak with a single human being at this company. This is far and away the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. Seeing the other reviews about their tardiness and lack of communication combined with my experience on the phone makes believe this company is unreliable and incompetent and should never be used by anyone who doesn't want to be scammed. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. The drivers rock and so do the people at the airport and lodge locations. As a trip director for a large group, we arrived on 3 different airlines. I was in the first group and when I approached the airline counter in Terminal 1, was told hey, you guys don't need to wait for the rest of the group. You can head on up. GREAT!!! So we did. The next group came and the third group also came. That part worked out super. Now the major down side. They do NOT tell you that your group has to LEAVE all at the same time. I specifically went to the customer service counter on 3 separate occasions asking about us leaving. I asked - since the buses are smaller, can we leave at different times and was told yes! The first group of 3 left at 9:30 am. No charge. Four of us did not use the return shuttle. No big deal. Understood it was use it or lose it. My problem came with them charging the remaining 5 people 20 bucks because they left at a different time. My biggest grip was I not once, not twice but three times inquired if there was an additional charge and was told NO. Again citing the size of the transports made moving the larger group difficult. I just called Canyon and spoke to Dan, the supervisor. And they aren't going to do a thing. Said they couldn't train all of their employees on what was in our contracts. I think it is pretty simple. If they look at a list and they see we are all supposed to leave at the same time on arrival and departure, we should have been made aware of an additional charge if we changed our minds. Dan informed me that they have larger transports one with 14 seats (still too small) and a 56 passenger bus (WAAAY to big by more than half). Again - in checking in at the airport I was not told we had to wait, quite the opposite, I was told they had 2 transports right there and we DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT for the rest of the group. Despite me saying repeatedly- I was NOT made aware of this and was going off what I was told by both the airport and lodge locations, Dan was not willing to help out. Since the largest group coming in was 9, he based only 9 discounted return trips!! So the rest of the 9 was to be charged $20! But as I said 4 of us did not use the return so the remaining 5 got charged. What BS!! I ended my call by saying I don't think we will be using Canyon Transport again and certainly not Snowbird's Central Reservations. This totally soured what was otherwise a great trip. And I feel for the drivers because all of ours were super nice and exceptionally helpful. James, our driver, was outstanding. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER!! We were told we would be able to hop right on the shuttle after grabbing our bags. We ended up having to wait over 45 min for our shuttle be ready and then our shuttle driver said he was unable to load our bags, so we had to load our bags in the car. I usually don't this but we had a massive ski bag!! Then he went to the wrong hotel, which was 30 min detour for us and no one in the shuttle was staying there!! And the driver also got us stuck on a hill for a little bit!! Clearly there driver is an idiot!! All in all took us 3+ hours to go from SLC airport to Park City!! Canyon is the worst! Extremely unreliable service. If you plan on using them, make sure you give yourself tons of extra time - don't count on them to be on time. We had a 10:15 airport shuttle booked and were waiting outside by 10:15. At 10:30 I called and they said they were 15 mins behind. At 11 I called back and they said to keep waiting. Eventually at 11:15 (a full hour late) I see a shuttle bus drive by our unit so I go check it out and the driver tells us he's not supposed to pick anyone up at our unit - I had to ask him to call the office to check and of course we were scheduled. We only started driving to airport at 11:25 - thankfully we had lots of time to spare but not reliable way to get to airport on time. read more

Had to wait half hour for other riders that got lost in the airport. Driver took some long slow way to get to my hotel So it took over an hour. Took a taxi to get back to airport four days later. A lot better experience and faster. Driver didn't even help me get in and out of the van which was high off the ground. Shouldn't of put my tip on the bill. read more
