Zippy Shell is the best because of its amazing staff. Its support and customer service is by far…read morethe best I have experienced in the moving business in the last 10+ years. Their Customer Care and Delivery Teams were fantastic, including Aaron (who picked up my Zippy Shell container at the destination). I have moved items from the West Coast to East Coast and back several times over the years. It is not easy moving a lot of items over a long distance without paying an arm and a leg or losing/breaking things. Zippy Shell gave me confidence that my belongings would arrive without issue (and it did). I initially signed a contract with a full, comprehensive moving service, but after hours wasted on multiple phone calls/no-shows, I ended up cancelling the service due to lack of reliability and trustworthiness from their staff. In contrast, the Zippy Shell agent on the phone worked to make the service perfect for what were important to me: budget and reliability. I wish I could remember the name of the first person that helped me at Zippy Shell in the Customer Care team. He was fantastic and gave me the confidence to go sign the agreement that day even though it was not the cheapest quote I had received. There are always little hiccups (e.g. the Zippy Shell and Pack Rat systems don't seem to play nice), but Zippy Shell has been fantastic overall! Most importantly, I felt assured my belongings would safely arrive. They will be my first call in the future.

If you're okay with taking a gamble, feel free to use this company. I'll keep this short…read more We moved less than 5 miles away and somehow our 75" TV was damaged in the process. There was a team of 6 that showed up for the job. They were nice and professional. As a matters of fact, their team lead pointed out the crack in the TV after it got moved to our new residence. He assured us we would be able to submit a claim and it would be taken care of. The claim was ultimately denied and they said it's because we can't prove the TV wasn't like that prior to the move. So basically when we did the initial walk through, not a single one of the 6 men noted the crack?Interesting. Read other reviews and do your own research before using this company. It looks like this has happened to a few people.

I used Triple 7 Movers for my local relocation and I am extremely pleased with their service…read more From the initial phone call to the final unload at my new home, the team was professional, friendly, and exceptionally efficient. The moving crew arrived on time on moving day, ready to get to work. They clearly communicated their plan for the day, and took less time than I expected to pack, load, and unload everything. No items were damaged or lost, which is a huge relief! Overall, I highly recommend Triple 7 Movers for anyone planning a move. Their professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set them apart. I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future!

Here is a list of what this last move involved…read more Keith (Sales) -- Agrees to ship 2 deliveries with a 10 day delivery window. Guarantees that items will not be touched after they are loaded (an attractive selling point). Guarantees that weight is unimportant (at least a dozen times) as the charge is by the cubic foot. Guarantees that this is white glove service, full load in, full load out. Guarantees that items will be delivered to the 2 addresses given. Once the items are picked up (after the pickup date changed 4 times, including the unlikely excuse of a massive hole appearing randomly in a truck), it is decided that the weight is more than they want to move. As such, without alerting the customer, they remove one shipment, store it in their warehouse, and mention nothing about it until the 9th day (August 18th), when they announce that the second delivery will arrive "sometime in the next 10 days". When the guarantee was pointed out, Jade (Dispatch) told me, that as long as "some" of the shipment arrived within the window, this fulfilled the obligation. The first truck showed up with 20,000 pounds spread across 440 boxes. They provided a single work for hire local employee. As such, I unloaded my own truck. When Keith was asked why every single guarantee he gave went unheeded, Keith stopped responding to texts and phone calls. We were then assured that the truck would be there on the 21st. Then the 22nd. Then the 23rd. Then absolutely the 24th. On the 25th, we receive a call from a truck driver who, from 80 miles away, declares that he will not deliver to our house (the address on the order, approved by Keith, approved by dispatch, and approved by Greg, the on site estimator), citing fear that he will not be able to safely get there. He then tells us we will need to pay for him to rent a Uhaul. When we refuse, he says we will have to get our own Uhaul and meet him at a truck stop 15 miles away from the address. When we refuse, he states that unless we choose a different address, he will not deliver. We choose the address of the first delivery (a storage unit). When he shows, an hour later than he stated he would, he immediately begins stating how he could not safely drive to the address. When it was mentioned that large trucks drive that road all the time, he called me a "liar". When it was pointed out that a semi delivered to the door, he was genuinely confused by the fact that other companies have delivery vehicles. He then refused to unload the truck. We then decided to record him repeatedly stating that he was not going to unload the truck, to the point here the 2 hired workers went to sit in their vehicle. He then opened the door, and went and sat in the cab. We then arranged for family and friends to use 7 different vehicles over the course of 3 hours to transport the items to the house. We were then called by corporate. That person stated that there was nothing they could do. When damage to the items was mentioned (which we were told there would be 30 days to report), we were told that that wouldn't be covered and there was nothing else they could do. So. If you want a trucking company that breaks every single guarantee they make, splits your orders up, delivers late, sends abusive truck drivers, makes you unload your own truck, refuses to deliver the items to the correct address, and stops answering customer service calls in the middle of a move, Triple 7 is absolutely who you should call.
