First of all, she's the absolute sweetest. Throughout the process, she never made me feel judged or like I was a lost cause. Her whole demeanor was so uplifting, she seemed excited to help me and that made me feel excited, too. She pulled up several options in my budget & that would work with my credit, options I didn't even know existed! We settled on a beautiful, renovated studio in the downtown area, I applied and got approved within an hour. When I tell you I got in my vehicle and cried the happiest of tears. I never thought I'd see the day! I'll be recommending everyone, literally everyone, I know to Prestige Realty and especially to Nora. I now have a beautiful, cozy little home that I would have never found on my own and I can't thank her enough. Try this place, seriously. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Jovanni was our agent and I told him (and wrote down) I only had $1200 in moving expenses. This guy tells us we got approved for an apartment that was $1450 a month (which is fine as long as there are move-in specials) turns out there were NO move in specials and the apartment management company doesn't have an office so we could sit down and actually break down all the fees. I've rented many apartments in my life and never in all my years has my experience been so bad. Random fees would pop up out of nowhere and now all of a sudden we have to pay $2300 just to move in! Mind you- we already packed up our entire life and moved out of our previous apartment because NO ONE COMMUNICATED WITH US UNTIL LAST SECOND THAT WE HAVE TO PAY 2x THE AMOUNT JUST TO MOVE IN! We even SIGNED THE LEASE! Not a single person told us about this move in cost because we made it VERY CLEAR what we had to work with. Some can be annoying but found that talking things out helps. Noise, not really anything you wouldnt expect from large apt complex near freeway. ER vehicles, traffic and the ocassional car accident. Sure we have people driving through with their music loud & ocassional scene of couples or random people fighting/arguing. But its not all the time. Office staff- dont really go there unless I have too. I do see there are alot of different faces, not familiar with anyone now. Last time I went in the office, the young lady at desk was professional and nice. Maintenance guys are alright. Ive met some really nice people who have come to fix things. And maybe one who wasnt. Now for the CONS: ROACHES. Big problem! The kitchen- cabinets, drawers and undersink. Dishwasher is infested. I no longer.use it. The bathroom is getting them more since neighbors left. Now the bedroom, this drives my anxiety insane to no end! One was crawling down the bed, which promtped me to write this! I wasnt able to catch it to kill it so now my anxiety isnt going to let me sleep. Because Im going to be worried about it all night! Ive experienced them crawling on me as I slept. Crawling on my face! My blankets, bed, dresser and walls. They come out from under carpet, vents, drains, outlets and even the front door. Ive done home remedies, spraying them down with Raid & whatever is recommended by pest control, which worked for a short time but the ocassional need for someone to come out and spray is needed morseo weekly. I have continued to remove things from my apartment so there isnt so much clutter or places for the roaches to nest. Other cons-mold in shower, no matter what I use is not working; fan in bathroom is non-exsistent. Carpet. Carpet is disgusting. This was not new or cleaned when I moved in. Stains rose up after I had it professionally cleaned. I have to get it cleaned at least 2xs a year. Lastly, RENT. Seems we are upped by $300 or more at renewal time. I dont see why it should be. If I have to pay $1500 for one bedroom, then I shouldnt have a roach problem. Its not just me, Ive spoken with others who are frustrated with this problem. So overall, isnt all that bad. Just the damn roach and mold problems.

I received workman's negligence after submitting a maintenance request. The leasing office has handled the matter poorly in every way possible. I've been berated, undermined, and devalued through out the entire process. I'm holding my breath until my lease is over and my nightmare of an experience here is finally over. I've never been so stressed out and anxious about living in a place I don't feel safe in and does not provide quality living, leasing agents, or maintenance associates. I'm severely disappointed in myself for not terminating my lease upon move in under the preface that things would be repaired. That's when all the issues started and as soon as they did not keep their word on the repairs I should have left, but due to needing a place to live I opted to stay. She is very fair to both tenant and landlords. We might not agree on everything, but at least I can bring it up and discuss with her, and she will let me know her point of views. But when I prefer to handle it in certain way, she respects my request and will accommodate where make sense.

We started renting our apartment three weeks before we moved in. There was a thick layer of pigeon feces covering our patio that management said they would take care of before we moved in. When we got to our apartment, the pigeon feces were still there. We notified the front desk, they said they would have it taken care of that day. They didn't. My mother ended up having to scrape our patio of pigeon feces in 120° heat because management didn't follow through with their promise twice. And no, maintenance never came. Speaking of lack of maintenance, we had a request and a maintenance man come in (2023). We have an american flag on our porch to keep the pigeons away that has dedicated holes to hang it up, so sure it's "upside down." Instead of the maintenance man fixing our issue, he decided to scream at my husband about how our flag was upside down and how disrespectful it was. Needless to say, our maintenance issue didn't get resolved. Obviously, water turns off every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 to 1, if you're lucky, which was NOT shared with us during our tour. Sometimes they have it turned off as early as 8:30, sometimes it doesn't come on until 3:30. No water means you're not able to do laundry, to run your dish washer, to hand, wash, dishes, to shower, to wash your hands, to flush your toilet, etc. Feels VERY inhumane to turn off your tenants water on a weekly basis. To put it into perspective, of the 730 days we've lived here, the water has been turned off 313 days. That's almost HALF. and is NOT including the random Tuesdays and Thursdays they shut off the water. I'm honestly not even sure how that's legal, especially in Arizona. I don't see this issue ever being resolved, as they turn it off for renovations and people are constantly leaving this place so renovations are endless. My husband and I are renting while we are in college. We've left twice for about a month each time to go home for the holidays. the first time we left, we had an unsettling experience. In 2023, we requested a maintenance request due to our garbage disposal not working. When we got home, our furniture was rearranged in ways that were not how we left it, our mat was draped over the railing, and our pot was moved directly in front of the door. in our residence portal, the issue was canceled by the maintenance crew. All that to say, our garbage disposal was not fixed. I guess maintenance just decided to rearrange our furniture for us instead of fix our garbage disposal. The pool will randomly be locked on days they did not say it would be locked, regardless of how hot it is. Even though it's supposed to be open Monday-Sunday 7am until 10pm. Sometimes, the hot tub will be freezing cold and not heated at all during the winter, making it unable to use. we've been having an influx of kids ding dong ditching us within the last few months as well. i'd like to point out that 99% of the 4+ star reviews are because they mooch off you after maintenance requests to fill out a review on google, even tho it has nothing to do with the living conditions here. Check YELP to see their authentic 1.5 stars I will say, they did seem to acquire a new maintenance team within the last few months that have been really great and kind. However, if my husband and I were in town when our lease expired after the first year, we definitely wouldn't have renewed a second year. And if management told us about the water issue during our walkthrough, we DEFINITELY wouldn't have signed.
