Dishonest and Untrustworthy…read more I went to this shop expecting an honest evaluation, but instead they tried to rip me off. They told me my rotors were worn out and needed replacing -- even though my husband had just installed brand-new rotors two months ago. When I called my husband (who is a mechanic) and told him what they said, he immediately knew something was off. When confronted, the guy backpedaled and said his job was "just to give an estimate." That's not the point -- I trusted them to give me an honest assessment of my car, and they flat-out lied about work that didn't need to be done. Do not trust these people. They will make things up, replace parts and filters that don't need replacing, and take advantage of customers who don't know better. Thankfully, I had someone who could verify their dishonesty, but not everyone will. Stay far away.

I got a call saying the truck was all good to go and they were able to take the previous spacers off without issue. Because they were already on the truck I was not able to return them for wheels that actually fit.

Offering Texans fast, friendly service!…read more If you are looking for your mechanic to flip out on you, telling you to leave and come back later when you have recently confirmed an appointment, belittle you with explicative and f-bombs, and refuse you service then this is your place! I pulled in at my appointed time. Dave came out and asked me to leave and come back in two minutes. Before I realized what the issue was I asked if I could pull into an empty field right next to where I was parked. He yelled at me that it was not his property and I must be hard of hearing. It looked like an empty field of weeds to me, but Jackson! A FedEx truck needed to turn around in the cramped lot. The truck had room if it were to make a 3 or 5 point turn, but by now I realized what was going on and that I would turn around and leave. Dave, clearly pissed off, continued staring at me and telling me I was not able to F'in listen when all I was doing was waiting for him to take a step back so I did not hit him turning around. I guess he expected me to back all the way out his long drive and then reverse into oncoming traffic on the highway because he was preventing me from actually moving any other way where he was standing and fuming. I asked if he would move and I would turn around (he was right next to my driver's side door) he returned to yelling at me and then refused me service to what I felt was a full meltdown. I apologized repeatedly, but he continued yelling at me to park the vehicle. He had a mechanic do the quick service (about 5 minutes total) at full price and then said nothing to me as I paid the bill. In the end, I paid for the service, repeatedly apologized for 'not listening, and was never returned the favor or explanation of his behavior. Being super lame to customers is the new Jackson.

While driving down the 10% grade hill our brakes began to smoke, so I managed to pull off the road…read more We called for a AAA tow and it took them over two hours to get to us (less than five miles from their business), however, I will say there was an accident down the road they were working on. When the tow truck lady got there she did a GREAT job. Very friendly and knowledgeable, however, she is the only positive thing about this business. She suggested that we have our brakes checked and I drove to their business. The mechanic took off my tires and within 10 min said I needed new brake pads, rotors, and calipers with a quote of $2500.00. I told them I was going to get a second opinion and Wes, tried to give me the song and dance that they were only business open that could do it. I told him I was willing to risk it, since my brakes seemed fine, the rotors were not warped. He made me sign this waiver of liability and then charged me $142 for their time. So I drove down to Big O tires and had them look at it. They drove it and removed the tires to inspect the brakes. They told me that, yes, they got hot but I was in need of NO repairs and they didn't charge me a penny to tell me this. This is the worst scam in town and I cannot believe they are still in business.
