Honest, fair and competent repair service! I went into Big O with a rental car with a slow leaking…read moretire. After evaluation I was told that the tire needed replace because of a puncture in the sidewalk. And, since they didn't have the tire in the right size it would have to be ordered and would take two days. Alternatively they could replace all 4 tires with a different brand right now for "a little over $1,300. The rental company was contacted and they said "no way we're replacing the tires, they only have 16k on them and you're responsible for repairing the leaking tire". Big O said they would not attempt to repair a sidewall leak, and the would not replace only one tire; they needed to replace all 4 tires due to the wear differential between a new tire and the "old worn tires". Additionally they did not want to be responsible for the serious steering and handling issues that would occur, as well as problems with the digital dashboard that would light up with suspension problems that would register with the car's computer!! I declined their proposed solution and asked to have the tire remounted. I drove next door to Shirvens Tire Repair, they determined that it was a previous plug in the tread that was leaking and repaired the tire with a new plug and patch in 20 minutes for $34. There was no hole in the sidewall!!! We drove through Yellowstone, over Beartooth Pass, and back to Jackson via Livingston, and returned the car to Salt Lake City with no problems. Big O in Jackson Hole was a horrible, deceitful experience...stay away! Shervins is in my experienc.

But, you know I'm waiting around for the car. You have my phone number. And you already painted the best case scenario twice (once on the phone and once to my face). If something changes that drastically then TELL ME! Just be like, hey I'm sorry but some other work is taking longer than expected, do you have time to wait longer? But don't set one expectation just to get my business and then instantly leave me hanging out to dry. You think I'm going to let you touch my car after that display of bad faith? NOPE! Dishonest and Untrustworthy…read more I went to this shop expecting an honest evaluation, but instead they tried to rip me off. They told me my rotors were worn out and needed replacing -- even though my husband had just installed brand-new rotors two months ago. When I called my husband (who is a mechanic) and told him what they said, he immediately knew something was off. When confronted, the guy backpedaled and said his job was "just to give an estimate." That's not the point -- I trusted them to give me an honest assessment of my car, and they flat-out lied about work that didn't need to be done. Do not trust these people. They will make things up, replace parts and filters that don't need replacing, and take advantage of customers who don't know better. Thankfully, I had someone who could verify their dishonesty, but not everyone will. Stay far away.

In less than an hour, the rubber valve was replaced, all back to original order. I can't say enough to praise the crew at Point S.
