Almost every photographer I know with any respect for the work they do likes to see their work hanging up for all to enjoy. And whether that audience is in the hundreds, thousands, perhaps just a few or even just the original photographer themself, the picture is still important and deserves a great presentation. So, in an effort to make my work unique and a stand-out, I have begun to put my images on canvas for display in the age old artistic tradition. That's why I have come to really depend on CanvasPeople to transform my photographs from just pictures into genuine works of art that folks are pleased and proud to hang in their homes. If anything validates what you do and create then that's certainly it! Their website makes everything very simple. CanvasPeople.com is active on social media and they often run specials for FREE canvas prints in all kinds of sizes. I've ordered 11x14s, 16x20s, and on occasion 18x24s for special stuff. Without fail each piece was absolutely perfect (at least mine were) and thrilled the recipients. In those particular cases I was able to get them for just the cost of shipping & handling. Cha-Ching! Another great thing and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention them are the great folks who handle their Customer Service dept. They have bent over backwards to help me when I needed them to. Shout out to Bonny who is a "rock star goddess"who's never let me down. She's another great reason I love working with CanvasPeople! The really neat thing about CP is that they got tons of cool things and ways to showcase your pictures. You really should check out their website. If wall-space is scarce and you can't hang pictures then consider a coffee mug, a mousepad, or even a soft throw pillow with a special picture on it. I gave a pillow to my mom with a nice portrait of her and both of her granddaughters on it that just crushed it on Christmas morning! 1 star cause they make you.. but I say 0 stars.....Very disappointed with CanvasPeople, I have ordered about 10 times from this company and have set the resolution correct each time and this time I get a Blurry picture. They blame the customers, It's not even about the no refund or no replacement email that they reply to their customers. It's all about the business themselves, I get 5 sales promotion emails a day. (probably just like all of you who are subscribe to them). And I cant get one email about the quality of my order/picture, I would have loved to been able to resubmit the picture or added a replacement, but not one quality control email was sent to me. I dont even think they have a Quality Control. Because no legit business would have sent the canvas so Blurry that you cant even see the faces of the people in the picture. They have no concern for the customer to send an order like that out of their doors. They themselves would have not been happy getting an order this bad. One email would have fixed this issue and nothing from them at all, but a "Not our Fault" email. The business practices are worthless. I will never order from them again and I hope anyone reading this doesn't either. Update: I have been offered a new Canvas with a different picture for Free of charge. read more

This is my second time ordering from Canvas People, and our second one arrived just as perfectly as our first. It was a process to get the photo right. I wanted to use a very specific one and I kept getting a warning flag that the photo was not of the quality to print well. I tried several others and got the same error warning. Listen to Canvas People and their warnings, this is their job. If you want your canvas to turn out well, heed the error notices. The picture I selected didn't look how I had wanted when I previewed it, so I went back and cropped it and moved the position of the picture on the canvas. I had the picture wrapped around the frame, so I accounted for that when cropping the picture. It took a little longer to get to us than the first one, but everything is delayed these days. Also, they told us this up front when placing the order. It arrived in protective plastic and was just beautiful. We are very happy and highly recommend. My biggest advice is to take your time selecting the photo and during the placement and cropping - listen when the site makes suggestions if you want the highest quality. Also, sign up for the emails and watch for sales for the best deals. read more

I periodically came across ads for CanvasPeople and I became curious to see how easy it might be to have a picture of my own enlarged and printed on canvas. I was shocked that in basically three steps, my picture (off my phone) was uploaded, edited and ready to order. I chose a picture that I took of my Granddaughter's first watercolor painting. Her original art was on an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper that despite its beauty, was pretty worn and warped. After uploading the pic, and using their super easy editing, I saved the picture to a giant 16x32 inch framed canvas! It was fun and simple, not to mention that I got a great discount too! I had no idea how it would really look given the original was so much smaller. About a week later, the box arrived and the picture was expertly packaged. When I slid the giant piece of artwork out of the box, I was literally in tears. It was absolutely beautiful and the enlargement on canvas was spectacular! I could not be happier with my purchase and the quick, easy, perfectly crafted artwork CanvasPeople created for me! I recently placed an order with this company CanvasPeople . I can admit that I did not properly read my entire email for the promotion pricing and when submitting my order there was some type of computer glitch (maybe on my end or theirs who knows with technology) to where I never saw the final price until after my payment was submitted. So when I contacted them about the situation, not only did they give me a clear break down of the change in price that I saw but also helped assist me with any adjustments i needed. I feel customer service will often get a bad reputation for sticking to their guidelines (or in my case pointing out the obvious that i missed), but Salma was extremely helpful and prompt. I will be ordering from them again in the near future. Also I will note, I know of several people who ordered from them and its worth the shipping cost because of how well they wrap the canvas! Any damage to boxes from when they are moved around during shipping didnt seem to effect my sisters canvas at all! I am in awe as to how beautiful my canvases turned out!! I ordered 2 each as gifts for family. They both turned out absolutely beautiful! I have never ordered anything like this before so I was really nervous, but now I am addicted! I just ordered another one, this time for myself, and have plans to order 2 more in the next few weeks. These make beautiful gifts for people. A beautiful memory that will last forever! The quality was great! The colors popped! Even the wire hanger was well-made. I love the black wrap, it didnt distort the picture at all. You are given options to make this canvas perfect, its up to you to choose the proper options. As well if the picture is not of high quality it will look blurry and distorted when enlarged to the size print you choose. I was very careful when choosing the pictures I wanted to have printed on a canvas and how much zoom I added. I am over the moon happy with both of my canvases and Im sure I will be just as happy with the ones I will be purchasing in the future. I absolutely love ordinary from canvas people. They never disappoint! The canvas always gets here I'm a timely manner, a lot of the times earlier than expected. I have ordered from canvas people 6 different times now. I have each of my children's pictures from when they were 1 month old(3children total), order both my mother and mother-in-law pictures of the grandchildren for mothers day 2 years ago, and my husband and my wedding photo. Even when the quality of the picture says it's not going to be great and I should choose another picture, I stick with that picture and it still turns out better than expected. I refer all my family and friends to canvas people. The deals they are constantly having, quality of the picture and canvas, plus shipped in a timely fashion, it just cannot be beat. I ordered a a few canvas for my husband's and I anniversary... I was able to ordered three canvas. One was the 16X20 I think of him and I. The other two were a size smaller. The two were of our three boys. They turned out to be perfect! I was able to use one of their promo codes, I was very hesitant due to the fact I never seen their products, I was unsure of how safe or quick shipping would be... Once I received my canvas I was/am forever grateful! I plan on ordering more once I get more saved up. I also really like how when they are picking out photos for the canvas they let you know if the picture will print well or if it will look by by letting you know the resolution of the photo. From my understanding if it's too low or something like that would prevent the photo from looking right on the canvas. I didn't understand that right away and was frustrated most of my photos I take with my phone. But other than that I am super happy with my purchase. Couldn't be happier. read more

My first order with Canvas People was rocky. I needed the canvas in a certain time frame for an art show and didn't mind paying their extra shipping charges for a quicker shipment. After all, THEY guaranteed it. The canvas didn't arrive in the time I paid extra for. Very disappointing. When I tried contacting them to get an update, it took over a day for them to respond and they couldn't even tell me WHEN the canvas shpped. So, they need to do better with their customer service quality and response times. However when the canvas did arrive I was very pleased with the quality. Knowing that the after effects of Covid have made shipping times unreliable, I'm willing to order with them again but won't pay extra for quicker shipping. Perhaps they should put a disclaimer on their website that shipping times cannot be guaranteed. As a goodwill towards their customers. Then customers won't pay extra for something they might not get. read more

I had a slight issue with the first item they sent. The photo turned out amazing. However the frame had a defect in it. It was cracked and separated in a corner. Packaging was in great shape, so one could only determine it was an issue in material or manufacturing. Either way I reached out one evening on a weekend and was stunned to have recieved a reply to rectify the issue. And I am happy to say that I received a new one that looked just as amazing as the first and with a good frame. I can not deduct a star as the issue was solved hassle free. Even if youre slightly disappointed, document it and submit a claim, they will fix the issue. I paid absolutely nothing for them to replace the bad one. So very very pleased. Pricing is competitive with everyone else in this industry and obviously canvas people offered a sweeter deal than the rest. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be a returning customer. read more

I received a coupon code for a free 8x10 print. There was no s&h fee. The photo was slightly blurry. Not enough to make it look bad, however. I believe this is because the photo was taken from a smart phone with a smaller resolution and blown up to the 8x10 size. I don't find the company as much at fault except that they didn't notify me that the photo would be blurry. If they had I would have chosen a different one. As this was a free picture I didn't expect them to do that, though. I will use this company again in the future. If the results are the same and I'm not notified, I will not purchase from them again. I will try the 4x6 photos, as well as larger sizes, to see how they turn out. I'm looking forward to doing a canvas print and an 8x10 or 11x14 size but I will not spend the money to get the same quality of pictures that I got on photo paper. I found CanvasPeople online as I was searching for a photo-to-canvas printer as a Christmas gift for my wife. They had a promotion of a free 11x14 canvas. I ordered 2 prints: 1 promotion and a second purchase. The website process and editing was fairly simple and easy to use. Only one of the two I ordered was delivered even though the tracking said both were delivered. It's possible the second was stolen from my porch or lost in delivery. I tracked the package to no avail. I contacted CanvasPeople and not only are they replacing the missing canvas, they have offered a second for free (as the lost item was not delivered before Christmas as promised). To me, that is GREAT customer service! Replacing the missing piece would have been satisfactory. The offer of a free canvas is above and beyond! The piece that I did receive is very nice. I am very pleased with the quality and resolution for the prints that I had ordered. The canvas prints were properly aligned, had no alternations of color from the original digital image I'd prepared in Photoshop, and came via UPS in a reasonable amount of time. If I had one complaint, it would be that packaging is inconsistent. For example, my last order was for 14 prints, 16x20 and 18x24 size. The latter came four to a package and were well packed, while the former came in individual boxes that weren't as strudy and as a result, UPS crushed them slightly. Fortunately, the contents were not damaged, but it was a close thing. I would suggest more internal cardboard posts to prevent collapsing of wide, thin boxes that transport the canvas prints. I have a stairway lined with 16 X 20 canvasses made by your company. I love the effort you have done for me on a continual basis. I marvel at the work every time I see a picture of my family members as it reminds me of special times and events that have occurred in my life and now I have a permanent memory hanging on the wall. One, in particular, hangs at the base of the stairs, a photo from my son's wedding, which included my mother, who only lived 3 years after it occurred, which stirs up even more memories. I have some art work that has been done professionally but I find myself wanting to hang more family photos as they hold much more meaning to my heart and have moved them to less conspicuous areas so all my visitors can see what means the most to me. I'm very happy with the quality of the prints. My only issue is that when ordering online there is an option to uncheck the installation of the metal picture hanger on the back of the canvas. I did uncheck this option for both canvases I ordered, as I hang all pictures/canvases without nails. Both canvases arrived with the metal hanging device attached, as well as rubber "bumpers" on the bottom corners to allow the canvas to hang flatly against the wall. Removal of either of these things would damage the canvas. I tried using my method of hanging and it didn't work so I wound up having to put nail holes in my newly renovated and painted walls. Not the end of the world, but super annoying since I chose NOT to have these attached but these directions were overlooked or ignored. read more

I have bought multiple canvases from Canvas People and am very pleased with the quality print. It comes open in the back (no backing - I haven't ordered the one with the framing) and has little clear dots on the corners to protect the canvas and wall. If you order multiples, they come in individual boxes, and you can have them sent to others as a gift. I have purchased a variety of sizes from 4" to 16" and they all are good quality, and almost everyone in my family has received one as a gift because I enjoy making them so much. I have not had a problem with my orders, as of yet. The prices are a higher than I like to pay for canvases, so I watch for sales and order several different ones each time, and the prices are as good as competitors.
