The home is exactly what we needed. Clean, open, and with all of the amenities that you would expect from your own home. On the property there are horses, a rabbit, a barn cat, a pond for fishing (full of carp and sunfish), and clear open skies. I woke up at 4:30am on Saturday morning to take a picture of the comet that was visible prior to sunrise, and it was beautiful. There are several rules posted in the house on the fridge, most of which are common sense, so please respect the property and the animals, which are mostly being boarded here. Wifi is available and there was a hot tub out back which we enjoyed each night under the stars. I would definitely stay here again.

We took our two daughters (5 and 8 years old) on some of the hikes near the Hooker Falls Access parking lot. We arrived at the parking lot around 9am and the lot was already filling up, so make plans to arrive early to secure a parking spot! We went to Triple Falls first, which was a doable hike for the kiddos and took us to some really nice views of the falls. We had packed a lunch beforehand, and took that lunch then to Hooker Falls, which has some calmer waters at the base where people get in to swim and play. There is a smaller sandy beach area with shallower water which was good for younger kids to play in. It was refreshing to jump into the water after a morning packed with hiking! Again, the Hooker Falls Access seemed like a popular spot, so plan to get there early to secure a parking spot!

We hiked to High Falls and Triple Falls (both beautiful!), which I would say are moderate-level difficulty due to the inclines & some portions of the trail are loose gravel. Easy for The Hubs and I, but a tad more of a challenge for my in-laws. There are some spots with rocks just the right size to sit on and have a rest if you need a break. There are restrooms at the High Falls trailhead parking lot, and a gift shop. I'm not sure about restrooms elsewhere in the park.

My burger was quite burnt, however. The fries were good though. The amenities are all very thought through. We enjoyed the 10 minute hike we had up to a waterfall that was nearby. It was so peaceful and nice. We actually came for a destination wedding! Not sure how many weddings they do, but we had a great time. Beautiful wedding & no complaints as a guest. My husband rode a draft horse named Johnny, and it was spectacular. I don't remember my horse's name, but he was a really good horse. The horses were very well cared for and beautiful. They all seemed happy and were very gentle - they knew what they were doing on the trail which makes you feel more confident. The scenery when you're riding is absolutely spectacular. Be sure to stop along the way and ask your guide to take pictures of you. Safety first, but if you can get videos while you're up at the top of some of the hills, worth all of it. Highly recommend this place, we will definitely come back. In my opinion, the price is completely reasonable. We took the one hour ride, and it was worth every penny and more.
