It's a mountain course so you are rewarded with shots in the narrow fairways! Great clubhouse especially if you're playing early. I have no problem with people playing music from their carts but when you can hear it 2 holes away, that's a problem. Yet no one from the course was there to tell them to stop. What a shame.

This is a shoemakers dream. Unlike most mountain courses, this one does not attempt to be so hard it can't be mastered. With a mountain stream running through its entirety bad shots are paid for in golf balls and added strokes. Most courses in the area are dishearteningly difficult with holes carved out if the side of a 45 degree slope. Check out the pictures and you will agree Linville Falls is a great course! Give them your business. 5 star friendly. The clubhouse is not fully stocked and that's the only downfall. I would have bought swag if they had any that's how much I like this course! Blog Body: Layout & Difficulty: The layout of Orchard Trace is fairly straightforward, with few surprises or gimmicks thrown in. Each hole is straightforward and easy to understand, which makes it ideal for golfers of all skill levels. There are also several water hazards throughout the course that can make things interesting if you're not careful. The fairways are generally quite wide and forgiving, but there are some narrow ones as well that can be tricky to navigate. The greens are slightly undulating but mostly flat, so you don't have to worry about having to putt with any major breaks or slopes. Course Conditions & Amenities: Unfortunately, the course conditions at Orchard Trace leave something to be desired. The fairways were quite rough when I played here and the greens were slow and bumpy as well. While it may not be the best golf course around by any means - due to its rough condition - it still provides an enjoyable experience with great value for money overall! My family and I decided to spend a weekend in North Carolina. Since we enjoy the outdoors we…read moredecided to spend a part of our time hiking. We went to Little Bradley Falls, located in Saluda, North Carolina. Due to a wildfire that happened a couple of years back some of the trials are restricted for hikers. However, you are still able to see Little Bradley Falls and explore the surrounding area. The trail is pet and kid friendly, with designated paths, so you do not have to worry about getting lost. The parking lot is more of "pull of the side of the road" style parking. It was tight, but I was able to park my SUV. Although the majority of Little Bradley Falls trail was closed, the rest of the trail was well kept, and you could visibly see the park staff was working on reopening the damaged trail. The waterfall was beautiful, there is an observation area where you can see the majestic waterfall, perfect for photos. Although the trail was well cleared, one dangerous part is you have to climb over rocks in the river to get to the other side of the trail. It wasn't that difficult, but should be considered when planning your hike to Little Bradley Falls. If you are in the Saldua North Carolina area, or want to take an easy hike with the family, I would definitely recommend taking a look into Little Bradley Falls. I hope to return in the future to complete the other trailhead that is adjacent from Little Bradley Falls.
