When I first stopped here a few months back, the deals were great. They had a certain price for…read moremost things on a certain day of the week. For example, Monday was $4 in the bin section. I shopped several times and got some great bargains, but today I saw some things that were priced crazy. Before they had shipments with Target Store products, today I saw some Costco products. I shop at Costco and know some prices. I saw Glad Take Away containers that cost around $8, they were marked $16 here (plus, they looked opened and missing some). There appeared to be a lot of returned items, there were tumblers that had coffee stains inside them! Oh, I forgot to mention that the day/$ amount system is no longer in effect. They had some nice items today, Samsonite luggage, Not sure of the price, but I think over $100. They also write large prices on boxes in marker, I even saw fabric oven mitts that had the price on the fabric, also cooking pots and pans with the marker price on them. Beauty products that looked to be used and returned to a store and they are reselling them. Be careful what you're buying, as there are no returns. I would have given this store a 4 or 5 star review, but 3 stars today after seeing what I saw today. I did get some Costco clothes for $6 ea, so that was decent.

Horrible business and Customer service. I spent $600 and $300 of that was on a nonworking product…read more I took the Arcade 1up home and some of the buttons were not working. I replaced them and continued to have issues. I then spent $60 on a part that did not fix it. The other part I need is another $75. I asked if they could help or replace the part (they have several in store) and was having a conversation with one of the owners who then proceeded to read and ignore my messages for days. Then asking again and I was treated awful. They refused to help at all and claimed to not have the part. I have attached the pics of my conversation. I was also told I shouldn't have used Arcade 1up support to try to fix it. I bought a microwave, an arcade, and several small items totally around $600. This business doesn't care about customers. They want your money and then don't care if you ever return. Scum of the earth business practices from scummy people. You should be ashamed. The claim that I was allowed to fully test in store is also false. A man stood there holding the power cord and extension cord and after 3 seconds of it being on started saying everything looks good. I was rushed and sold bum product. They have at least 5 other units and claim not to have the parts to replace it. What a joke. Better Business Bureau will also be contacted. Stay away and save your money.

There are a lot of name brand and quality pieces in their shop, especially the toys: it really surprised me. We didn't really see pricing on items in the store and it is packed with products (enough so that it can be hard to find or view things), but I realized afterwards that it would be better to check their website beforehand for whatever you want and then check the site when in the store for pricing on random items you find.

I found consignment and outlet and was amazed as to how beautful the store and furniture was. I am not the best at putting things togethor in my head and was shocked as to how great the sales staff is. This is not like other places where all they care about is making a sale this is a friendly non pushy sales team. I was even able to get a large screen lcd there. Hands down I am completely satisfied with this store and would reccomend this store to anyone looking for furniture and electronics at an amazing price

Nickels Arcade is always a must stop for me when I'm in Ann Arbor…read more Located in a small alley near State Street and The Diag, Nickels Arcade offers a cobblestone pathway and numerous local shops that are so incredibly unique. Most shops are closed by 5pm or 7pm so I definitely recommend stopping by early in the day if you can. However, Nickels Arcade is still perfect to stroll by in the evening as well. I wanted to visit Bon Bon, a local chocolate shoppe, but unfortunately they were closed by the time I made it during my most recent visit. I loved that they offered a menu outside so I could still look at what they offered. Another shop I'd like to stop at during my next visit is Comet Coffee. I am always interested in finding new coffee spots and the window art on Comet's window was so inviting! Other shops in the alley include a barbershop, tobacco shop, and various antique shops. Spend an hour strolling through the shops. You won't regret it!

What a fun experience!!…read more We went to the farmer's market and walked inside the shops and loved seeing everything! Parking can be found behind the farmer's market. There is a lot where you can pay by spaces (about $2 per an hour, very affordable). There are bathrooms inside on the top floor and tables and chairs scattered throughout where you can eat lunch that can be purchased downstairs or at the farmer's market. We bought Pad Thai for $7 from Baan Phad Thai in the farmer's market and it was delicious!! We also found two amazing houseplants, Roos Rois Coffee, and fresh Apple Cider! Will definitely come back because this farmer's market and shops are fun to walk through and have unique items!

Unfortunately, I don't think there will be another store like Honey Bins again. There are other liquidation stores in the area, but none are as fun or allow the freedom to open boxes and bags to look at the products yourself. I always wondered about profit margins, given how cheap it was to buy clothes, electronics, and household goods for under $12, with Monday afternoons only costing $1.50 per item. I think a handful of people got greedy and ruined the Honey Bins concept, especially professional scalpers and the unemployed who were there early every Friday or Monday morning. Some would take all the good stuff quickly and sit there the entire Monday until the items were discounted to $1.50. The same individuals would do this week after week. It was impossible for those of us who work during the day to beat these scalpers at their game. In hindsight, I would have been fine with more rules implemented to prevent that kind of behavior so that the physical store could survive and everyone could still enjoy these great deals. I found so many great products, from electronics to household items. Some of the brand new clothes in the first year and a half of the store's opening were good too. There will be an online Honey Bins store, but it won't be the same experience as searching through the bins. Thank you for a great two years of bargain shopping!

I like the concept of Honey Bins, but I only give it 3 stars because of the setup…read more Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that you can find things here, but you have to search the bins for anything decent. It would really help if the store's staff arranged the bins better. Many of the items were missing pieces. There were boxes in the bins unopened and without labels. I had no idea what was in them. Today, I saw a few foam mattresses, heaters, vacuums, and a few bookshelves that seemed to be great deals. It's worth visiting again. It's the kind of place that you'd have to visit often and on the days that they put more merchandise out.
