This is the parking spot(lot) in between etowah park that connects old park and new park, this is a great place exactly halfway between the 2 mile path. They are in the process of buildings Popeyes in front of the parking lot. Over all easy access to both sides of the park, it is not a lighted parking lot so I recommend a flashlight after the sun goes down.

Park is nice. Not too big. Some trees for shade and some benches. Only water is in a barrel, which I didn't feel comfortable giving to the dogs when it is 93 degrees outside (not sure how long it's been there or how fresh it is). Park is clean and well maintained. We were the only ones there. Since we have 3 dogs, it was ok. Our dogs like to play together anyway.

We were the only ones there. But the grounds were excellent!

We were the only ones at the park when we went. Augustine would have loved to meet some new friends up here. Both the small dog and large dog enclosures were incredibly clean. Parking is off to the side in a less than perfect area but this won't deter me. Some might find the surrounding area to be a bit sketchy. However all of the residents of the nearby homes that saw us were friendly. I look forward to going back when there are more dogs there. It's nice to see a park with grass for the pups to run around on.

Stinks, bad maintenance, soggy. Nobody uses it because it's worth the drive to go elsewhere... not the best pet of town either.

My husband and I went to the rodeo tonight. The show was great and as much as I was enjoying it,…read moreThe seating was awful. After being kicked about 50 times from people going up and down the bleachers I was done. Not to mention the amount of REALLY young kids walking back and forth. I have 3 kids of my own and I get they get board but when they are up and down the bleachers multiple times in an hour and I am getting kicked in the back (they are young, not babies) i am not happy. We also paid over $50 for our tickets combined. I was so frustrated I just left. You shouldn't have to tell grown people to watch their kids, but apparently you really should. It wasn't necessarily the park or the event that ruined it but the people that let their kids run wild. I never comment on kids but these were not babies, these were 10 plus that were constantly up and down the cheap bleachers and were totally distracting and also blocking the view. They did ask people that were standing in front to sit down at one point but that didn't help. Simple reminders throughout might help. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Great park for joggers, kids (has playgrounds), party events (complete w/picnic tables & city…read morereservations) and great mountain bike trails. The main loop is flat dirt & gravel but the back trails are definitely for the advanced mountain bikers- so you will get a good work out. (The advanced uphill rugged terrain trails are comparable to Blankets Creek mountain bike trails also in Canton- only it's more desolate there so it can feel creepy if you're by yourself- you start to imagine bears and coyotes & snakes.) The good thing is there are always people around so it's safe park. There's tons of parking being its right next to the high school and on weekends there are always soccer teams playing or people going for a walk.

I was pleasantly surprised after just being in the area and stopping by this park…read more Even thought the small dog area was vacant there were a lot of well behaved dogs and pet parents in the large dog area. Whenever a dog might have acted out the owner immediately stepped in, which was good to see. The area itself looked to be well maintained and had a wiring fountain for the dogs. There were also a few benches for seating.

You pull up to the building and from the parking lot, you have no idea where it actually is. You just have to get out and start exploring and hope that GPS has actually landed you in the right place. You are indeed there. Walk around the community building and follow the path off to the right. There are three enclosures: big, little, and ?? I didn't walk that far because I always stop for my pup to play with the bigs. There is fresh water at the entrance, and when it's hot, there are plastic pools you can fill and mud for your dog to play in. There is some shade, but it's not every where, and the grass (as you'd probably expect) is non-existent, but it's a fun time, especially when people actually get off their phones (AND THE BENCHES) and play with their dogs.
