In my worst case, I have a somewhat demanding daughter that they were able to manage with no problem and in all other cases when I visit I am always satisfied with the quality of service. He's always able to explain on a level I can understand. I'm also impressed and appreciate their billing system in that they are very in tune with what the insurance company will compensate them for versus what the client will have to pay. I find that very handy in that there are no surprises. Overall I'm very satisfied with my experience there. There are several other such practices in the area and, frankly, I don't feel the need to look around.

To make matters worse, when I called afterward to ask questions, the staff was unfriendly and surprisingly rude. Smiles Dentistry in Canton - please stay away! At first, I was impressed, but things changed quickly. They have different cleaning charges depending on what they "find during the exam," and they require you to sign a contract agreeing to the cleaning price before they start. I had some swollen gums, which they said required a deeper clean, and I was told the cleaning would take about 45 minutes. The actual cleaning lasted less than 20 minutes, and it was no different from cleanings I've received at other in-network dentists. The same findings (swallen gums) were noted by other providers, yet none of them charged extra. Between the unexpected charges and the unprofessional attitude when I called for clarification, the whole experience was incredibly disappointing.

Absolutely horrible experience. I would not recommend them to anyone…read more First, and probably the biggest problem I have, they were not in my dental insurance network. I did not know after 3 visits and I finally found out when I was looking at my dental claims. They did not tell me. Due to this, I was out $877 since they were out of network. That is an insane amount of money to be out of because you didn't know they weren't in network. Second, I would cry at every visit I had. Whether it be by pain, anxiety, or sticker shock at what I was being charged. My mouth would be open with tears streaming down my face and work was still being done. They didn't even offer a tissue to pat them dry. Third, in my previous visit to put my crown in, they kept hounding me for money. At one point, I was lightly crying since I found out they weren't in network and the assistant came in with her calculator app open showing me that everything was going to cost me over $700 after the $907 I spent previously. I couldn't leave since they still needed to put the crown on. Speaking of the crown appointment, my appointment was at 3 and I didn't get the dentist until 3:50. During those 50 minutes, I was hounded for financials and kept being told "only a few more minutes". When he finally came in to put the permanent crown on, I told him that it was pressing on my gums and it wasn't fitting right. He told me that I would get used to it since the temporary crown was a different shape. I waited 5 days and I did not get used to it. I went to another dentist and they said I was hitting hard on that tooth so no wonder I was feeling something there. At the end of this visit, I was hounded yet again about financials. The only redeemable fact about this dentist is that they found an infection in an old root canal so I was able to get that fixed in time to save the tooth. The front staff is really nice but I'll never forgive them for not telling me I wasn't in network.

I had the radiograph set sent to their office and only when I was in the chair they started saying the radiographs were "grainy" and of sub par quality and that a full new set needs to be taken (costing hundreds of dollars more). I was only there for a routine teeth cleaning visit, no root canal, crown or even injection into the nerve roots was required. The female dentist refused to proceed with exam or cleaning unless I had a full new set of radiographs taken, subjecting me to completely unnecessary ionizing radiation when they had a full set including panoramic view taken less than a year ago. I feel this is a financially predatory practice policy that subjects the patient to unnecessary radiation. You should be able to trust your dentist, however, I would not trust them with any of their care recommendations after seeing how money focused they are with a routine teeth cleaning visit.

When we relocated to Cartersville in 2017, we started at a local dentist here, but after two years of emotional and physical torture, I decided to make the 40 minute drive back to Dameron, and boy, am I glad I did. What a difference. The office is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The staff is superb. The hygenists are wonderful, gentle and caring. I won't be going anywhere else from now on!

I have had nothing but problems with my dentures. I got them in 2024, and I have had the lowers break 2x, and the uppers lost the soft reline after about 5 months. I paid for the top quality and the only thing they could say after they break is that I am a heavy/hard chewer. I feel like the highest cost dentures should be better quality.

I kept telling them that food was getting in the gaps they missed. They know I have SLE LUPUS. I tell Drs over and over again to ensure they understand I'm not a normal patient. He said they would replace it for free since I already paid $7k. I paid for a proper procedure. I did not get that. I kept telling them they were done incorrectly. They kept putting it off. The Dentist left and started his own Aspen Dental. The dentist after him also said they did it wrong so they would do it correctly. Now they are saying they can not stand by their word. I had an some doubt because while sitting in the waiting room on several different occasions I could hear them gouging people. I reiterated that I have SLE LUPUS and I can't have infections in my mouth. It could cost me my life. They were not concerned at all. They charged my insurance on a day I wasn't even there. I will report the fraud. They only care about money. DO NOT USE ANY ASPEN DENTAL CARE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.
