I needed to edit this 2 star review and say they have fixed my issue. The Canton staff has changed a bit and everyone was so helpful. Get dentures anywhere else. I have had nothing but problems with my dentures. I got them in 2024, and I have had the lowers break 2x, and the uppers lost the soft reline after about 5 months. I paid for the top quality and the only thing they could say after they break is that I am a heavy/hard chewer. I feel like the highest cost dentures should be better quality. read more

@everyone This happened at Aspen Dental Canton Ga. . Also, they did a bridge and crown a few years ago for me. The Dentist did both of the procedures wrong. I kept telling them that food was getting in the gaps they missed. They know I have SLE LUPUS. I tell Drs over and over again to ensure they understand I'm not a normal patient. He said they would replace it for free since I already paid $7k. I paid for a proper procedure. I did not get that. I kept telling them they were done incorrectly. They kept putting it off. The Dentist left and started his own Aspen Dental. The dentist after him also said they did it wrong so they would do it correctly. Now they are saying they can not stand by their word. I had an some doubt because while sitting in the waiting room on several different occasions I could hear them gouging people. I reiterated that I have SLE LUPUS and I can't have infections in my mouth. It could cost me my life. They were not concerned at all. They charged my insurance on a day I wasn't even there. I had a very bad experience with Aspen Dental in Canton, GA. I was a new patient in May 2024. The office' dentist said I had a cracked filling in my lower left rear molar and that I needed a crown. I was not experiencing any pain at all, but felt I should get the crown to prevent further decay of the tooth. When I called to schedule the crown procedure, I was told the office' regular dentist was on medical leave, but that there would be another temporary dentist until a new dentist was hired. I thought there would be one dentist hired for 2-3 months. Instead, the practice brought in a series of dentists, most only present for a few days. I didn't learn about this until I had already started the crown prep. I would never have started the crown process had I known I could not be seen consistently by the same dentist. In total, I saw 5 dentists over 8 appointments for my crown. From the start, both the temporary and permanent crowns were problematic. I went from having no pain before the crown procedure to constant pain after. At times, the pain was excruciating and caused both my upper and lower left jaw to be very inflamed. I could not chew on the left side of my mouth. The crown was adjusted 5 times. When I went back for the 6th adjustment, the dentist said I needed to see the in-house endodontist. I did have an appointment with him. He said I had a bad infection under the crown, pushing up the crown and further interfering with my bite and upper teeth, and that I needed a root canal. The Aspen office manager met with me to schedule a root canal with the in-house endodontist. However, by that time, I had completely lost faith in Aspen. I told her I was going to see another outside endodontist. The office manager asked me what she could do to make me happy. I told her they could refund half of the fees I had paid their office, since they had only made my problem worse. She refused, even though Aspen had used up almost all my dental insurance benefits, meaning that I was going to have to pay out of pocket for another endodontist to perform the root canal. Then, I had to struggle to get my x-rays. At first the office manager said she would send me my x-rays via email. Later that day, she did send me x-ray images within the body of an email, which meant that my new dental offices could not upload the x-ray files into their system. But, the worst part was that the images she sent me were obviously NOT MY TEETH. I was stunned. I thought that Aspen might be more cooperative if they got a call from my new endodontist. That office called Aspen the next day and requested the x-ray files. The Aspen office manager refused to send anything over, saying they had given me the x-ray images the day prior. Again, they had sent me images of someone else' teeth! I had to fight to get my x-rays, which under HIPAA laws belong to me. Aspen corporate office finally did send me all my x-rays on a CD. Obviously, I won't be going back to Aspen. Two days ago, I paid over $1,800 to a private endodontist to repair the issues that Aspen created. The pain relief was immediate. Four-and-a-half months of pain, from July to early November, ended. On the plus side, Aspen did bring in a new permanent dentist. By the time I saw her, the problems with my crown were firmly entrenched. She did listen to me, and, gratefully, she was the one who recognized that I needed to see an endodontist. read more

They changed my appointment time without telling me, then gave me a hard time for being late, then didn't have enough time to do what my appointment was for and I had to schedule yet another appointment. Second, charged me for a mouthpiece which didn't fit, and made my teeth move. I didn't not request it - and it wasn't cheap. Sorry no refunds. I won't go back. read more

I had dentures made here in 2014, very good stuff, very quick. I came back to get new ones as my top denture broke. This was in July. I didn't get my first attempt at a top denture til October after staffing changes. It was good fit, just the front tooth was too short. I asked that they leave everything the way it was except for that tooth. About a month later, I get a new one in. It fits, but the top part that does some holding is now covering my existing teeth. Hideous. Why the change? I ask for that to be fixed. Month later, get it new one, does not fit the same at all, and did not address my original issue at all. Office Manager and Doctor tried to blame me, and refer me to someone else, but did offer me my money back. Haven't gotten that yet. This process started so long ago, I've paid interest on that money spent, and I have the time and gas I used , all gone, for nothing. This is why they will blame you, they know it's more than just the money, that's 6 months of time, just wasted. (WITHOUT A FUNCTIONAL TOP DENTURE). Nobody offered me a temporary , I guess we all thought surely it can't take too long. This place was great, but now it's not. Always short staffed. Turnover. Lab work is incorrect. read more

Dr. O is a very kind man. He was very empathetic to my pain and not dismissive. That is hard to find in a doctor these days. He is compassionate, gentle, and does the most to make sure that you are comfortable during your procedure. As someone with autism, I greatly appreciate these factors about Dr. O. I came here, hoping to get my periodontal disease taken care of , but instead I had my privacy exploited and my reputation slandered. The dentist asked me if I smoked , and knowing that you can't fix my teeth properly without knowing everything , I admitted to them that yes, I smoke weed three or four times a day. She asked me if probably maybe it could be around five times a day she threw the number five out there and I just said yes maybe 5 times a days . anyways the weed I smoke, by the way is delta eight flower and is completely legal. well, she contacts DCFS and they called me the next day telling me the dentist said that I said I smoke marijuana five times a day, and that I was unable to answer their questions and I kept forgetting things and I was stumbling around, which none of that is true so I told that to DCFS and I told them that the weed I smoke is delta eight flower and they told me just next time br sure to mention that and that this was a misunderstanding, but don't go out and smoke delta eight and drive even though I didn't. So because of their phone call, I was investigated by DCFS which went perfect because I'm a great mom and my house is very clean and my son has lots of toys and we have all kinds of food but just letting you know what you're getting into and what you should and shouldn't say to this dentist.! just being a helpful friend.! read more

After being shut out by Aspen Dental in Blue Ridge, GA, I made an appointment with Aspen Dental in Canton Ga. I again was given an appointment the following week after I explained again that I was having a tooth ache and needed to have a filling or extraction. The week of the appointment I was contacted by Aspen Dental telling me I had to have an earlier appointment because the dentist needed 1 1/2 hours to see me and couldn't see me at my 4:00pm appointment. Today I went in for a consultation in preparation for two crowns and also to have a replacement filling for a crack in my front tooth. The actual x-ray technician did a fantastic job it was very timely in her turn around of x-rays. After that, the hygienist came in and did her portion of the exam and explain what she did. Upon leaving the room, she stated that she would let the doctor know that I was ready to be seen. Afterwards, I sat in the chair for over an hour and waited on Dr. O. Upon entering he asked how was doing, to which I replied, I'm not doing very well. He asked me why and I stated in that I have been waiting over an hour to see him. He stated that the hygienist did not let him know that I was ready to be seen. Upon leaving the exam room, I heard Dr. O and the hygienist arguing about who's fault it was. Shortly after, the office manager came in and asked how was doing. I shared with her the experience and she said several times that she's sorry. To which I responded, so am I. And begin to explain to her this sorry is not acceptable when you're waiting for over an hour for the physician to come in and go over your exam. Rudely, she ask what would you like for me to do? I said there's nothing that you can do. I would like to get my information from today and take it with me. I do not believe that you will be a fit for me and my services. I can understand oversights, but I do not tolerate empty apologies and no effort on their end to make any compensation for their errors. I would not recommend anyone wasting their time to visit this location ever. If there was an option for zero for ratings, They received -0. I went as a new customer to this location and I had a 9 a.m. appointment. I got there fifteen minutes early. The receptionist had me fill out some new client forms and I did so. There was only one person in the waiting room so I thought I'd be seen quickly. At 9:20 am I was still waiting, but two other customers came in while I was waiting and they were taken in. At 9:30 am still no one helped me further. I got up and left. I'll never go back there again. read more

The dentist is nice and seems ok. However the office staff/sales people are incompetent. They will not explain what really will happen with your procedure. You will be lied to. You will have appointments scheduled for you but you will not be told about them. You will be overcharged by hundreds of dollars over the quote. You will NOT be able to contact anyone if you have a problem with your dentures after hours. The dentures will not fit your mouth correctly. You will be given NO input about what the dentures look like. The answering service is not allowed to page them for problems with your new dentures. You will be blamed for their mistakes. To whom this may concern: I attended this appointment today and to say the very least it was the worst and most disappointing dentist appointment I have every attended. I set up an appointment for a cleaning. After 2 hours, what I didn't have was a cleaning or any actual work done. I did have xray's completed and a estimated quote for a cleaning of over $726.40 which was after insurance and such, not to mention $30 less for this "cancer" check which was done and then I was told it was going to cost $30, and please sign this paper work. We just moved to Georgia and were looking to have myself and family find a dentist we would know and trust but for a waste of my team this was a awful. In the past when I got a new dentist, they have taken the xray's if needed and completed a cleaning as the insurance would cover. Then they would discuss further treatment options and how to proceed. I have never heard or had to be explained that, "we will present you will all the information" before doing a actual check up and 6 month cleaning. At the end, I was approached by the "consultant" with a worksheet of what I could pay that day which was over $500 for a cleaning when this is covered under insurance. She stated that we can get in you today to get the cleaning started which I responded, I don't have time for this and didn't expect a normal cleaning to take over 2 hours with no work completed and being asked for another 30 min to an hour. When did a normal cleaning to a dentist office take close to a 1/2 day? Overall, I feel like this is a scam to get additional funds for work that is covered and was a complete was 2 hours wasted of my team where I could have went to a different dentist and could have been treated with respect for my time. I just can not fathom how I went to a dentist office and spent 2 hours and come home with absolutely nothing completed. Again, this is awful and disgraceful of a practice that was run. I will not be returning for any business nor will my family. I will find another dentist. I don't ever send feedback to companies but this was the worst service that I have ever received. It was my first time visiting for an exam and I absolutely loved my experience. Everyone was so sweet and patient with me and listened to all of my worries and what gave me anxiety. It felt so nice to be there and I look forward to continuing my relationship with them. Miranda was the best and kept the atmosphere light and happy. She has lots of jokes and the brightest smile! Even the rooms themselves are much more private than most dental offices I've been in. I'm not staring directly at another client who's also getting dental work. There are small TV's that are good for a distraction while they're doing their work. They even show you what they're looking at and are willing to answer any and all questions as to how everything works. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who has any anxiety or has a hard time trusting new dentists/surgeons. They will take good care of you! read more

Aspen Dental refuses to provide dental services to seniors with Medicare insurance. How do they sleep at night?

Just don't go here, please. After sitting with my crowns a few months I had to come update my review as I no longer feel the way I did before. I had two crowns put in at this location it was an ok experience, kind staff. They had to make me two sets of crowns since the initial crowns weren't right. It took WEEKS for the new set, and significantly held up my life as I was moving and had to stay in Georgia an extra MONTH due to their short comings with the first set of crowns not being right. Both crowns have since fallen off multiple times. One has shattered and is still partially glued to my tooth. It's not even been a year since they were put on. I will have to travel from out of state to have them replaced since I no longer live in Georgia. My new dentist refused to help me or work with the crowns due to their status and improper installation. I've been dealing with this for a month now, with no crowns and they can't see me for another 2 weeks. No rush to help me or make this right. I will also have to foot the bill to travel to them for two more appointments (this will make 6 total). Absolutely unbelievable. They are supposed to replace the crowns free of charge but they still won't provide me with that in writing. Go to a real dentist. read more

Their receptionist staff is completely rude and discourteous and they have no idea what customer service or respect is! This business is a scam and will knowingly and willfully refuse to do a requested service before they force you to complete almost a dozen other unnecessary and expensive procedures that you do not want all while charging you a large fortune! They will quote you one price and then after the procedure, and after you have paid a few hundred dollars, they will send you a bill for another couple of hundred dollars a few weeks down the road despite pretending to be monetarily transparent. They will also send you out for dental work to places that are even more unscrupulous then they are! Aspen will quote you one price for the work and the place they send you to will hit you with a price that is 2-3x what Aspen quotes you. This dental office was visited for an emergency extraction on tooth #2. Instead of doing an extraction As I requested. Dr Reichman Instead put a filling in the tooth which had infection and sent me to an oral surgeon. When I got to the oral surgeon he was told to pull tooth #11 which is an implant. I told them that it was referred wrong and I called Aspen Dental in Canton to have the referral corrected. Instead of fixing their mistake Miranda told me that the dentist went to college and knows what he's doing. I told her that a mistake was in fact made and she hung up on me. When I called back to tell her I had not been able to eat due to the pain and needed the referral corrected to reflect the tooth causing me pain and her reply to me was if you have an eating disorder then you need to see your primary care provider! I became so upset that I literally started crying on the phone. Aspen Dental did not care about the fact that I'm still in pain and they sent me to an oral surgeon indicating the wrong tooth to be extracted! Miranda White the TC on the phone with me told me they'd just refund my money and I could find another dentist. I've been treated badly by this dentist and will never go back again. The office staff was wonderful. The actual dentist ..... Not so much! She was fast, didn't really want to listen, and talk to me on options for my teeth. Yes I have bad teeth so I need warm and fuzzy comfort but she was horrible! I was called to come in early if I could so I arrived 15 minutes early and then waited a few. Then when she came into the room she was short and non-comforting. Then after she left not but 3 minutes later I heard her talking loud enough I could hear, her tell everyone bye. She had to go. So clearly she is focused more on her leaving and going wherever she needed to be than me. I was very very very disappointed! My dad went to aspen dental about 2 years ago. It's 2020 and there is a pandemic and Aspen has the audacity to send my dad a letter in the mail saying that he's in collection because he hasn't payed off his balance which is clearly a lie because he payed $2,000 out of pocket and didn't get any work done. Aside from that, he would go to his appointments, arrive 15 minutes early in case he had paperwork to fill out. Tell me why these people made him waste 3 hours only to say, "No your teeth are okay but you need an X-ray because you have an infection in your gums" Aspen Dental, if you read this, You are a scam and know that your dirty work is slowly coming out of the closet. Also, Cherokee Family Dental has better service than you and they aren't charging any type of fee for each visit and they are honest about what they do and the things they will be charging for AND they actually help you find a way to make payments instead of paying everything all at once. Please don't go here!! My husband went here to get dentures and its been over a year and still they can't get his dentures right! First set came and it looked like he had baby teeth ,second set are a little better but the 2 teeth he did keep in front are still larger then the dentures. We are paying $4000 for these!!! We got it financed with the Dental First they offer. You can only use this at Aspen. My son needed work done . His total came to $10,000 ! Yes folks $10,000 for cleaning and fillings ! We have insurance so they gave us a insurance discount per say of $ 5000 and then our insurance benefits $1,500 came off of that . Still $4,000 . My husband took him and they made him feel like he was getting a good price ,because they took off the $5000 ! They charged our financing before he walked out the door $3000 without any work even being done!!! When he got home I was very upset! I had him call Dental First and they took care of us and refunded the money and are investigating now . O yea , my son went in for his first appointment before all this and my husband wasn't with him . They handed him a tooth brush and he said thanks. When he got home we asked where did he get the tooth brush and he said they just gave it to him. We just thought they were trying to be nice , because of all the trouble we have had. Guess what ? We got a bill in the mail for $135! They should of told him what the tooth brush cost and not acted like they were just giving it to him!! read more

I had a horrible experience going to this practice. I stopped by to get a small chip in the edge of my front tooth fixed. It had been fixed before and lasted for 5 years before I bit down wrong on some hard candy. I asked the African American receptionist if I could get my tooth fixed for an interview. I said I didn't want an X-ray, cleaning or anything else. She said have a seat and fill out this paperwork. She was rude and blunt. I noticed other patients coming in that were Hispanic and they were treated nice. I turned in the paperwork and the receptionist snatched it out of my hand. There was another white woman working behind the counter. She occasionally would bring a folder over to the receptionist. As she turned around the receptionist would give her a hateful look behind her back. I waited for half an hour just to make an appointment. I came back two days later on time for my appointment. I waited 45 minutes with no one in the waiting room. The receptionist called me to the counter and said I would need to get an X-ray in order to get my tooth fixed. I've never lost my temper in public before but this time I did. I indicated how angry I was and she just smiled at me. I feel this was because I was white. Don't go here! I'm not a racist but we don't need this in Canton. read more

The staff is wonderful, new doctors often it seems. I like the new ones now. No use of gas which is disconcerting for us white knuckling anxious patients, and not much concern for people who have small mouth that need lots of work and have our mouth open for lengthy times (mostly my daughter which creates more anxiety). Front desk person is over worked and I'm sure she is underpaid , she is a big part of why I keep going back. Love Shawn! The patient base has increased tenfold since I started there, please allocate more help there. The exam rooms could look less like dental rooms, it's all like business.
