One of our first (and absolute best) random find on our getaway trip to Azores. And I love tea! We never made it to the plantations but was happy to see ao many offerings from the local sources. We took our time sipping our aromatic teas, nomming at our simple sandwiches, crunching and chewing at the contrasting textures of our black pudding pineapple... and just felt the warm sun and heard the birds and felt present and at peace. This really help set the relaxing foundation for our next few days. Never have I been so thankful for a cafe to exist in exactly the way it was meant for me to experience.

Also, the view here is absolutely breathtaking! We were fortunate that the sky had just cleared up when we visited and there's nothing like overlooking the rows of tea field with the town and ocean as the backdrop. The tour guide was a wonderful and knowledgeable young lady. The tea was fantastic. The factory's terrace has a spectacular view over the tea plantations and of the Porto Formoso town. Seriously, the view is insanely gorgeous. 5 stars.
