As well, the octopus salad and the gnocchi with mixed seafood was ordered from other guests at our table whom said were delicious! The best part of this lunch, a tray of fresh fish was wheeled out to the table and you got to select which catch of the day you wanted and how you would like it to be cooked. We all made our selections and saw that the same fish was offered to the next guests at another table, but 6 of the fish ( from the 10) that were offered to us were missing; meaning...they served fresh fish only... and when it was gone it was gone ( no frozen or old fish here)!!!! The fish was prepared exquisitely and our overall experience was beyond excellent! A bit pricey...but worth the it.

We ate three fish, one of which is called "Pezzogna", grilled, cooked very well with different side dishes, while another guest tasted the delicacies of the chef both for the appetizer and for a particular dish of turbot. Both of us were happy with our meals and we only spent under €40. We sat outside because the air conditioning inside really was not working very well, and it seemed outside was the cooler option. Wait staff was efficient but not friendly. Though I don't mind that after a long day of traveling. All in all a good choice and within walking distance of one of the best in on the coast, south of Rome.

The spaghetti was also tasty with generous portions although we did find it a bit salty. Thankfully, we used the leftover lemon from the octopus to cut through some of the saltiness. Overall, a place with solid food.

Choosing a la carte will take a while to make as it will be made to order (around 20 mins?), while glass counter items are cheaper and just reheated for you should you choose to eat in (yes, from a microwave). You order at the counter then seat yourself wherever. I had the spaghetti con vongole and was utterly shocked by the freshness, not a hint of fishiness, no grit, no sand. Spaghetti was buttery and just the right amount of flavor. Also had the cacio e pepe with mussels. Again, so fresh, so clean. Mussels were *just* cooked so they were super tender. Portions were kind of small, but I thought that was a fair exchange for the quality. We also ordered the seafood risotto from the counter, which was a bigger portion, though not so much seafood, but that was only 5€. Three primis plus large water totaled to only €26. And to think just earlier a nearby restaurant handed me a flier where lunch sets started at €25 per person!
