Great wait staff that were friendly and helpful. They helped direct others in the wine selections and it was on point. The bruschetta on the specials board and the mixed were enjoyed by the entire table. We the meatball special, 2 of the lasagna specials and a bolognese lasagna and everything was delicious. Panna Cotta and espresso rounded out the meal followed by limoncello. Make sure you have a reservation as this is a small quaint place.

The napkin my daughter drew. She's was so excited it was still up when we went back at the end of our trip (2 weeks later)

Excellent food. Service is also quick and friendly. Ambiance is smaller local feel. We love that our daughter's thank you napkin was still up at the end of our trip (2 weeks later).

This cute little place was downstairs from our Airbnb when visiting Rome so we stopped in one afternoon and we're very impressed. One of the owner/managers was there taking care of us and helped me to pick a few different wines to try based on my likes. He had some excellent recommendations. He made the experience. I actually just sent my cousin to stop by while he was visiting Rome and he really enjoyed it too.

What a wonderful place. We've tried multiple flavors of bruschetta as well as lasagna. Everything was delicious. The people were amicable, and the service was impeccable. Recommend it!

Cantina Belsian is out of this world! Fabrizio and his staff are so warm and welcoming! My husband and I discovered this place on the last night of a trip we took in January a few years ago. Unfortunately, that night they were having a private party so we couldn't go in and eat. The meat and cheese trays looked so amazing! Fast forward five years, we messaged them on Facebook and they reserved a table for us on our 25th anniversary trip to Rome. It did not disappoint!! I couldn't recommend this place more! If I could give it 1000 stars I would. This is hands-down our favorite place in Rome. Thank you Fabrizio and staff for such a wonderful experience!!

Pecorino and all that prosciutto x salami and cheese glory!!! All for me!!

Love!!! Roaming in Rome is my favorite thing to do every summer! This area is super uber busy!! Since I was rolling solo: I decided to check out this place for a drink before my late lunch! And whoa! Hello cheesesssss!!! So happy I came here. Like beyond. I dined here alone for a good hour plus each time and I must say! A whole lot of love for this place. I actually ended up skipping my meals after. I also stumbled out of here tango-ing ( involuntary)! That wine hits you hard! The good: the wineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! The surprise: epic cheese plates!! Oui!! I mean come on! I usually don't have to get all the charcuterie when I'm in rome cause well my family makes them oh so amazing in all of their homes. And I get so plenty of them and never needed to seek them out. Prosciutto, salami, coppa cola! You name it, they make it. And homemade cheeses too. Parmigiano being the most expensive and time consuming. At least those wheels and barrels are. So much so that we tried smuggling them in in our luggage :) Anyway, back to the platters here! Hello, Formaggi!! I mean it is beyond. Its not supposed to be a meal but I ate so much and half 2/3 left over. The honey was a great touch! Did I say pecorino??? That amazing Roman sheep cheese??? it is orgasmic! And beyong! And rome is where you have this!! Wine: well I usually always do cab saug or pinot grigio depending on the weather. But mostly: its all about red and vino di casa. The waitress was super cool and helped me picked out a few!! A few too many. For being right smack in the middle of Rome and a stone throw away from the most expensive shops on Via Del Corso: their prices are super reasonable! I mean Roma isn't cheap! But the wines here are definitely cheaper than others. Overall, I love sipping, savoring and snapping here! You'll see typical old romans outside: smoking and drinking. Talking about their wives! Inside is like a mini cellar. Tall tables and chairs! Unique art! And that massssivvvveeeeeee cheese plate! They do have other stuffs too but I had their cheese plates a few times. It is magnifico!! I left happy and drunk!!!!!

    Great place.

When in Italy we found this restaurant. Very small and cozy. Lasagne was some of the best I ever had. Everything was top notch and we even went out of our way to come back two weeks later. Both visits were exceptional. The three employees were fantastic and always took care of our needs. First time there for $40 euro we had an appetizer, two entree and a bottle of wine. When we get back to Rome we will visit again.

Amazing find! Delicious bruschetta, carpaccio and pasta. Quaint and without too much flair. Perfect lunch spot.

The lasagna bolognese is fantastic. Very close to the Spanish steps, if you're close and hungry, definitely stop in!

With a minimum amount of tables able to be dined at inside, if you are able to grab a place, then, by all means, do it. My nephew and I enjoy finding these smaller, fine food establishments and this one did not disappoint. This was to be our last lunch in Roma so we joyfully consumed the very tasty mozzarella and ham and the Bruschetta appetizers and then I had my way with an incredible lasagna, where Il Piccolo did not skimp on the meat (as is done is some restaurants). Great meaty and cheesy flavor with a hint of spinach and some other subtle spices. Pure heaven. My nephew had ravioli which must have been great as he did not speak after receiving his plate. Highly recommended -- to one and all

The staff was friendly and, in the typical way of Rome, didn't rush us at all. We sat and read through our Rick Steves' guide book and just enjoyed a good hour of conversation and taking in the sights and sounds around us. You have to walk past a small gauntlet of eateries with waiters or hosts outside encouraging you to come to their restaurant, as is typical in areas where there are many tourists. When we came upon this Enoteca Piccolo no one was doing that here, and no one did during our entire stay. It was quaint and charming and quickly filled up with other Italian-speaking patrons. Since I've now read other reviews about their good wine selection, I'd like to go back to try that, too.
