Highly recommended!…read more We have stopped in here with friends on several occasions. It's right off of Campo de Fiori and it's a nice respite from the pushy restauranteurs and the sometimes loud musicians in the square. It's very low key and a great place to be able to sit and chat and actually hear the other people talk without having to yell. It's almost like you are sitting in a little wine cellar. Shelves of wine adorn the walls so it's very cozy. It would be a great place to bring a date for sure. On our most recent visit, the gentleman that served us was especially helpful and welcoming. We asked about the various food and wine offerings and after we settled on a cheese board, the gentleman proceeded to suggest some wine pairings and also walked us through the different cheeses on the board and how they were made and what made each of them unique. It was a very nice experience and we again made a mental note that on our next trip to Rome, we would definitely be visiting L'Angolo Divino again!

If you ever go to Rome it's worth a trip to this wine shop to stock up on amazing and reasonably priced wine.

Clearly superior ingredients, including the cheeses of which they use three, superior pasta, and a chef that knows what he's doing! Relative to the wine I had tonight, they have a very large selection of wines where it literally numbers in the hundreds. The 2020 Cesari Amarone I had with dinner was exceptional (rated 4.2 in Vivino). I ended up getting two glasses while dining. Earlier in the day before dinner, I came in for several glasses of locally produced whites that were very good as well and were recommended by the hostess. For you wine snobs that are out there this is truly is a restaurant you want to check out as they have all price points here and kudos to the owner for stocking a very diversified and excellent selection of wines! This restaurant comes across as a very classy establishment as the selection of wines adorn literally three of the four walls within the business. It has a bright clean interior with a nice comfortable vibe to it where any wine aficionado will love the place. It also offers outdoor dining for those that want this environment however, there is quite a bit of foot traffic and cars that go by this restaurant which kind of minimizes the enjoyment of the outside dining Overall, this is an outstanding restaurant if you're looking for a superior dining experience that won't break the bank and enjoy a glass of finer wine, you should definitely check this place out. Five stars in my book all day long.

We ordered an Old Fashioned and Mojito for Apéritif and enjoyed both. Once again we moved to another table that was outside but with cover once we decided to stay for dinner. Cool Bar area and a party room that housed their extensive collection of Wine. Outdoor seating was okay. We started with the Roman style Artichoke-seemed like it was missing something so we asked for some olive oil and Balsimic vinegar which made a huge difference. The Burrata/Prosciutto starter didn't disappoint with mild, slightly salty Ham. I asked the server which she would recommend-Sea Bass or Frutti de Mare Spaghetti-Frutti de Mare (Poseidon) it is. Full of fresh seafood with a very light tomato sauce-delicious! Were able to substitute spaghetti for ravioli in the Pesto/sundried tomato entree which was a nice touch-Pesto sauce was amazing! We paired it with a recommended Rose-Calafuria-just right fruity with 100% Negroamaro grape. Service was engaged and attentive. Make this Monti stop for their extensive cocktail and wine selections!

And whoa! Hello cheesesssss!!! So happy I came here. Like beyond. I dined here alone for a good hour plus each time and I must say! A whole lot of love for this place. I actually ended up skipping my meals after. I also stumbled out of here tango-ing ( involuntary)! That wine hits you hard! The good: the wineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! The surprise: epic cheese plates!! Oui!! I mean come on! I usually don't have to get all the charcuterie when I'm in rome cause well my family makes them oh so amazing in all of their homes. And I get so plenty of them and never needed to seek them out. Prosciutto, salami, coppa cola! You name it, they make it. And homemade cheeses too. Parmigiano being the most expensive and time consuming. At least those wheels and barrels are. So much so that we tried smuggling them in in our luggage :) Anyway, back to the platters here! Hello, Formaggi!! I mean it is beyond. Its not supposed to be a meal but I ate so much and half 2/3 left over. The honey was a great touch! Did I say pecorino??? That amazing Roman sheep cheese??? it is orgasmic! And beyong! And rome is where you have this!! Wine: well I usually always do cab saug or pinot grigio depending on the weather. But mostly: its all about red and vino di casa. The waitress was super cool and helped me picked out a few!! A few too many. For being right smack in the middle of Rome and a stone throw away from the most expensive shops on Via Del Corso: their prices are super reasonable! I mean Roma isn't cheap! But the wines here are definitely cheaper than others. Overall, I love sipping, savoring and snapping here! You'll see typical old romans outside: smoking and drinking. Talking about their wives! Inside is like a mini cellar. Tall tables and chairs! Unique art! And that massssivvvveeeeeee cheese plate! They do have other stuffs too but I had their cheese plates a few times. It is magnifico!! I left happy and drunk!!!!!

Tastevere's owners bring the food in fresh daily from their farm. They are very proud of the fact that all of the food is organic and home-grown. Their meat and cheese plate with mortadella, prosciutto, and pecorino cheeses with various types of honey was the highlight. I will definitely come back for an aperitivo or light meal here. It is not often that you can eat healthy when snacking on delicous nibbles, but that is exact the case at Tastevere.

This was to be our last lunch in Roma so we joyfully consumed the very tasty mozzarella and ham and the Bruschetta appetizers and then I had my way with an incredible lasagna, where Il Piccolo did not skimp on the meat (as is done is some restaurants). Great meaty and cheesy flavor with a hint of spinach and some other subtle spices. Pure heaven. My nephew had ravioli which must have been great as he did not speak after receiving his plate. The staff was friendly and, in the typical way of Rome, didn't rush us at all. We sat and read through our Rick Steves' guide book and just enjoyed a good hour of conversation and taking in the sights and sounds around us. You have to walk past a small gauntlet of eateries with waiters or hosts outside encouraging you to come to their restaurant, as is typical in areas where there are many tourists. When we came upon this Enoteca Piccolo no one was doing that here, and no one did during our entire stay. It was quaint and charming and quickly filled up with other Italian-speaking patrons. Since I've now read other reviews about their good wine selection, I'd like to go back to try that, too.
