(great photo opps) The main room is ornately decorated with vintage rugs, wood end tables and velvet couches. There is a small bar and a vintage claw foot bathtub that is used to chill beverages. Additionally there is a full kitchen with two additional specially themed rooms and a small private alcove. You can bring your choice of food and beverages (the kitchen is useful) to be served to your guest for whatever event you are celebrating and there is room for a DJ to set up also. I was in attendance for a private party and there was good use of the entire space. The opportunity for dancing was readily available however, the rugs can be a trip hazard so it's important to be careful. Unfortunately I failed to get pics of the awesome highlights about the space that I mentioned but do know it was pretty cool and a great change of pace and atmosphere. Just A Note: The elevator was out of service (12/30/18) and there were extension cords running up and down the stairs which was a cause for concern. Olga said no its ok... but brought up the fact that we didn't schedule anything over and over again (while rolling eyes and having a nasty tone in her voice). And we were technically in a church, how are you going to be so angry and judgmental in a CHURCH?! FYI, the professional thing to do is say you're unable to show the space (though there wasn't much to see) at that time and you're sorry for mishap but you're glad to show it to us another time and offer to schedule something! Yes, the views are amazing, however the weather has to be just perfect. Especially if you plan to use the outdoor patio. Which, why wouldn't you? The space itself is not for large groups, wedding party size approximately 50. Plus the wait, bar & other service staff. The location is prime, if you plan to take a car, remember this is NYC & traffic is bad. You can probably walk faster than a cab or car service. Especially during the month of December. NYC gets more visitors in December than all year long. The venue has 2 bathrooms for women which is not good, however worked for this crowd. Think of this location as a once in a lifetime, only if you have the funds for this location. As guests we were thrilled to be invited to such a lavish wedding!

It was such a gem to find this place because we couldn't find any other very conveniently located space that could fit us and would fit our budget. The offices are so amazing I was really in awe of how it was set up. Coming from the cold and murky streets around the FiDi area, it was almost like entering a haven when you ring the bell at the lobby and head up the stairs. The space was so clean and refreshing with their modern and minimalistic design. I also really loved working with Noga to get my logistics needs satisfied. She was so responsive and was very professional. She was brilliant and was very helpful in making sure our meeting flowed nicely. I enjoyed the unlimited tap and sparkling water! All the drinkware and furniture were so perfect. My colleagues also all raved about the interior decoration as well. Every staff member at Meet in Place were very friendly and helpful to my colleagues and me as well. Overall, a fantastic experience and I'm sure this will not be the first time we use this space.
