The first hour was on forest trails with slight inclines & declines. Anyone can do it even if you've never ridden before. Second half of ride was mostly walking upstream then downstream in a slow flowing river. Horses seemed to really enjoy this as it zigzagged up about 1/4 mile. You will really enjoy this relaxing ride & recommend you spend the extra $$ for the 2hr. You won't be disappointed, here's some pics, cheers and thanks. Matt, who runs the company, knows horses, cares about his customers, is very communicative, and works very hard to make each trail ride comfortable and fun, regardless of his customers' prior riding experience. He matched each of us with a horse that suited our size, experience, and personality, with the result that the hour-long trail ride was super enjoyable, an outing I know we'll all fondly remember for quite some time to come.

My husband really enjoyed how beautiful his golf experience was. The staff are so kind & accommodating. We got lunch once at their restaurant. Everyone loved their food. My burger was quite burnt, however. The fries were good though. The amenities are all very thought through. We enjoyed the 10 minute hike we had up to a waterfall that was nearby. It was so peaceful and nice. We actually came for a destination wedding! Not sure how many weddings they do, but we had a great time. Beautiful wedding & no complaints as a guest. Be aware however that I have AT&T and had no signal my whole stay. I relied on WiFi.
