Sadie's first class
Ray G.

Kris has been an excellent trainer from day 1 for our whole family. Our little Sadie has done so well in this program, so we highly recommend Canine Moxy!

Best dog training! I took my dog, I was really nervous about how my dog would act. Kris helped me to keep my dog under control and is teaching me how to handle my dog best. I will continue to come to Kris and canine moxy my dog is already acting better after 1 class! Kris also helped me find out what size collar and muzzle my dog needs. We stayed for group socialisation and Kris was able to identify what exactly makes me dog reactive to other animals! I'm so glad we found Kris and canine moxy!

So thankful for Kris with Canine Moxy! We can go on family walks now!

So thankful for Kris with Canine Moxy! He has so much knowledge and truly loves dogs! Before I found Canine Moxy, Ava would pull on the leash and take off when she saw other dogs. She had no respect for me and would knock over my toddler and chase my cats. Honestly I still hadn't formed a bond with her, and would of called it quits with her if my son and her didn'thabe this amazing bond. Kris helped me teach Ava commands, and leash walking skills. Over the last few months I started connecting with Ava and couldn't imagine our family without her!

Hi there, I'm interested in training for our 10 month old Min Pin. I'm just not sure how these "class credits" work. For example, how many credits does a group walking…

I brought my 8 month old puppy to training there and a couple play days in preparation for boarding. I then decided to board her over Easter for a last-minute trip instead of leaving her home with my grown son. I booked her boarding on April 3rd for my trip starting on April 14th. My son was very upset about not being able to keep her so on April 10th while she was at a play day, I explained the situation to the kennel and asked if I could just put my $180 boarding deposit towards future play days and cancel the boarding as keeping my son happy was more important to me than boarding my puppy. Well, it turns out that April 5 was the deadline for cancellation. I know for a fact they were not full as I was able to choose her boarding area. The deadline was literally two days after I confirmed and paid the $180 deposit for her boarding, yet I don't remember anyone telling me about the deadline to cancel being two days later. It blows me away that with my unique circumstances, they refused to put my $180 towards future play days as I would've been bringing her there 2 to 3 times a month at $30 a day not to mention the training sessions I would have been booking. I booked it two days before the supposed deadline and a week later, I had to change my mind due to family issues. I was not asking for my money back. I just wanted to be able to use it somewhere else. Lastly please be aware that you are charged for all play days and training sessions when you book the date instead of the day of service. This doesn't seem right. They already have your credit card on file so there's no need to charge you ahead of time. That should be done after the training or play days are completed.

If you're reading this as a frustrated dog parent, look no further for any other trainer/ company…read more Absolutely go with Bark Busters! Amanda, our trainer is a genius. She showed me this video of a mama dog correcting her pups and this is what the leader of the pack (me) does. I'm basically mama grunting at them when they do anything out of line or any thing I want to correct. Amanda is super cool and personable and can show you so many ways to get your dogs in line. There's obviously more to it than just grunting so make you're appointment with this company!!! My dogs are happier dogs! My dogs don't have anxiety and IIIIIIIIII don't have anxiety. I can enjoy my dogs now! It's crazy. It's totally working! No treat or punish training. My Cooper is not fear barking and lunging at people and my other dog Hunny isn't separation anxiety barking outside when she can't see me. It took one water spray and a grunt before she came inside; I closed the door again and she quietly, patiently waited to come in until I let her. Some dogs are a little more stubborn (cooper has been surprisingly) but it's working. Hunny fell in line immediately. My dogs aren't CRAZY! Amanda and I are working on leash training in 2 weeks. Potty/ crate training rn. No more pee pads. This is what I've been needing in my home. Thank you Amanda!

She has problems with reactivity on a leash, poor recall, and general stubborn behavior. We are still working through these things, but in six weeks with Sit Means Sit the difference is huge. She will not bark at other dogs now. If she does, it is once and she stops when I ask her to. She does not pull on the leash like she used to. I can actually get her attention when I need her to do something now. We trained at day camp with Ashley and she was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. She was so supportive and even stayed late with us to work through some problems together pretty much every lesson. My husband is reluctant to enforce rules or make our pup do things she doesn't want to do, and Ashley helped him with a few pep talks to understand why training is so important, even if it can be frustrating and uncomfortable. We are still learning and still have group classes to take, but so far I've been impressed and grateful.

The group classes have been a great way for my dog to build confidence and practice calming down around other dogs, and I've seen such a difference in his behavior at home, in public, and on walks. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive and patient training program!
