I struggled with the decision to leave my two poodles at a kennel for the first time this year…read more In the past I only had one poodle, a mini and I always left him with family. Last year I bought another poodle, this time a toy. Since I had two dogs now I wanted to change it up and leave them somewhere different so they could interact with other dogs. I shopped around and found Rutgers Creek. I went out to basically interview the place because I would never leave my dogs with anyone I felt was sketchy. When I got there I met Steve, the owner and Stephanie, his staff. I was able to look around and check out where they would be sleeping, eating and playing. The first thing I noticed is the sleeping area was very clean, This is major to me. My dogs are not only my pets but they are family. They were very professional and made me feel like my babies would be taken very good care of. I only left them there for half of our vacation and had a family member pick them up after a few days. When they were picked up they were clean, did not smell like they've been soaked in urine which I heard from friends who used other kennels, and they were exhausted from all the excitement. I've only boarded them once but because of the positive experience we had here I will definitely bring them back.

They did a wonderful job with socializing her and starting her off on training. The facility itself is beautiful. It's very clean and well staffed. I can't recommend Nancy at Know Your Dog Training highly enough…read more After doing extensive research to find the right trainer, I'm so glad I found Nancy. From the beginning it was clear that she has a deep understanding of dogs and brings a calm, confident, and professional approach to everything she does. My dog Kane completed a training program with her, and I was extremely impressed with the experience and the results. Nancy takes the time to truly understand each dog and provides the kind of structure, guidance, and consistency that helps dogs thrive. Since then, Nancy has also become my trusted go-to whenever I travel. Knowing Kane is in her care gives me tremendous peace of mind. He always comes home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. What really sets Nancy apart is the level of attention and personalization she provides. This isn't a typical boarding situation -- she genuinely gets to know the dogs she works with and creates a thoughtful, structured environment for them. Nancy is trustworthy, caring, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. I'm very grateful I found her and would recommend Know Your Dog Training without hesitation to anyone looking for a skilled trainer or a safe, reliable place for their dog while they're away.

But none of this would be possible without the exceptional guidance and personalized help we've had over the past several years from the team at Good Dog. Do yourself a favor, and sign up for class today. You won't regret it! Here's the reality... I had no idea how to train a dog. I thought it was something you do for a couple of months, and maybe you get a dog that listens to you. But Anne's approach of really helping dog owners understand dog psychology and effective techniques for breaking skill-building into bite-sized chunks helped me reshape my thinking and develop the patience and consistency needed to get an incredible result. I never dreamed that I could have a dog that listens as well as Sierra. How well does Sierra listen? Well, her recall is so good that she came running up 2 flights of stairs when I previewed the video I chose to include in this review. Just from the whistle in the video. I thought that kind of behavior was outside of my abilities to achieve. But Good Dog helped me realize that training a dog doesn't have to be a burden -- it's a lot easier than you think. It just requires consistency and a bit of oversight from a knowledgeable expert. Point is... You could have this for your dog, too!

This review is long overdue !…read more We used Paw Pals walking service for a long while for our two dogs, Reggiano and Mozzarella. Our schedules changed so we no longer need their service. The walkers that came to us were wonderful. They respected our home, rules, and always treated our dogs like they were their own. Aylin was normally assigned to our pups. She would always send us great photos and updates from her 30 minute walks/ playdates with the dogs. She took the time to figure out what worked best for our two. The dogs, or The Cheesies as she called them, were always thrilled to see her. Our dog, Reggie, also went to daycare at their facility for a few weeks, but because of his dog reactivity/ easy overstimulation, we decided that utilizing their walking service would be better for him. I loved that they picked him up from home for us. Their services really helped us out and made us not have to worry about how we would get him to and from the facility. Reggie also received a bath/ blowout at their facility and he came back smelling great.
